I had a $20k rebuild on a 185,000kms 200 series due to dusting. It’s not a debate it’s a fact. The air filters are just as much of a problem as the box itself. Cam, not sure if you are aware of this but if you have the aircon on recirculation when on dusty roads it sucks air in through the seals. Happens on most vehicles. I’ve travelled many NT and WA gravel roads I’ve never kept aircon on recirculation, the only time I switch it over if there is a truck or vehicle that passes me going the other way and I switch it to recirculation for a minute or so before I switch over to fresh air again. I’ve never had a problem with dust ingress doing that compared to other mates who keep it on recirculation. Not sure if this is a common known thing but works for me.
Agree, the dust egress was bad on my LC200, way worse than my LC105. Someone at Cairns Toyota told me your method and the dust issue was a lot better but not perfect. Still worse than the LC105.

We’ve got a Toyota Prado 290,000kms no issues. Bought new 13 years ago. Munja track twice, Gunbarrel once, Great Central 3 times, Gibb 3 times, Tannami once and numerous other gravel roads. Mostly towing a camper trailer and last year towing a small van. Absolutely no problems, regular services.

I have a modified 2015 150 VX 4.0 with all the options pretty much the same as a Kakadu, 3 inch lift on 33s with a Magnuson supercharger kit, throttle body spacer, SS headers and manta exhaust kit, 360hp to the crank @6psi. It was purchased brand new, never has it skipped a beat. Excellent in sand, mud, touring you name it, it's my daily, has over 200k hard km on it, still going strong. Nothing short of a barra swapped vehicle is going to beat it off road.
Yeah, those figures seem fair, but also to be fair, the vehicle is pretty heavy and a lot of mods which including the bigger tyres, and particularly the stuff on the roof which causes a lot of drag, it all certainly adjusts from the standard figures. Fuel economy can be very good if you drive it that way, but who seriously wants to do that all the time...
@@peterwiles8361 I went from a low profile pop top just over 2 tonnes and was getting 14 to 15. Real world speeds. The new van is 2.5 tonnes full height single axel off-road with all the crap on top a/c, solar panels and antenna etc. it is only 2200 wide slightly wider than the 300. Highway/ truck speed around 20 litres per 100. Back road cruising around 16 litres per 100. The gear box and power settings are very good.
@5:50 you need so use the dash air-vent settings on "outside", not recirc, to limit the dust coming in the back (to keep positive pressure in the cabin so the dust doesn't suck in). There's a cabin dust filter in the glovebox so you don't really need recirc at all. Keep the front windows/sunroof closed too - the venturi effect turns your whole car into a vacuum with those open!
Neighbors Hilux just ticked over 830k mixed use as farm truck , tandem trailer hauler country road tourer to City & back. Never any issues aside from normal replacement parts & regular servicing.
in regards to dust in the cab. not sure if your aware but if the air is on recycle on gravel it can cause dust. have it on fresh air and should help by creating positive pressure in cab. our old Pajero use to be bad for that and the 200 now it's getting older.
I've got the same issue with the arb base rack, and wind noise. I've got it on my Y62, and the noise can be unbearable at times. I've got a light bar on the front, 270 awning, and maxtrax angled mounts, and it is loud. I am looking at the wind deflector to try and help, but I think it is because of all the stuff I've got up there. I did have the rhino on my prado before, and never had that much noise. For the scan gauge, can recommend the Scanguage3, if you aren't locked into something iCheck are looking to bring out. Has everything you want, easy to read display, and have found the fuel economy to be pretty accurate on it too.
I had injector on the DPF fail not a great issue and Brian Hilton Wyong fixed it immediately. No oil issues apart from a small amount in the first 10,000 kilometres.
Great review Cam! Enjoy your content and the wife is now onboard too. You always call it as you see it, glad you’re enjoying your choice of vehicle that’s doing the job you want it to.
Also Cam, you should check out the Autophix scan tool - OUTBACK 9360 - Toyota Brand Specific Diagnostic Scanner, have read some very positive feedback and comments on this tool.
My Defender 110 D300 now just over 31000km, and absolutely zero issues up to now. Thanks for your honest review. The world needs more honest people like you. Cheers 🍻
Same here with a D300 and similar km and absolutely no issues. They are a great thing and while i had reservations about land rover before purchasing i am so glad i did. Who knows how it will fare long term but im willing to give it a chance. The only thing Toyota's seem to have going for them anymore is resale value.
Saw Doug Demuro put 60K Miles on one with no issues too. And he picks cars to bits. If it had issues, he'd be shouting them. The new twin turbo v8 would be my choice.
Cam, I’d trust your review over all others. For a premium priced product you shouldn’t be getting error codes, dust in the doors and engine. It certainly doesn’t look like value or quality for your money. Toyotas customer service is wanting also given they tried to bill you for a fault two weeks after purchase. Fuel economy was marginally better than my V8 Y62 Patrol, maybe $3 - $6 per/100 more for me when town driving or towing. My Patrol was $40k cheaper than a GXL and hasn’t let me down once, it’s a stronger build, no dust, has leather electric seats, no annoying electronics needing setting every time I use it. Still, we all have our preferences in vehicles. Enjoy your travels. Great channel.
