brown is always live and blue is neutral. in uk homes. as you have used 240 3 amp cable it would of made more sense to have the brown as live. anyone in the future that works on that lighting might presume the brown is live when in fact its not.
Keep the good work up can't wait to see what you do next to your van My van is all in at min bits lol i Got a long way to go yet. The video give me some good ideas 😎👌👍
Hi guys, love your instructional tutorials. You placed a thin layer of foil on the floor but not on the walls of the van. Why was that please? I’d also like to know how you do the sped up bits in your video. Very clever production. Cheers
Hi again, the foil wasn’t placed on the walls as the carpet was stuck straight to the metal work of the van. If the foil was on this surface first it creates a less smooth finish. You can however use som e sound deadening material if desired. The sped up bits are just time lapses that we have taken on the GoPro. Thanks for the positive words!
CruisyCampers ... really enjoying your watching and learning from you both, thank you! I’ve just bought a Caddy so I appreciate your tutorials ... I did wonder if the carpet on the van walls has been warm enough here in the U.K.? as it such a great option also. Cheers!
Hi guys, great channel, love your videos. I’m currently converting my Caddy Maxi as well and was wondering which colour/style of Altro flooring did you use?? It looks really good. Thanks again. 👍👍

What split relay systems have people been running for those with a smart alternator??
I would recommend either the Renogy or victron b2b chargers if you have a smart alternator
Hi. Great vid. Who installed the pop top for you ?
Thanks! It was installed by Westdubs. We’re really happy with the finish
What size flooring did you need?
We used a sheet of 8ft by 4ft 12mm plywood sheet. You will need a bit more if you are covering the side door plastic cover like we did
Heat rises, technically you loose more heat from the roof not the floor
