Adam is a CHILD. I think people forget that. He’s an overpowered five year old at most. I think it’s cool he learned the beginnings of empathy by seeing the creature mourning its master.
Yeah I think a lot of comic book fans can’t get over the fact that he’s underpowered but don’t realize that the whole point is for him to grow in power and maturity, assuming he will return as well. On the other hand, I can kind of understand where they are coming from. Marvel has a habit of introducing characters, setting them up to return but never following through with it- or at least putting it off for a long time. It’s just not the same anymore now that we don’t have Endgame and all that to work towards. With the strikes and especially all the drama surrounding Kang because of the whole Jonathan Majors domestic violence case no one really knows how we are going to build up to the final showdown of the Multiverse Saga. so it really is a matter of how long it will actually be before we see Adam again. Fans are probably worried that this is the only representation of the characters abilities we will get and have a desire to see him rise to is full comic book level potential. I still think that this is no reason to hate the character though, I think he was well introduced even if we didn’t see all he is capable of yet.
@@dylancole1910Jonathan Majors’s case looks to be going in his favor and even then Kang is like the easiest character to recast. Kang is the least of marvels worries
Yeah, but fortunatley I did get to learn about Adam in the GOTG: The Animated Series. When vol. 2 had come out and we got to see Adam in his cocoon stage I knew right away that they where gonna go with the story of him starting as a villain, but later on becomes a good guy when learning about empathy. He's still in his learning stage.
“There is no God, that’s why I stepped in!” One of the best villain lines in all of history (imo). That one line sums up his whole character so perfectly, and is delivered so well.
It is deep when you think about it. Imagine been a god and you create and destroy. So many deaths in a world we are living also and poverty and sickness. Imagine god staying back and letting all this happen and we all say god is good. Not saying god is bad or do not exist, all i'm saying is that if you put High Evolutionary as a god figure you starting to realize there is a bigger plan then we usually see it
It gives you an idea as to why he is so fixated on making a perfect world, there is no one else. It’s an understandable goal, but I think the long years have just made him cruel because he’s gotten nowhere.
The actress who voices Lylla also plays Clint Barton's wife in the MCU. There's an adorable photo of the dog who plays Cosmo (Slate) and the dog who plays Lucky the Pizza Dog from Hawkeye (Jolt) together, and it is just the cutest darn thing.
I really enjoy two things with the ending: 1) "I love you guys" from Groot. It's not that he learned to say something besides "I am Groot" it's that we can finally understand him. We've spent enough time to know what he means when he says, "I am Groot." 2) Rocket and Nebula yelling and howling with joy with their friends/family. Possibly the two characters in the MCU who have gone through the most physical and emotional trauma finally finding joy and peace.
This movie broke me. On so many levels. I hate animal cruelty and James Gunn made sure I would hate the High Evolutionary more than any other MCU character. But Nebulas reaction to Rocket being okay... man I had tears of joy in my eyes. She was so happy she couldn't even try to supress her emotions like she usually does. Brilliant moment.
I am not a particularly emotional guy but when I saw this at the cinema I cried probably more than any film I've ever seen. It has not gotten any easier, even just watching this cut down version is heart-breaking. Rocket's first word is just devastating.
You are the 1st person I've seen doing this reaction that understood the I LOVE YOU GUYS fr Groot!! Well done Addie 👏🏽 great reaction pal and I knew it would hit the feels 😢😢😢
It's about TIME!!!! This movie is my favorite of the trilogy. High Evolutionary is such a GREAT villain. Rocket's backstory is one of the best story arcs.
@@NikoStark1 For me it's always 70% actor and 30% writing. Good actor can well sell even shit writing. For example Cavill in "The Witcher" - writing is shitty tragical, but I still enjoy Geralt played by Cavill
@@rafailkarampetsos6914 I feel the same way, I used to tout that Captain America had the best movies but I never really cared for the first movie. It's an okay movie but the other two just overshadow it and many other mcu movies. With GOTG, pretty much every movie was in the upper tier of the mcu movies imo.
It was confirmed that when Groot says "I love you guys" he still says "i am groot" but we have spent so much time with the guardians that we understand him, because we too are part of the guardians now :)
I think it’s awesome how well this movie balances such a large cast. Tbh I had almost forgotten what it was like to watch an MCU movie where I generally really like every character involved, but everyone really gets a chance to shine here *and* get a really satisfying ending.