Cheers mate, yep hearing great things about the 62s! But I’m also on a few of their owners groups and they seem to have their own issues too. There is no perfect vehicle out there sadly, best you can do is find the one that ticks the most boxes for you!
And of course, nobody complains about a lack of interior space in a Y62! With the Harrop Supercharger in mine it has effortless, linear and smooth V8 performance and sounds mint with fuel consumption up by about 1.5l/100km but you forget about it when you drive it. Primarily added for Towing my caravan and it has been handy to have the extra get up and go. Sorry, just got carried away a bit. Cam, I've recently added a Yakima Platform Rack with a Stedi 41" LED light bar at front and while I was expecting there to be some wind-noise I was actually surprised that it wasn't as loud as I would have thought. It does have the transverse slat layout like the ARB Baserack but the slats are narrower and placed closer together with less air-gap in-between.
Fitted it to the whole car on my old Pajero Sport but the thought of having to do it on a $100k car is ridiculous. I’ll hold out and see if the GX550 is any better
Great review!! I just did 25000kms around Australia in a 2021 vx 200 series towing a 20ft caravan. What an absolute weapon! Not to many mods and not one problem! Go Toyota !!! Will wait a couple more years to get a 300 to resolve these issues!! 🤟🏽
Great revue, thanks. I've had a D4 Discovery towing 2.5 tonne Matrix AOR van, and intend doing the round Australia, so I reckon a problem with the Disco would not be easily fixable in W.A. So I am looking at vehicles. I am commenting though about the aero. I am a sailor/yachting guy, and when I looked at the Disco's aero (which is not as sophisticated as the 300) I thought there'd be a high pressure air flow at the front of the roof, and then the pressure would decrease. So I did not put in a full length roof rack. The roof rack sound is muted. I've had a spare tyre down the back of the roof rack, and it made little noise difference. A benefit of the 200's rear doors is that its easy to access the rear of a roof by standing on the tail gate with the top down. So no easy rear access with a 300. On the roof rack again - you wanted lots of solar so you needed a full length roof rack. I reckon a flexible solar panel mounted on a carbon fibre sheet with a hinge is a way to get more solar - use your alternator while driving, then fold it out when stopped. And because its folded over, less dust and no chance of a road train rock damaging the panel. Maybe fold out sideways to create some sun shade on one side of the vehicle. The way a lawn mower handle folds out - with an overlap to rest on when folded out - means it could fold out self supported. Curious about the dust too ... where its thickest may indicate a single source? Dust would drive me crazy. I hope it all goes well for you and that she has a long life. Your family look great and they sure are living an adventurous life.
Great Vid Cam. My 300 GXL is 23,000km old and I agree with a lot of your comments. Hate the LDA, wish you could turn it off permanently. DPF burn is annoying. I also hate that when you are in 4WD modes, you constantly get warning messages come up on the display...I can't seem to turn them off. However, absolutely love mine and very glad I purchased it. I just had to drive a reasonably new Hilux for work on some outback QLD roads, and couldn't wait to get back in my 300 for comfort.
Great video. I do find it odd that you're complaining about wind noise when you've completely changed the external aerodynamics of the vehicle. Apart from that, great review with real world experiences, good presentation and no BS. Well done.
Great honest review cam. Unsure with the 300 but our 200s second row seats slide back and forwards to increase/decrease leg room. Theres a handle just below the swab. We dont do 4wd but do tow our 3.5 van on gravel roads and dont realy have dust issues. Great to hear your happy with the motor and trans. Stay safe.👍
G’day Cam, I’m a little late to this party, but wife Lisa is a big fan, and your practical, balanced and “Everyman” approach to things is refreshing. A couple of thoughts: A. Air cleaner elements become more efficient in filtering out small dust particles as they fill up with dust. Small holes in the filter medium get “plugged” over time. Thus, I’d recommend you consider NOT changing the element every service…. let it run… unless it’s really copping it from very dusty environments. You might also get an Air Cleaner Restriction indicator fitted. I’m sure Donaldson have these easily available. Then ask Toyota what inlet restriction pressure the engine derates? Also, as one follower mentions, try a little rubber grease on the airbox seal to try and confirm whether this issuer is the airbox or the filter?? And look for any dust “tracks”… there should be none. B. Regarding your loss of Auto Cruise Control. We have a 2018 VW Tiguan that occasionally throws a fault in this area and we find bugs / mud on the radar unit. Clean off with a wet wipe, cycle the ignition, fault resets and the ACC works fine again. At least it resets in the VW. C. Dust Entry… as many have said, DON’T use Recirc longer than you have to. Switch back to Fresh to allow the fan to pressurise the car… and keep the dust out. Easy. Cheers and keep up the great content. GobiOne
Nice vid mate, we went with Offroad Animal Scout roof rack because of the wind deflector design at the front - it has zero noise. We love our 300 series.
@@WildTouring word is they are working on one for the 200, so it would make sense to make one for the 300 since they all share the same rear panhard setup.
