- This issue is extremely common on all inkjet printers, especially 2 cartridges systems. The nozzles are so tiny that it doesn't take much for ink to dry or clog the ink nozzles. Let's try to fix this HP ENVY Photo 7855 printer together! Go through the steps on checking what the problem is and manually clean ink cartridges. It worked for me! I know it will work for you!

Before watching this video, I had tried the "Clean Cartridges" mode alone, and it didn't help the problem. I watched the video, and did he manual cleaning followed by the "Clean Cartridges" mode, and the print quality is restored. Thank you so much for this video.
I just spent the past hour trying to figure out how to fix this missing lines on my printouts. After trial and error, rinsing in the sink method was what fixed it. I guess really trying to get it good and clean solved it. Now I know what to do going forward! Thanks for this video!
I was about to throw my printer away cuz I had even put in BRAND NEW cartridges and it still didn't work. Did your steps and it printed like new.

OMG! Boy was I freaking out! Ran the “clean” function and wiped the cartilages and nothing!!! Running under warm water did the trick Thank you so much!!!!!!

I was about to go buy another printer and decided to give fixing it a chance. This was the first video i found and it worked! I followed all of the steps and it worked! I just saved myself 150 bucks! (shoutout Shoe Doc!)

Very helpful. running over warm water, plus an addition self clean did the trick.
love this and it helped me so much. inks are expensive and I knew I had so much ink left and i have waisted so many papers in the past, now I know what to do. Thank you.

the key moment is running the cartridges under hot water. that is what does it . mabey not as hot as i used, but i wasted enough q-tips earlier

I tried the automatic cleaning 3 times and it just got worse my color blocks have white lines they are not that big but not ok for my quality. The printer is just 3 month old... I really dont want to clean it with water. I heard sometimes you need to do the automatic printhead cleaning a lot of times to get it fixed but I also read that you shouldnt do it a lot because it can hurt the printhead. I dont know what to do.
my brand new hp new black cartridge didnt work, missing black color , its brand new one , i will try later ,hope it work, mine is envy 7800 .

Does it work even with refilled hp compatible cartridges? I have the 7155 HP and it was printing blank pages and then bought new 64 compatible ink and black and cyan and yellow printed without magenta. Last time printer was used was June 2021

I just put a brand new color cartridge in and this is the first time cyan (blue) is not showing up and I ran the clean . Bad cartridge maybe idk

I had to manually clean the cartridges but the color failed.
Could it be a faulty cartridge? I sometimes had issues where even an HP brand cartridge would just fail internally for no specific reason.
I got more aggressive and finally resorted to washing off the printheads with warm water and I got them to mostly clear. The resulting color was light but it was enough for my purposes. Thanks.,