Addie....THANK YOU. Thank you for continuing to be one of my absolute favorite reactors. Thank you for loving the MCU journey with the rest of us. Thank you for your transparency during your Better Health intro. Thank you for your sweet and sensitive heart. Thank you for your genuine emotions during this fantastic wrap-up to this amazing trilogy. I am in love with this movie, especially Rocket's backstory, painful as it was, and I cried right along with you all over again. THANK YOU. 😊❤
Excellent reaction, Addie. Congratulations on making it to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023) and with 70K subscribers on UA-cam 🎉🎉. This is definitely my favorite MCU movie of the year. I enjoyed seeing it in IMAX 1.90:1 with my girlfriend and a friend of ours. The escape from the Orgocorp facility at the end where all of the guards were flying around was hilarious but Lylla's death at the hands of the High Evolutionary was so heartbreaking to cause Rocket to attack the HE in anger and leave his mark on him. The HE deserves a "How dare you!" comment for his mockery of Rocket mourning Lylla. BTW, I like your Cosmo The Space Dog shirt.
I actually loved Tenet. That movie was awesome and intense in IMAX. It's a movie that's definitely worth a rewatch to dive into it's plot even further. I would suggest that movie to Addie. She's gonna feel her heart race.
I read a comment someone wrote back when this movie first came out that made a lot of sense. They pointed out Mantis's much more aggressive personality in this movie than we've seen from her in the past. This is because she's an empath. She feeds off the emotions of those around her. And living on Ego, she spent her entire life isolated by herself. So now after living with the Guardians for an extended period of time and with all the arguing and violence around them, it makes perfect sense why Mantis would start being more hostile.
The trouble I have with the Guardians of the Galaxy movies is the sound of James Gunn sharpening a knife that he’s going to use to cut my heart out that I can hear in every movie
This movie is one of the few movies that made me feel emotions that I can't even explain. It made me laugh, it made upset, and it made me understand Rocket waaay more than I was prepared for. All in all, I absolutely LOVE this movie. James Gunn did an incredible job ending one of the best Marvel trilogies of all time
My and my daughter watched this IMAX first showing... she saw me get up and dance w/ Drax, then everyone got up and danced. Was truely magic in the theatre it turned into party and we left laughing and dancing while the next line of ppl were about to go in.
Haven't finished the full video yet but, honestly, am I the only one that thought "yes!" Seeing her get choked up so early in the movie when the really sad moments hadn't even played yet?
Nathan Fillion is really good friends with James Gunn and so James has always tried to get Nathan cast in every movie he makes. He actually had parts in every Guardians movie. He was the voice of the big blue alien in the prison that threatened Quill and then Groot shoved his fingers up his nose. He had a part filmed in the Vol. 2 but it was cut from the movie and now the security guard in Vol. 3. They even cast Molly C. Quinn who played Fillion's daughter on the TV series Castle. She is the red headed human Ravager that hugs Gamora when she returns to them at the end of the movie. She also hands out the Guardians Orco Corp uniforms to the Guardians before they break in. She appeared in Vol. 2 as the woman talking to Howard the Duck.
Love this. After seeing Ratcatcher’s actress playing the pink alien woman, I want you to see The Suicide Squad so badly (Also the Venom & Godzilla/Kong films)
One thing I really like about the High Evolutionary is that they make him menacing and utterly, despicably evil without making him cool, like Marvel will do for villains they want to keep around or turn good down the line. They did that with Loki, and he led an invasion of Earth, and with Thanos, who literally killed half the life in the universe. Like Thanos, the High Evolutionary also dreams of making a better world, even if it’s based more on his own ego than anything else, but there’s nothing about his actions or mindset that will anyone think he’s onto something.
Chukwudi Iwuji... he's such a nice man in interviews... but holy shit did he play a PERFECT villain. And nothing about him will make the viewer either sympathetic, or empathetic. There is no "so yeah I know I wanna literally remove 50% of everything... because planets are overpopulated and slowly consuming themselves." No. The High Evolutionary is fucking VILE. And Chuckwudi nailed that. In the mcu... he IS my #1 villain in the MCU. There really is no villain that one can hate as truly as one can about the High Evolutionary. I knew when I saw this in theaters that I'd cry at least once... I wasn't expecting to be hard choking down tears the entire thing. It was Groot that broke my camels back. Ok so it's actually done that every time I watch this movie... Realizing in that moment, that I've spent enough time with them, to finally understand Groots language... Like a dagger to the chest... but one that makes you happy Also Will Poulter killed it as well. He plays such a perfect young child (I mean MCU timeline he's only like 7 years old give or take I absolutely love what Gunn did with the Guardians. It's all about loss. Which is something that I don't have the best ways to deal with... even 20 years after... and every GOTG cry that I get, just feels so releasing
I dont remember the last time I cried this much during a movie - it was a non stop rollercoaster of emotion with no way off - Lets pay attention to the fact that the very first thing Rocket says is "Hurts". Sums up his whole character :( "Im glad he has friends"...oh sweetie :( The High Evolutionary was such a great bad guy - he was so obsessed and deranged and his total downward spiral of rage was utterly terrifying.
