You have to first start out as friends to see if you're compatible before you become romantically involved which protects you as well as the potential partner. That means, take a step back, do casual dates or activities. Were you honest and open to tell her that you were disappointed in the response which you perceived as rejection? For me, it's hard to know the other person's intentions, so I have to keep mine clear and communicate them openly from the start. I can always take what I've learned from a "failed" encounter into the next encounter. People are complex, so relationships may be complicated by desire, cultural expectations, childhood wounds, perceived needs, not understanding yourself, fantasies, etc. I think what you're trying to say is "Be yourself". That is good advice bc if the other person doesn't like you, he/she doesn't like you... thereby, no need to impress someone who doesn't accept you as you are.☀️

I tried it once. We only took the first 7 questions, but it took us already one hour to go through them. Guess we had long answers that lead to even more discussions. :D I still would love to try the whole experiment someday :)
That is even better. I mean you don't have to finish the whole questions immediately. It means you are both enjoyed it. You still have more to talk about, you don't run out of topics, and that's actually good for you if you both don't get bored of each other. You can continue from last question everytime you meet or hangout if you want to.Take your time, and see where it leads you

You already know your best friend and your loved ones. Chances are you already ate with them before. Pick someone that you've never encountered in real life. A celebrity would be a great choice.
I wish I could go for it on my first date .. I had a pretty bad breakup... I agree that to have a good relationship one must have deep conversation... I'll keep that in mind for next one....

This is actually such a great thing to do because you get to know the person right away!! WOW
These are such good questions to really break the ice not only on a first date.
This idea is quite interesting. Rather than beating around the bush or being somewhat pretentious, asking deep questions immediately is a more effective way to better know someone.

I think most relationships fail because we end up meeting people at the wrong places and for the wrong reasons.
I am going to write these questions down and I'm going to answer these questions for myself 😃 and when I'm ready to start dating again I'm going to ask these questions. I loved this video. It made me smile and I really needed that
Did these questions with my current gf about two weeks into our dating. It did everything to bring us closer together. Many laughs and some tears were shared. I highly highly recommend this for any new couple or even if you've been dating a few months.

I wish I could meet someone in life who is interesting enough to listen any thing you say about yourself and the way you view things...I'm almost next month I'm gonna be 22 years old...Ever since I was a child till now I have never been in love because I'm scared that if I do i might not be able to protect her or gives her the purest form of love she deserves and also scared that she might not be fit to my way of living...but getting this kind of idea to know each other is really a blessing...and one thing I hope that by the time I met my girl if not on earth but may be in heaven or hell, I wish it could be like the scene in movies.
I've seen similar videos. This one is okay. I think it's a good idea to agree to ask and answer questions. Yes, it does help to "weed" out or in a person quickly. Love takes time and becoming friends is the first step. If you don't like someone you probably won't go much further. There are so many questions to ask and you don't want to spend the entire first or second date just asking them. Small talk is an important part of communication too.

Jay, I’m 17 years old. And I’ve been wanting to go through the path of falling in love with myself, and figure myself out (self-awareness). So, I’ve said to myself to not get into any relationships with a girl until then. And, there are sometimes where I feel conflicted by this, where I sometimes I find someone attractive I try to not engage fully and get to know her, because of the fear what would happen with me if I fell in love. Tomonori Tsukayama im going through the same thing but im 10 years older than you!! I figured out way too late in life that you need to work on yourself before you get into a relationship. I had been in some really nasty relationships in the past because i used to hate myself. Now im single and figuring my life out, but im conflicted cuz i met a nice guy, but im not ready to date again... but i also dont want to pass up a good chance at love.

I was never in a relationship (same reason as you). I had some difficult times in my life and my problem is that I don't let people come close to me (if this makes any sense). I have many friends, but I do not talk with them about serious things and with my family it is the same. I need control over things and opening up to others feels like losing this control.
I think we need to learn to open up. Maybe we should ask others about their problems first. And in my opinion it is the most important thing to be honest and tell the people that it isn't easy for us, because we choose to understand us over being in a relationship.

I'm 14 which is quite young to be dating but I met a girl who is very beautiful and sweet and everytime I saw there are so many butterflies in my stomach.... I love her and she also loves me very much I knew that she loved me when one time I did not reached an event which she invited me too and her friends told me that she was very sad and angry of me.... I did not say and do anything and it is right for her to be angry at me .... but after two days she forgave me and told to her friends that she would not let me go .... well her friends told me this .... It's not usually questions or things like that that you wish you had known early on in the relationship. It's deeper things, like I wish I had known that he/she wasn't trustworthy here, or they were like this. It's not trivial things like what famous person do you want to meet but more how does that person handle fame or being around fame. Do they ditch their friends and become someone they are not?
