RYA Dinghy Trail Brownsea Island

This video shows the starting point and route for the RYA Dinghy Trail for Brownsea Island in Poole Harbour on the South coast of the UK.
The route I took was slightly extended due to the weather conditions on the day, but you will get a good preview of what to expect if you were to visit and sail the trail.

Parking:
At the time of recording the parking APP, JustPark (JP) charged me twice the amount they should have. I contested it and there was a lengthy 'back-and-forth' with emails where they refused to acknowledge they were making a mistake. So I took the case to Bournemouth Council ( BC ) who confirmed that JustPark were acting against BC's instructions. Still JP refused to back down. After more irritating emails I refused to deal with JP any further and dealt only with BC. BC instructed JP to refund my overpayment, which they then had to honour, so I did get my money back, but it did take a lot of effort and a long time. My thanks to BC for supporting my complaint. I will NEVER use JustPark again. So if you are going to do this trail and want to use the app, please check the fee before paying and if it doesn't look right then pay by cash instead at a BC machine.