This movie was hard for me to watch. Animal testing is horrific and I hate that it's a real thing. Their ability to be happy just to be around each other in terrible conditions is so sad. Lylla, Teefs, and Floor, I barely knew them but I'll never forget their story😭

Fun fact…in the comics High Evolutionary has his rocket ship embedded in Mount Wundagore while he is on Earth. Wundagore is the mountain in Dr Strange Multiverse of Madness where the Scarlet Witch goes to use the Darkhold and then brings it down on herself when she destroys the Darkhold.
Pretty sure (SPOILER anything Wanda related) MoM Scarlet Witch Wundagore is its own Canon like the movie was its own canon without having seen WandaVision.
Honestly, all the beauty and sadness of the Rocket storyline, all the development of the Guardians, all the awesomeness aside, can we please also mention Chukwudi Iwuji absolutely KILLING it as the High Evolutionary?
This movie absolutely cemented GoTG as my favourite Marvel trilogy, it's the perfect ending to the story of the Guardians as we know them. Funnily enough, when I first watched it I didn't get teary over ANY of it except for when Nebula reacted to Rocket being ok, but now that I'm up to watching reactions on here I get teary over so much more. I really hope they continue the Guardians in some way, even though it's been confirmed that this is the final movie for these particular characters as a team. Maybe a TV series with the new Guardians as we see them at the end. And I hope they bring back The High Evolutionary, he's easily the most compelling villain they've got atm. I think my favourite arc in the trilogy would have to be Drax's, going from someone "big and dumb and literal" out for revenge over his wife and daughter being killed, to a genuinely complex character whose job it is now to raise a bunch of kids who need a dad. Or mum. Or just parent, really. But going from wanting to avenge his own kid's murder to looking after a bunch of kids who were going to be murdered is just beautiful.
This movie puts into context the ending of the first guardians as a emotional ending. Rocket was mourning the death of Groot, & Drax slowly came over & comforted him, likely the first time someone other than Groot showed Rocket any compassion.
The theory is that Gamora spent enough time with them to understand him. Same thing with the audience. After 3 movies and 9 years, we can understand him.
So glad that you’ve reacted to this movie! It’s hard to figure out which Guardians of the Galaxy movie is my favorite because they are all great! Probably my favorite trilogy of the MCU along with Captain America! They ended this trilogy perfectly in my opinion. I’m glad you liked the movie, Addie! :D
Best individual franchise in the MCU, and that's really saying something. 8:23 The tears begin, they will be far from the last. 😢 14:10 Once again, a top-notch soundtrack and continuing to move forward in time. Spacehog were kind of a One-Hit Wonder, but "In The Meantime" is still a great 90's tune.👍 15:34 Nathan Fillion! Love that guy, hope Marvel uses him more. 🤩 15:51 That's Jennifer Holland, James Gunn's wife (who was excellent in Peacemaker, another Gunn gem). 19:23 They really play up the "someone's gonna die in this one" hype. Glad they let us off somewhat easy. 20:35 Addie's level of emotion here does not bode well for later in the movie. 27:27 And here we go... 😭...32:28 again. 24:26 Always happy to hear Faith No More, even if it is pre-Patton. 🤘 38:28 Bought "Licensed To Ill" by Beastie Boys back in '86, loved this song ever since. 🤘🤘🤘 44:40 This is really the icing on the soundtrack cake, Florence Welch is a Goddess. 😍
29:55 one of my favorite mannerisms Addie has is when she finds something shocking she repeats what just happened out loud as though to reaffirm “yeah I just watched that happen” 😂
This is definitely my favorite of the trilogy. And I'm not surprised Addie needed her tissues handy, it's kind of a tear jerker sometimes! 🙂 Considering how much she likes James Gunn's Guardians Hopefully Addie will take a look at The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker at some point, they definitely have kind of a similar Gunn vibe to them.
