The best part of my Fast X movie experience had nothing to do with the movie. A family was there with this little child and the theater played 4 horror movie trailers and the kid was terrified. Laughed my ass off
One of the movies I've seen this entire year. The plot is a plot, the characters are characters, the action happened, and the ending was an ending. Truly an all around cinematic masterpiece.

Haven't kept up with the series, but Tokyo Drift will always be my favorite street racing movie.
I haven’t really watched any of the FF movies besides the earlier ones like the first one and Tokyo Drift. This movie was so bad I left early lol. This franchise has barely anything to do with cars and racing anymore! Tokyo Drift was the best one!
The 1st 3 were def the best in terms of being a good movie.. like everyone says all these new ones are really just dumb fun. I dont think anyone takes them serious anymore

@@bricktop. I think I watched a documentary about two white people having a black baby. And it was legit theirs, DNA tests and stuff. That documentary said that, even both parents are white, there is a very little chance that your baby will be black, due to genes. If your ancestors, at some point, crossbred with other races, there's a chance that gene might awake in the baby.

I don't usually watch his movie reviews, but for some reason I was waiting for this one.
This franchise should have end at Fast five. That felt like a satisfying ending to be honest everyone arc felt like it was done.

When I finished this movie all I wanted to see was yall reaction 🤣 What I like about these FF movies is the amount of times they overplay music and how Vin Diesel knows exactly where all the car surrounding him will land

I went in knowing this was going to be so dumb, not make any sense, and would be funny because of it. It lived up to my expectations. The whole time I was laughing about how stupid everything was.
Fell asleep watching this on a date; her choice. Lessons were learned.
Shit my first date with my wife there was nothing good. So we just went to see the second Percy Jackson. We were the only ones in the theater so we just made fun of the movie the whole time XD

They need to do a Fast 0, where we see how each character learned how to drive.
If they would’ve stopped after 2 fast 2 furious or Tokyo drift it would’ve been a TOTAL classic burned into history.
My favorite part was where Vin Diesel caught a missile mid air after getting launched off his lifted muscle car and threw it back at the bad guys then back flipped back into his car mid air and steered the car into balance while drifting down a collapsing building and once made it safely untouched and the car fully in tact he gets out and looks into the screen just to say “family”
Dont forget guys, Fast X is just the first part of a trilogy lol
I loved this movie! Don't get me wrong, this movie is shit 😂 but those serious moments are HILARIOUS. Especially when Dom gets all emotional lmao his line delivery had me in tears from laughter. Jason Momoa was like a dollar store joker, and it was funny af. The action scenes were so stupid that I had to contain my laughter in the theater. I honestly treat this series as comedy at this point. I hope the ride never ends.

Yeah, I think they missed the point on the dramatic scenes. The way the music was used was purposefully done to make it funny. They know it's stupid.
When Dom shot Jason off of the bridge, I thought he was going to turn into aqua man because this movie was so ridiculous 😂😂

We really must be in opposite world because my brother is like Alex and has deeply hated the series since five only watching it for fun at this point. I love them all, Like Joe, and I feel this one was tame as hell compared to the last 3 or 4. My brother teared up on a certain scene and told me it’s his favorite since the 5th. So yeah man the fast franchise has a rooted place in my heart and the family theme as hysterical as it is means a lot to me who didn’t get to have time with cousins and aunts or even grandparents growing up. Momoa killed it in this and I want to see more. Maybe a Hobbs and Shaw sequel where the rock kicks his ass but still loses.

I understand what I'm getting when I walk into a Fast & Furious film. It's just stupid, crazy, & over the top action sequences and set pieces with characters I enjoy. Jason Momoa was AWESOME as a villain and the mid-credit scene had both theaters I went to going Ape ish!!
This movie was definitely better than Fast 9 simply because Jason Momoa was a better villain. He was fantastic and I need to see more of him as a villain! I loved how they leaned on the memes with the Family stuff.
I was surprised by how much it entertained me. You just gotta embrace the ridiculous shit or else you will hate it. It's never going back to normal. Momoa while at times a bit too much and slightly annoying was cool, quite enjoyed John Cena with his nephew here too, fun scenes. What isn't fun is the open ending. You don't end that way and have us wait until 2025.
Yeah, the ending pissed me off, but there's going to be 2 more movies.