Hey mate. Love your honesty. Im a toyota die hard having owned an N60 and N70, and driven many 79s, N80s, prados, 200s and even a 105. I must say i agree with you, im 1 year and 20,000ks into my new N80 and while its a fantastic car , the DPF and the advanced driver sensors do scare me a little if they fail. But finger's crossed so far it has been fantastic. Glad to see you like the 300, they look like a great car.
I think the overly complicated tech is unavoidable now hey! But if you stick to the big reputable brands with dealer support all over the country you can’t go too wrong 💪
You can spray lanolin on the door seals to reduce dust entry. Long drives should avoid DPF issues. Is your engine oil 0/20 or 5/30? See Just Autos for reports about engines failing on 0/20.
Yes, highly recommend all toyota 300 owners learn, understand WHY this engine wears prematurely. You also must understand that the oil will get extremely hot due to the “hot V” design. Factors that make it worse are: Towing, Hot conditions, Slow high load conditions like beach work, Peak traffic conditions for extended periods (greater than 15 minutes per day-as in constant stop start). I would change the oil half way. No need for the filter, just the oil and use 5W-40 FS. Jesus-3.3 ton van! Definitely change the oil half way and do not use that watery “oil” 0W-20. U r the owner, not Toyota, they don’t give a shist if your engine wears prematurely. To prove what I’m saying-if you are driving in the above conditions (which you definitely are) take an oil sample YOURSELF, just prior to service and get an analysis done.
had quite a big issue with noise for my roof rack, but tried looping some paracord across the front facing roof rack and it did the trick. The paracord would break the smooth lines that's usually causing the whistling noise.
I dont own a landcruiser, however, yours is a very honest and interesting watch, especially around the scan gauge monitoring, lots of vehicles, in my opinion, suffer with under reading.
Hi Cam, we also own a LC300 towing a 3.5T offroad van around Australia, one issue you seem not to have come up against is build up on the injector which throws are code, turns out it is quite common around 25-30kms, got ours taken care of in Hay NSW, had our vehicle for 2yrs and very happy so far, cheers Les & Denise
Hey guys, I’ve been seeing that DPF injector failure online, but havnt had it myself yet. There was talk of later models having an updated injector (probably the one that you’ve had fitted under warranty). I’m hoping my model already has the updated part! 🤞
Absolutely love your honest review. I’d get the 200 series over this. A big L to Toyota for allowing “software glitches” to have control over the transmission.
Thanks great overview. Our 22 VX has done just over 32,000 and apart from the software recall you mentioned we haven't had any of those issues people discuss on social media as well. And am glad you mentioned that comment about towing. Of course you feel it, so for those that claim they don't....We have a 20ft van and its there but it sits well behind the car.
Great unbiased review. Have a 300 with arb base rack and wind deflector. On it I have installed max track, awning, shovel holder and side lights. No issues with noise at all. I think it's probably the lights in the front of the base rack.
Hey Cam, in regards to the codes that only Toyota can fix. The N80 Hilux suffers from a similar issue. High range on the beach is what causes it…. The Anti collision system is still active in 4 high. If your car moves in the opposite direction to what the wheels are facing the system freaks out, and throws codes. When it freaks out it disables anti collison, lane assist and radar cruise control If you want to drive in 4 High, You have to disable the anti collision in the menu (PCS in the Hilux) which you need to be stationary to do so. But when you turn the car off it resets. Otherwise you can drive in 4Low which automatically turns it off. Pain in the ass I know, hopefully that helps for next time. Cheers 🍻
Hey mate, ive just had the same issue on my N80 Hilux. Is there a way I can remove the code error from my dash after? Or do I have to take it to the dealer. Such a pain with no cruise control on big trips.
Hi Cam, re: dust inside cabin. Do you use recirculate all the time or drive with the windows open ? Try using outside air and keep the windows closed, this will pressurise the cabin and stop dust getting inside, might need fan on speed setting 2 or 3.
Nah as you said on dusty roads I drive with windows closed, outside air on and fan speed around half way. I honestly just don’t think the door seals are much chop!
Hi Cam i have a GX 300 with ARB base rack a discovered my noise was caused by the gap between light bar and rack..fixed it with some heavy duty tape for now.
@@jasonsimpson1969 did you put tape above and below the gap, or just on one side? Judging from Cams comments, even with the deflector, he's still getting lots of noise. Might try this before spending cash on the deflector
Re - dust inside the cab. Do you have your air ventilation on recycle? If so it creates dust ingress. The air intake should be on fresh air as it creates a vacuum inside the cab
Great review. 14l/100klms is same as our petrol 250kw 8 speed Disco, but our heavy towing use is less, so that's interesting. Son's ARB bar paint came off with finger nail scratching! They colour-matched straight over powder coat. Their customer service is crap.
The trax wil be contributing to the roof noise. I suggest testing with the rack bare and slowly adding the accessories back to identify the root cause of the noise.
OBD fusion app and a Bluetooth OBD reader are the way to going for monitoring your temps, it displays through CarPlay so you don’t have to have any more stuff hanging off the dash and if you pay for the app extension is a full system scan tool.

