A few things that made me not want to watch the video anymore was the audio artifacts (smacking the mic, other noises) and just some weird vocal reactions that didn't really align with what you were saying. You might want to listen to your segments and do some additional takes if they don't sound right. Also, for a 40 minute video, the content is very rambling and I would suggest some breaks to wake people up and keep them engaged. Like a slide announcing the start of the next subject and a change of music track.
I genuinely appreciate the critical feedback and appreciate you taking the time to provide it. Idk how to make that not sound sarcastic over the Internet but I mean it. The biggest thing I've learned is that I need to not wear my ring while recording lol.
@@ReptarusOnIceI don't think it's just the ring, the shock vibrations are being picked up every time you change hands. I'd suggest a boom arm so you can gesture with your hands and not worry about the mic. Barring that, a shock mount for the mic to isolate the vibrations can help a ton. Additionally, you leave a lot unsaid assuming the listener is going to, or is able to, connect the dots the same way you already have. It can lead to some of your points falling flat. Appreciate you taking the time to make the video, and hope your adventure on UA-cam goes smoothly. May the algorithmic gods favor you :)

Thank you for your credentials, I sorta miss ShittyMorph.
Thank you for this though 🧡
"Old man yells at digital cloud" ha! That one got a chuckle out of me. Also nice touch with the starcraft 1 music that game was my childhood
Subscribed so later I can say, I was at this channel from the beginning.

I too was a Redditor since before Digg imploded. I left in the Apollocalypse and found a home in Lemmy. It's what Reddit could have been.
You guys are doing a pretty good case for giving it another look.
@@ReptarusOnIce The secret is to find an instance that aligns with your values. Make an account on that.
+1 for old reddit! Subbed buddy. Enjoy the journey.
Im having a good time on lemmy (lemmy world). It feels like early reddit. Comments are much nicer in my opinion.
found this video on lemmy, this deserves more views.
btw persona 5 music, nice
Found you from Lemmy! Nice breakdown on the history.
Oh shit I'm on Lemmy lol. I'll have to give it another glance now that it's had time to get some roots.
Great analysis. Good history lesson. STOP BUMPING THE MIC!
Yeah man I realized that I can't wear my wedding ring while recording anymore lol. Appreciate your time and feedback.
@@ReptarusOnIce its not your ring, you need to get a lapel mic. Every time the mic changes hands, it kills the ears.
Just ordered one so it'll be ready for the next video 😊
