- Lloyd Baggs(LR Baggs) Interview at NAMM 2024. Chris met up with the legendary Mr Lloyd Baggs at our booth at The NAMM Show in January for a wonderful and fascinating interview. Lloyd talks about his beginnings as a cellist and luthier and how he moved into pickup and preamp design for acoustic guitars; LR Baggs' solid relationship with Alvarez and the new HiFi EQ system that are hosted in our Masterworks and Yairis. Finally Chris and Lloyd talk the new, soon to be released LR Baggs HiFi Duet EQ system. This is one not to miss!

What a FASCINATING interview! I have a couple of Anthems and am very happy with them but the Hi Fi Duet sounds transcendent.
Very insightful and inspirational interview. Just love hearing success stories that reinforce the lessons learned from failure. The story can apply to anyone who dreams and works hard at achieving it. Can't wait to hear the Yairi archtop that has this pickup installed.

Great interview! I'm always interested to learn about the ups and downs of building a business and a brand. So many businesses started on a dining room table or a garage workbench....It is still possible to create a product and build a business, but it takes incredible drive and passion. Makes me want to add the L.R. Baggs system to my guitar.