Hey mate. You say you had no cruise because of the fault with the radar cameras etc. Have you tried this. Enable cruise control and instead of pressing the button and hitting set. Hold the cruise enable button down for maybe 3 seconds. This should default you into an old-school cruise (no radar). You may notice the cruise control symbol change on the dash too Atleast you might be able to your cruise again. I don't have a 300, but all other Toyota's I've driven do this. (RAV4 HILUX ETC)

If it all falls in a screaming heap I may go back to a 300, but in a GX format. a few bucks cheaper, maybe!! Again another great video thanks heaps. ;-)
Pretty bang on with the 300 review mate. Ive just clicked over 30k myself and echo most of what you say. In terms of the rack, I run the same base rack as I had the rhino equivalent on my previous daily and the noise was considerbly worse. The base rack (in my opinion) is the quietest option Ive come across, in saying that I opted to not have the top lightbar such as yourself so i do think there's avoidable noise that's gone with just the deflector and no light in front of it.
Yeah the Yakima rack I had on before was way louder, the ARB is an improvement, but still very loud. I bought the light bar off the back of a recommendation from someone that worked at ARB. They said it would help break up and the wind rushing over the top and reduce noise in conjunction with the deflector. I havnt driven it without the light bar so I might try remove it and see how it sounds.
@@WildTouringBit of a process but try removing the roof liner and dynamatting the whole underside of the roof skin. Made a massive difference on my ranger almost dont know anything's up there. it stops the roof skin vibration from the wind turbulence.