I think the Fast franchise has become like a soap opera with cars and explosion. People enjoy it for the silliness.
Next film, it turns out Jason Momoa's dead dad aint dead, and is the big bad, and Jason has to team up with Dom and Fam to bring down his now over the top villain dad.
I just want Johnny Tran to be the finale villain.

I enjoy this movie alot. Is it a saturday morning cartoon yes but at this point you go into a fast and furious movie for the craziness. I love the rolling bomb scene and aquaman just going full blown cartoony super villian

They're stupidly fun movies, and the cast chemistry after working together so long is second to none.

The action is fun, but the plot is extremely boring, most characters are not important and the pacing is weird. I do agree with you on the craziness part, it’s enjoyable.
@@Serevarno While there's nothing wrong with enjoying the film (it IS fun after all), people also DO have a right to criticize its shortcomings, which Fast X has A LOT. The fact that so many people are fine with mediocrity is the reason why films, music, video games etc are churned out with lack of quality and soul.
To make this funnier, I actually went on Saturday to watch this.
no one comes to these movies expecting a serious movie, that sounds like the real issue. even the first movie is a heist movie with a cop trying to infiltrate the gang of thieves, its literally Point Break with cars. Anyone who claims the movie was ever about street racing are crazy or stupid. Fast and Furious, the very first one was about street racing as much as Point Break was a movie about surfing. even the final race to catch Dom was ludicrous, since he brushes off a car wreck that should have killed him with a "oh my side hurts" and the movies just get more ridiculous from there, increasing the stupidity with each sequel.
Fast and the Furious...2001...the greatest movie ever. I don't even know these other movies yall are speaking of. The only movie that was inspiring to the culture i love.
When the movie ended on that horrendous cliff hanger I hopped out my seat and left as quick as I could ain’t no way you end a movie like that especially this franchise there is no way🤯🤦🏽
(Edit) I should say even tho I did know what they were doing with that cliffhanger setting up for more sequels that is exactly what bothered me. All the other movies ended on a pretty good note, my favorite being 7. But this one just felt lackluster af I just hope whatever last movies they make are better than this.

This movie was pretty good. Just makes sense if you see that Dante is just matching what was done to his Father in Fast 5, which was the suffering part Dante kept mentioning.

I enjoyed this movie , you should understand this is part 1 a set up to part 2 and 3 so when all 3 have come out you can watch all three back to back and enjoy a 6 hour movie

i liked it to be honest. they kinda grounded it a bit compared to 9. ridiculousness is still there but. Still loved it. Momoa indeed kinda saved 10. joker(heathe ledger) vibe but funnier, hard to unlike villain. loved the ridiculousness of it. twas fun

I totally understand the Villain plot in this one. I probably could have had my own family too if everyone wasn't too busy calling me Simple Jack. But then you realize that families aren't for everyone because kids eat everything and make a mess wherever they go and that's BEFORE they get to be grown-ups
The fast franchise is just big dumb fun but I was finding myself in utter disbelief in most of the ridiculous moments. Tbh the only thing that kept me invested in the moment was Jason Momoa because he was THE BEST part

For car lovers, the second best F&F film after the first one isn't even a F&F film. It's the Need for Speed film.

The few good things i will say this movie did was add jason mamoa, A new Mr.Nobody, and to show Fast Five is still probably the best film out of the series
I really liked this movie in comparison to the last two movies, though I found it weird how often the writers were comfortable with “re-skinning” action set pieces from previous movies (notably the highway scene from 6, the heist scene from 5, and the…there was another scene lifted from the 5 movie but I can’t remember). And hot take incoming: I preferred this ending to the one in Across the Spider-Verse.

Honestly think all the movies are really good for what they are. Applying logic to movies like these will simply make you mad. Just enjoy the fun
