I just got done with this install on my girlfriend’s jeep and let me tell you if you don’t have exhaust hanger pliers you need to get them it’ll make your life a whole lot easier. It’s still not going to be fun but it’s not the hardest exhaust upgrade to do. The sound is perfect and I would highly recommend buying! Great video by the way.
WD40 on hangers use a quick pliers wrench and you can basically pinch the hangers off. Cost me $0, just takes a little grip strength and they are off in 5 minutes each
Yeah I know that now. I was actually looking at tools on amazon shortly after doing this install, and came across the hanger pliers. I will have a set next time I have to do exhaust work.
Nothing ever goes the way the UA-cam video makes it look. I struggled with the stock exhaust hangers for about an hour. I edited that out because the language involved with that part would have gone against UA-cam standards.

Yeah I wish I had some exhaust hanger pliers. It took a good amount of effort to get the old ones off.
Thanks for this install video…putting my Pypes cat back exhaust on my 16 JKU this weekend and can’t wait
Good luck and enjoy the exhaust. I’m still loving the sound

It is now 2021... how is this exhaust holding up since you installed it, or did you swap it already? Also, did you have the 3.6 engine?
I’m still running this exhaust with a 3.6. It’s held up great so far, and it still sounds great.
I laughed when you came back into frame all sweaty and disheveled and said how much it sucked😂
That stock exhaust kicked my butt man!
If you get a pair of hanger pliers they will come off easily. A little wd40 on the rubber and it will slude right on and off

Looking to buy this for my '15 JKU. what are your thoughts on it now that it's been almost a year since the install?
I still love this exhaust almost 1 year later, and It still sounds amazing.
@@NotICON I appreciate the response! I ended up ordering it and plan on installing it today.
The Clean Caveman that’s awesome! I hope you enjoy it.
Isn’t it always more difficult than you expect?

Can someone please tell me the amount that needs cut off the mid pipe for a 2 door thanks in advance
Did you ever figure it out? I wanted to know before purchase
What’s the best way to loosen the bolt on the front clamp at the Y?
I ended up having to cut mine off with an angle grinder. The kit comes with all new clamps so you won’t re use any stock parts