If anyone is confused, the guardians can understand and communicate to Groot because of their bond and being in his inner circle hence why in the first movie only Rocket could speak to him. By Groot actually speaking english it's the MCU's way of saying we as the audience are in Groot's inner circle now, their way of saying welcome to the family.
Addie deserves so many more subscribers. Sometimes, I wonder why some people don't grow quicker. Adorable and does great reactions. I'll just keep watching, sharing, and liking. Go, Addie!
I didn’t realize until seeing someone mention it was nebulas reaction to hearing rocket hit her harder because they were the only two together for the five years while the rest had blipped away.
I was in the theater watching when That one time yondu appeared in that one scene idk who it was put someone randomly said in the theater is that iron man……. I’m literally dying☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️
I'm commenting this at the beginning of watching this but they told us in the Christmas special that Mantis is also a daughter of Ego. So she's Quill's half brother.
Because you've caught up on the MCU, I would recommend The Tick as a palette cleanser. It's a unique take on the superhero genre. I don't think I've seen anyone react to it (any of the three versions, but I'm thinking the 2016-19 run). Come to think of it, I don't think I've seen anyone react to any Amazon Prime originals, maybe they're unusually aggressive with copyright claims.
I rather like how James Gunn made this as an end to his trilogy (as he moves on to the DCU), with something of a farewell to them all, while still leaving the characters very much available for the MCU to utilise as they see fit.

Great reaction Addie like always this one broke my heart, its so emotional and at the same funny its a mix of emotions but its one of the best MCU movies in the last years. And the soundtrack is phenomenal! Love it! And this movie is the first Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movie to have an uncensored use of “fu*k”, in its gerund form. Keep up the amazing work.
The more times I watch this movie, the more painful it becomes. In Guardians 1, when the Nova Corps has the Guardians under arrest and is reviewing their rap sheets, it lists known associates for each of the Guardians. For Rocket, it lists Lylla. Think about that. That doesn't make any sense, does it? Seems impossible, right? That means Rocket has been traveling the galaxy telling tales of his friends, and turning them into legends. He's made them so legendary that they are thought of as real living associates of his. Why else would the Nova Corps have Lylla listed on his rap sheet? No one in the universe knows that she ever even existed. Just Rocket. And fuck, THAT hurt. I remembered that she appeared on his rap sheet in the original movie, because I knew who the character was when I saw the first movie. Rocket and his girlfriend Lylla, of course, it's natural that she would be one of his known associates. So obviously she must be around somewhere, right? .... Yea.... Not so much..... They're so important to Rocket that he's keeping them alive in memory, just by telling stories about them anywhere and everywhere he goes, to everybody who will listen. Even the Nova Corps have heard their legend to the degree that they have them recorded as known associates.... And what has Rocket been called? Talking Raccoon Rodent. Ranger Rick. Hamster. Trash Panda. Triangle-faced monkey. Fox. Rat. Crabby Puppy. Rabbit. Build-a-Bear Ratchet. And what does he always say? "I'm not a raccoon." Then at the end of Guardians 3, he finally calls himself Rocket Raccoon, because he finally discovers the cage full of baby raccoons, right? With the label telling him where they were found on Earth and that they are raccoons. Right? Partially. Who calls him a raccoon? Ego calls him a triangle-faced monkey. I think Starhawk calls him a hedgehog. Iron Man calls him Ratchet and Build-A-Bear. Mantis calls him crabby puppy. Etc etc. But who calls him raccoon? Star-Lord does. His best friend. He calls him a raccoon multiple times throughout the movies, and when he denies being a raccoon, Star-Lord makes fun of him by calling him alternate raccoon names, like trash panda and Ranger Rick, because Star-Lord knows he's a raccoon. He's not confused about what type of creature he is. Who else calls him a raccoon? Well, Black Widow mentioned him being a raccoon while he wasn't around, because obviously she knows what a raccoon is too, but that's it, right? No. Lylla also calls him a raccoon. Her beloved raccoon. That's what she calls him...from the afterlife. Again, he denies being a raccoon. And then almost IMMEDIATELY after he finds the cage full of baby raccoons with the plaque that says that they are raccoons from Earth, and then THAT'S when it clicks for him. Not only does he finally realize that he IS in fact a raccoon, he realizes that his best friend and loved ones are the ones who call him raccoon. They've been trying to tell him what he really is all along, not making fun of him or flippantly calling him something at random like everybody else. Star-Lord only calls him trash panda or Ranger Rick to poke fun at him after he refuses to be called a raccoon. And of course Rocket doesn't get those jokes either, and that they're STILL nicknames/references to raccoons. But once he realizes that it's true, he wears it as a badge of honor IMMEDIATELY, essentially as an act of defiance when he's interrupted while in the process of trying to rescue a ton of baby raccoons who may very well literally be his family. He tells the psychopath that he's Rocket Raccoon, as if to accept it as the truth AND to represent all the creatures he's avenging. The High Evolutionary destroyed by a raccoon.
