The reason is to sound more EPIC I think the main inspiration would be from Bury the Light with how it would open up with just the vocals. Sets the mood for the fight, so I get why it’s there
The first version used a filtered instrumental version because there was no official instrumental back then, but after the release of the last Sonic Frontiers update album they released official instrumental versions, so I also updated the aсapella and it sounds almost like the official one.
