@Kevin's Ink & More. Thank you very much Kevin! You saved me from buying a new printer to replace my HP Envy 7858. It doesn't see much printing (at least not every month) and I couldn't get the black and color inks to print well. Following the HP help pages did nothing. Soaking both cartridges for about a hour in hot distilled water (120F) really did the trick! I'm guessing they didn't include your cleaning suggestion to maybe sell me more cartridges? Hope you and your family stay safe and well. Thanks again.
@@BCHTechnologies Ahh. I spoke too soon. I've had to soak both the black and color cartridges 5-6 times so far. After each soak, I get about 2-4 pages of good print before the black ink stops printing. Still have about half ink in each cartridge. Should I just toss both or is it worth trying one of your solvents? And will I need the priming kit to draw some ink out of both cartridges? Thank you.
@@ccadama It is worth trying. Since your nozzle is not clogged, the problem is the remaining ink in the ink collection box inside. It will take a longer time for them to move around and eventually coming out.
My issue is my envy 7800 wont print cyan. I followed the printer "clean" cartridges like 15 times and the blue is just GONE D; will soaking my color in in hot water help??
Hello, this is the same model printer as I had. There’s a problem with the dc motor and the gearbox seems fine on the paper feeding trays. The motor had died and it wouldn’t move.
My HP is printing with so many white lines and I've gone as far as buying a new set of ink but it still doing the line. Could it be the cartridge carrier that's gone bad?
don't buy any printer that does not have a separate print head, like the envy 7855, the print heads are the cartridges themselves and the printer wont clean them well enough when they keep clogging. new cartridges don't fix the problem either. the hp officejets are better they actually purge the ink when they clean them on a cleaning cycle when the envy just wastes ink spiting ink on a pad
This works for a while then it comes right back. Blank lines where it doesn't print. I print maybe one a week or so. It is a pain having to taking the cartridge out and soak it and clean it every time. Just going to buy a new cartridge and be done with it.
You saved me from buying a new printer too...much more helpful than HP website resources

Its been a year and he is still saving documents!
Seems to be a common issue with HP Printers - never happened in my 20+ years with Canon Printers.
thanks this really helped me out
I had this problem. After watching your video and cleaning dripping in warm water and cleaning..it worked 💪

Works for a while then it comes right back.