Yeah that’s what I’ve always done, and have been doing. But have read some conflicting things on owners groups so will have to have a read of the manual and see what Toyota recommend
Wind noise .. maybe , if your so inclined, drop the hood lining and dynamat the roof area, so many late model cars come with just bare metal in roof .. doors .. ect, I dynamat'ed (if there is such a word ) my FJ Cruiser and I never felt better for overall road noise / wind noise. Yes its a pain stripping the interior of a new car but if you do , simply put you will wish you did it sooner. just my 2 cents worth. Thanks for the informative video mate. Oh if you do dynamat the roof , a tip to also add a thin stick on foam sheeting over top of the matting , with further insulate roof area from sun.
Lane change assist is down right dangerous when towing a van. I’ve seen cars get quite a sway up when the tow vehicle has wrenched the car back where it wanted it and snapped the caravan into a sway.
100% but in our case it was stability control, caught me out massively. Descending down hill, left corner, half way round grabs a hand full of right front brake steering me directly into oncoming traffic, hence of coarse you fight it, then it lets go so the effort you put into fighting it goes thru steering to left and it sets off again, total bullshit, so frightening in the moment. Only one way to describe it "f#@*ING lethal". Once I worked out what occured, stability control OFF immediately each trip with van in tow. If I forget, wife reminds me, one fright 😱 was enough for her 😂
this is the 2.8? There seems to be two air filters from toyota , one standard and one with an extra fluffy layer . Perhaps this is better in dusty conditions , if you don't already have it. There are some chatter about the glow-plugs disintegrate and fall into the engine?
Coming from working at Toyota at Taren Point. The new engine is not ever going to get you to 250,000km. It's not your mans axe like older motors were. A tip? Do double oil changes with a new filter. $100 well spent. Everything works harder and hotter in this smaller turbo motor. Its the same issue with Fords Eco Boost engines. What did my dad buy? A done up MQ Patrol, with the 4.2 N/A diesel. He does recoveries from the Len Beadell areas of WA.
As for dust the Prado is the same even with aircon set to fresh air all the time Had to set the aircon setting on our prado to not auto select Fresh or recirculate or it would auto select recirculate every nown and again.

Hey Cam. Love the review. I have the same car and it threw the same code on the sand up on the Dampier Peninsula. Toyota Broome did the recalibration fix under warranty. They said it happens from being in High range 4x4 but traction control still on. You need to turn the traction control off fully (hold in for 3 seconds) if wanting to drive in high range 4x4 on the sand. That was their explanation and they knew the situation of how it happened before I gave them any information. I have probably done 300kms on the sand since then and no issues so far.
Cheers mate, I’m 90% sure I had Traction/stability control off (I do every time I’m on sand). But I may have forgotten 🤷♂️ Pretty crazy you’ve got to go back to the dealer every time you forget to hit a button on sand though 🤔
Ur right it is. But I figure it’s the necessary evil for owning a new car. I’ve gotten used to it. The bit that annoys me more is when u press the traction control button off it isn’t actually off fully unless you hold down the button, that’s what got me. They could do a better job of how the dash displays that information. I also wonder on the models up whether the sand drive mode disables traction control for you
Doesn’t the car run in 4x4 High all the time and for the most part with the TC on ? Seems a bit strange that it seems to happen when the car is being used in sand. Would it happen if being used heavily in mud ? Cheers
That's a comprehensive review Cam. Good job. 👍 In spite of my "wait and see" trepidation about any new model vehicle, I think you've made a good choice and yes, there is no such thing as the perfect vehicle. I also think these Toyotas will be running long after the big yank trucks have had their day. For what it's worth, my experience with ARB is similar to yours. Their attention to detail leaves a lot to be desired and I would look to another provider if I was starting again.
When I turned all the 'Driver Assist' controls off on my '21 Prado they stay off. I rented a car on holiday where I had to turn it all off every time I got in the car, it drove me nuts.
Very interesting and informative, I came across your site mainly because of all the "hype" going around about the oil usage. I was considering the new Prado, but the 48V battery has put me off the more I think of it, so I have started to consider the VX. I did like the way you presented everything like the air & filters, the DPF, fuel economy etc etc GR8 work, now I have more of Wild Touring to visit 👋
I have a ford ranger and a 20 foot jayco journey outback. I would have to say generally I dont feel the caravan. Unless im going over some epic bad woopies on the road, the only thing i feel is how slow 3 ton makes the car. I often check mirrors and remember im towing.

It was purchased brand new, never has it skipped a beat. Excellent in sand, mud, touring you name it, it's my daily, has over 200k hard km on it, still going strong. Good to see someone give realistic fuel averages. I get pissed off at people telling me they get 14l/100km when towing a 3.3 ton van 🤷♂️
Very true, they’re full of it. What is the fuel economy argument about anyway, competition?
Haha I know right! I reckon some people reset their trip meter when they’re downhill on a tail wind at 90km/h just to brag 🤪 🤣
Haha yep people with 200series towing vans claiming 12L per 100 towing 😂😂😂😂, mate dont piss on my back tell me its raining hahaha

No nonsense, trying-to-impress BS!
Thanks for the share.

