I recently got a used printer from someone who never used it, and when i booted it up the first time, the black ink looked like it was empty, even though it said it was full. I tried cleaning and aligning it, to no avail. Found your video and worked like a charm the first try!
Holy Cow!!! I spent HOURS over MULTIPLE DAYS following the HP recommendations to align, clean printer heads (multiple times), remove HP smart, and printer drivers from my computer and then reinstall everything and try again....and NONE of it even helped a slight bit....and then (imagine magical angel chimes int he background) I watched your video and within 30 SECONDS the issue was fixed!! THANK YOU!!!
You are a GENIUS sir! Thank you so much for helping me fix the issue completely. All I had to do was soak the cartridge in hot water for a few seconds and then I wiped it off with a tissue and it was excellent! I was gonna buy a new ink cartridge so you saved me a lot of money!
THANK YOU. My printer was printing only in color, not black at all. I thought maybe the cartridge was low and just not registering it, so went and bought a new one and encountered the same problem. I was about to throw it out the window when I encountered this video and it solved the problem immediately 🙌🏼
Switch to plain paper? If you have matte or photo paper installed the printer will lay down quite a bit of ink. Also, within the printer driver you will have additional controls...for example, do not print in Greyscale as this consumes quite a bit of ink. Best to choose Black and White only, or similar. ;). UH
Hello. Actually no. While distilled water is the recommended best solution, the use of warm tap water is often considered acceptable solution providing you thoroughly clean all electrical (gold) contacts of remaining water droplets/moisture. -Thx! :). UH