13:27 So, funny you said that, because the very first TMNT comic book was linked to Daredevil! In the comic, the same toxic chemicals that blinded Matt Murdock ended up falling into the sewer and created the turtles. Also, Splinter's name was a reference to Matt's mentor, Stick. So you're actually more right than you thought!
James Gunn likes to work with the same actors for these movies, and I think you haven't seen it, but in the DCEU he wrote and directed The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker, and in TSS he worked with Chukwudi Iwujihis, who was Murn; his wife Jennifer Holland, who was Harcourt; Daniela Melchior, who was Ratcatcher; and Nathan Fillion, T.D.K. And he brought them back: Chukwudi as High Evolucionary, Jennifer as that yellow alien that got shot in the leg, Daniela as the purple alien Ura, and Nathan as the guard on Orgocorp.

Originally the original Groot and Yondu were going to be with Lyla, Teeth and Floor in the afterlife but they throught it might confuse people who didnt see the first two films so the idea was scrapped
Great reaction Addie! I Luv the rocket backstory! Wasn't ready for the emotions but glad they told his story! Yeah rocket admits he's a raccoon! Soundtrack is still great. Luv ya Addie ❤💛
The mistreatment of Animals, because of their blameless, innocent spirit, is one of the darkest things humans can do. My Wife & I have always gotten Rescue Dogs, but by far the most tragic was our Scruffy Princess, Ivy. She was a black terrier mutt, who was originally bred to be a Bait Dog. She was found by a Rescue Group crammed into a Standard sized Dog crate with her 5 littermates, all near death from Starvation & Dehydration. When they examined her, they found that she had cried so hard, she had given herself a Hernia. When my Wife & I first met her, it was by accident. We had arranged to meet another Dog the rescue was hosting, at a local dog park. Ivy had somehow managed to sneak onto the van & they didn't have time to take her back. So, while my Wife is standing, talking to one of the Rescue People, I'm sitting on the ground, watching our Husky, Maya, playing with the dog we were supposed to meet. Suddenly, this little black ball, slinks up into my lap & falls asleep. She was the one we took home. Our Husky was a loveable, but crazy dog. We called her, 'The Maya Monster'. But she had been raised in an abusive home, so we never blamed her. However, the day we brough Ivy Home, Maya instantly changed. She became the Perfect Mommydog. From frantic & crazy to gentle and calm, she loved Ivy as a much as any Dog has loved another. For roughly Six Months after we got her, Ivy Cried every time at Dinner, because she was terrified she would get nothing. I always fed her first & eventually, she stopped crying. Ivy died from Brain Cancer at age 6. She was so Good in her nature, you could practically feel it. It was heart-rending to lose her when we did, but considering that she was bred to die, like Rocket & his friends, I am glad we could give her a much better fate.
Its weird how refreshing it is to have a villain that you purely hate and has absolutely no redeeming quality. Chukwudi Iwuji did amazing job as bad guy.
Addie I really enjoyed your heartfelt reaction to this movie. I definitely teared up multiple times watching it. However between endgame and this movie it feels like the MCU I loved is over.

Me too. I am glad I saw it on the big screen. I was thinking about for days. Her reaction to video is right what I was thinking when watching it.
HURTS
Glad I'm not the only guy who shed tears at this one.
Same here, i liked the first a lot, the second one less so, but still enjoyed it for the most part. But part three just hits different.
GREAT villain coz played by GREAT actor
He was great then he became a shouty manchild.
@@NikoStark1 For me it's always 70% actor and 30% writing. Good actor can well sell even shit writing. For example Cavill in "The Witcher" - writing is shitty tragical, but I still enjoy Geralt played by Cavill
@@NikoStark1 No because I'm still talking about writing of character, not entire movie/show
Rocket's first word being "Hurts" kills me.