A very informative and thorough presentation, thank you
It is easy to sort out the dust in the cabin. Open the vents, it creates a positive pressure in the cabin and keeps the dust out.
Thanks for the honest review.
Sounds like a few to many issues for my liking, particularly at the current price point.
In the wagon on dirt roads at speed you have to keep your a/c on fresh air to keep the cab pressurised, that will help keep the dust out.
Cheers 🍻
Got to be happy with that!
Same here with a D300 and similar km and absolutely no issues. They are a great thing and while i had reservations about land rover before purchasing i am so glad i did. Who knows how it will fare long term but im willing to give it a chance. The only thing Toyota's seem to have going for them anymore is resale value.

Honest straight up review. Thanks Cam!
I'd recommend the CarBuilders sound deadening kit for the roof. It made a world of difference for my wind noise.
Was going to suggest the same as much of a pain it would be to fit it will make a notable difference.
Fitted it to the whole car on my old Pajero Sport but the thought of having to do it on a $100k car is ridiculous. I’ll hold out and see if the GX550 is any better
Thankyou for the update
I just had to drive a reasonably new Hilux for work on some outback QLD roads, and couldn't wait to get back in my 300 for comfort.
when towing you should be looking at EGT. I keep mine below 470DegC when towing.
We chucked a pool noodle under the roof rack to get rid of the noise and it works super well.
I’ve had problems with ARB as well.
Another honest review mate well done.
Great video. I do find it odd that you're complaining about wind noise when you've completely changed the external aerodynamics of the vehicle. Apart from that, great review with real world experiences, good presentation and no BS. Well done.
Old Tojos are the best/less tech less probs/worked for the last 30yrs.
Stay safe.👍
G’day Cam,
I’m a little late to this party, but wife Lisa is a big fan, and your practical, balanced and “Everyman” approach to things is refreshing. A couple of thoughts:

Factors that make it worse are:
Towing,
Hot conditions,
Slow high load conditions like beach work,
Peak traffic conditions for extended periods (greater than 15 minutes per day-as in constant stop start).
Thanks Cam, nice piece and good to learn the way you roll.
had quite a big issue with noise for my roof rack, but tried looping some paracord across the front facing roof rack and it did the trick. The paracord would break the smooth lines that's usually causing the whistling noise.
Try turning the intake of the snorkel around backwards. I found there was a lot less debris (dust and beetles) in the airbox after doing this.
Thanks for sharing your view of the vehicle. 👍

Re dust filter seals .
Smear a bit of grease around the rubber seal .
When it freaks out it disables anti collison, lane assist and radar cruise control
If you want to drive in 4 High, You have to disable the anti collision in the menu (PCS in the Hilux) which you need to be stationary to do so.
FYI you are dead right, high range on beach was what did it.
If this is true it's absolutely crazy that Toyota hasn't fixed it. Like engineered failures that make sure dealers get paid levels of greed.

Hi Cam, re: dust inside cabin. Do you use recirculate all the time or drive with the windows open ?
Try using outside air and keep the windows closed, this will pressurise the cabin and stop dust getting inside, might need fan on speed setting 2 or 3.

As for dust the Prado is the same even with aircon set to fresh air all the time
Had to set the aircon setting on our prado to not auto select Fresh or recirculate or it would auto select recirculate every nown and again.

You need to turn the traction control off fully (hold in for 3 seconds) if wanting to drive in high range 4x4 on the sand. That was their explanation and they knew the situation of how it happened before I gave them any information. I have probably done 300kms on the sand since then and no issues so far.
100 Percent
Cheers mate, I’m 90% sure I had Traction/stability control off (I do every time I’m on sand). But I may have forgotten 🤷♂️
Pretty crazy you’ve got to go back to the dealer every time you forget to hit a button on sand though 🤔
Cheers
How have the Yokohama tyres performed?
That's a comprehensive review Cam. Good job. 👍
In spite of my "wait and see" trepidation about any new model vehicle, I think you've made a good choice and yes, there is no such thing as the perfect vehicle. I also think these Toyotas will be running long after the big yank trucks have had their day.
For what it's worth, my experience with ARB is similar to yours. Their attention to detail leaves a lot to be desired and I would look to another provider if I was starting again.
Thanks mate. Yeah I think for the most part it will be a solid reliable platform 👍🏼
I do have a question, your drawer system I couldn't hear the brand name of it, could you please let me know what it is.
Wild touring perhaps you can wrap the roof? Ronny Dahl wrapped his new 4wd and it stopped the bonnet from flexing when he drip a.