Oooh man, this movie did not prepare any of us. Rockets story hits so hard🥹 love your content Addie! 🌺
People saying stuff like that made me think someone was going to die.
My favorite trilogy of the MCU hands down.
Captain America trilogy is still better but this is second.
@@jthomann71captain America trilogy second cause of the first avenger. Good movie but the other superior and all the guardians movie amazing so yeah.
Spiderman is better imo
@@tizzle-heroicstars7591MCU Spider-Man is hardly Spider-Man. They basically had him want to be Iron-Lad much more than Spider-Man.
First: WE ARE GROOT & now I LOVE YOU GUYS. Groot is the heart of the Guardians.
Speaking of Elizabeth Debicki, I also suggest Tenet (2020), directed by Christopher Nolan. #TenetForAddieCounts
I actually loved Tenet. That movie was awesome and intense in IMAX. It's a movie that's definitely worth a rewatch to dive into it's plot even further. I would suggest that movie to Addie. She's gonna feel her heart race.
Watching this opening night everyone audibly gasped when Cosmo was referred to as a "Bad Dog"
Love the realization that these movies have been about Rocket the whole time.
You ready to shed some tears today, Addison? You're going to experience some emotions with this one.
18:06 I love how subtle this scene, emphasised Nebula's character development and pretty much everyone got their moment to shine.
46:18 We have coined the term "Giga Groot"
This movie is one of the few movies that made me feel emotions that I can't even explain. It made me laugh, it made upset, and it made me understand Rocket waaay more than I was prepared for. All in all, I absolutely LOVE this movie. James Gunn did an incredible job ending one of the best Marvel trilogies of all time
My and my daughter watched this IMAX first showing... she saw me get up and dance w/ Drax, then everyone got up and danced. Was truely magic in the theatre it turned into party and we left laughing and dancing while the next line of ppl were about to go in.
Rocket's first word being "hurts" sent me spiraling so hard. I was a wreck.
Seeing them wear their Annihilator uniforms makes the comic nerd in me smile. They look absolutely perfect now.
Love this. After seeing Ratcatcher’s actress playing the pink alien woman, I want you to see The Suicide Squad so badly
(Also the Venom & Godzilla/Kong films)
Unfortunately she won't
@@danielcastillo9587 Don't be so sure.
I watched this movie in the theater, and the scene that broke me was when Nebula started crying after hearing Rocket's voice.
As with E.T., this is a film where I cannot make it to the end without crying. Easily my new favorite MCU film.
You're the first reacter I've seen that recognized those creatures (abillisks) as the same kind as the one from the opening of GotG 2. ✌️😁
Chukwudi Iwuji... he's such a nice man in interviews... but holy shit did he play a PERFECT villain. And nothing about him will make the viewer either sympathetic, or empathetic. There is no "so yeah I know I wanna literally remove 50% of everything... because planets are overpopulated and slowly consuming themselves."
No.
Like a dagger to the chest... but one that makes you happy
Also Will Poulter killed it as well. He plays such a perfect young child (I mean MCU timeline he's only like 7 years old give or take
I absolutely love what Gunn did with the Guardians.
Sums up his whole character :(
"Im glad he has friends"...oh sweetie :(
The High Evolutionary was such a great bad guy - he was so obsessed and deranged and his total downward spiral of rage was utterly terrifying.

That look of disgust and petty disdain on his face when he says "just incinerate them" really highlights how little he cared about Batch 89.
@@dovee1 "There is no God, that's why I stepped in" is such a killer line, too.
After these years we have a F-Bomb & Rocket admits he's a raccoon.
Guardians of galaxy 1 and 3 is best
2 is least in trilogy
My personal favorite is 2 but 1 & 3 are also great.
I find it funny that Rocket becomes the new captain of the Guardians when Thor called Rocket the captain in Infinity War.
The tease for this movie was the guardians christmas special. I loved it
Best individual franchise in the MCU, and that's really saying something.
8:23 The tears begin, they will be far from the last. 😢
14:10 Once again, a top-notch soundtrack and continuing to move forward in time. Spacehog were kind of a One-Hit Wonder, but "In The Meantime" is still a great 90's tune.👍
15:34 Nathan Fillion! Love that guy, hope Marvel uses him more. 🤩
15:51 That's Jennifer Holland, James Gunn's wife (who was excellent in Peacemaker, another Gunn gem).
38:28 Bought "Licensed To Ill" by Beastie Boys back in '86, loved this song ever since. 🤘🤘🤘
44:40 This is really the icing on the soundtrack cake, Florence Welch is a Goddess. 😍
17:40 that is Daniel Melchoir who played Ratcatcher in The Suicide Squad.
@@SurvivorBri Noice, didn't even recognize her. 👍
17:10 Same actor as the big FBI guy in Ant Man and the Wasp and Dutch from Red Dead
Considering how much she likes James Gunn's Guardians Hopefully Addie will take a look at The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker at some point, they definitely have kind of a similar Gunn vibe to them.
I predict three major cries for A during the best end to a trilogy in recent memory! ❤❤❤ You rock.
In the guardians holiday special on Disney plus, that's where we learn mantis is quill's sister
This movie had me openly weeping lol I’m very happy I didn’t see this one in the theaters
Addie deserves so many more subscribers. Sometimes, I wonder why some people don't grow quicker. Adorable and does great reactions. I'll just keep watching, sharing, and liking. Go, Addie!
I've been waiting for this one! Hope you like it as much as I did.
"He's not a squirl". Exactly. He's a rabbit like Thor said.
44:31 yes Addie i think some people didnt understand the meaning of that at first... but its so cool that we can understand Groot now
God, this movie wrecked me as an animal lover. Watching you react (especially to the final "I Am Groot" line was so touching! 🥰
Funny you mentioned the turtles. They actually had a crossover of the turtles with Batman. Definitely worth checking out on the channel
“ROCKET TEEF FLOOR GO NOW”! Absolutely broke me ;-;
Every Rocket scene almost made me cry 😢❤ I love Rocket so much now that I watched this. Poor Rocket didn't deserve any of that pain 😭
I watched this movie in full and I was full of tears, just wanted to see your reaction, love you Addie, waiting on the next reaction
While short that finak fight is perfect, everyone gets a hit and is so satisfying
Shoutout to James Gunn who gave us the best comic book trilogy ever 🎉🎉🎉
I rather like how James Gunn made this as an end to his trilogy (as he moves on to the DCU), with something of a farewell to them all, while still leaving the characters very much available for the MCU to utilise as they see fit.
45:20 -- I *almost* wept, when I saw that in the theaters. I somehow kept my cool.

Only the best people cry at movies! You are awesome!
Talking Raccoon
Rodent.
Ranger Rick.
Hamster.
Trash Panda.
Triangle-faced monkey.
Fox.
Rat.
Crabby Puppy.
Rabbit.
Build-a-Bear
Ratchet.
And what does he always say?
"I'm not a raccoon."
Then at the end of Guardians 3, he finally calls himself Rocket Raccoon, because he finally discovers the cage full of baby raccoons, right?
What an emotional gut punch of a film but it’s great ❤️
13:27 So, funny you said that, because the very first TMNT comic book was linked to Daredevil! In the comic, the same toxic chemicals that blinded Matt Murdock ended up falling into the sewer and created the turtles. Also, Splinter's name was a reference to Matt's mentor, Stick. So you're actually more right than you thought!
1. *Skip to **3:08*
2. A damn near perfect end to this version of the Guardians of the Galaxy movie franchise.
3. #ThankYouGuardians
I just realized something. The F word was used the second time when Rocket was talking and crying to Layla. Totally missed that one.
Watched this on a Saturday, spent Sunday, Monday, Wednesday sloppy sobbing
I loved this movie! Rocket's story is so heartbreaking and they have been teasing it since the first film.
I think the Guardians movies have been my favorite standalone series in the MCU.
The Legendary Starlord is a Marvel comic series that’s about Life on earth for Peter after the Gaurdians.

This is the last of the James Gunn Marvel movies. A great farewell for his last time in the chair.
I watched this on a long international flight and had to choke back the tears so my seatmates wouldn't see 😂
Originally the original Groot and Yondu were going to be with Lyla, Teeth and Floor in the afterlife but they throught it might confuse people who didnt see the first two films so the idea was scrapped
Great reaction Addie! I Luv the rocket backstory! Wasn't ready for the emotions but glad they told his story! Yeah rocket admits he's a raccoon! Soundtrack is still great. Luv ya Addie ❤💛
I love Mantis. I remember not really enjoying the first movie, I wish she had been in it.
Rocket, Lila, Floor and Teefs are the crew that we should have had but never got.
"I am ready for this movie!"
... were you though?
