If you’re struggling to spot Wally… I have leaked his secret hiding spots on my website 🧐 www.bouldercreekrailroad.com/youtube-videos/paper-kits-have-never-looked-so-good-realistic-scenery-vol-35 I’ll also be adding some of the 3D .STL files to buy from the store. Right now there are a collection of rubbish bins with and without supports. Over the next week I’ll be adding more, as well as some freebies 😉
Wow I looove it! BUT You mad a huge MISTAKE: The car is on the wrong side. :D Only right driving is correct driving ;) Like landing on the centerline, not the taxiway or RWY edge lighting ;) Greetings from a european first officer bra
Hey Luke, been watching your videos for a while now, you work in 1:87 is really neat and it has helped me out a lot in building my model railroad. Speaking of model railroads are you ever going to do a series where you build a layout for all you models?
Oh man, this is stunning to look at. And I adore how these miniatures look in the dark with the tiny street lights and window lighting. The atmosphere becomes mesmerizing.
Poor little dog. At least it has a welcoming lap to sit on. These videos are so wonderful; full of skill and detail. The glazing on the lamps is so cool.
I forgot to look for Waldo. I was too enthralled in watching a miniature scene come together. You do an absolutely fantastic job of building these models. Your knowledge of the hobby is awesome. Great work, Luke. I know your videos will be fantastic.
I'm from the UK and you can find building exactly like this one in pretty much every single town! As you say, all it would take would be changing some of the small details (like the signs and payphone) and maybe removing the air conditioning units from the roof and bam! it's a UK street scene! I've been binge watching your videos recently because your narration is so calming and I love the attention to detail you put into all your builds!! This is another phenomenal scene - well done!!
Your channel is one of my favourites to binge watch. I'll go months and months without watching any then get into it. Building models and scenery is one of my hidden hobbies.
Glad to see you found a Markenburg kit. I have been working with Markenburg kits for a long time as most of them originate from the city of Waalwijk where I grew up in the Netherlands. Most of the builidngs are familiar and it's great to see this particular one in an Australian setting. Awesome job Luke! Greetings from a big fan in the Netherlands.
Ngl this is probably the most realistic-looking diorama I've ever seen. I couldn't wrap my head around it. Each picture looked like you went out and took photos of a busy street.
Luke, your attention to detail never ceases to amaze me! The pictures of this scene from above and all other angles is so incredibly realistic looking! The people figurines are great and I like you only put one car in the scene! Your tutorials are putting the bug in me to get back into model building!
Wow Luke this was an amazing build, the lamp post construction was mind blowing and the finished effect was incredible. more paper builds please! and Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Do you guys genuinely beleive that rectangle brick buildings with shops on the lower floor and apartments above are uniquely Dutch in any way? Essentially every city has them.
I don't believe it, I know for sure this type of building (typical 60's style ) is Dutch. Yes you'll see this in Germany and Scandinavia, but not in the quantity you see it in The Netherlands. And then again, these kind of houses (with the huge windows on both sides) are for sure Dutch.
That static grass depositing thingo was awesome! First time I've seen one and it amazed me how realistic the grass was. Gone are the days of my childhood watching my older brother sprinkling a flat green powder onto PVA for a railway scene!
I would never have taken a 'paper building' seriously before, but that looks pretty good. Those lamp posts, though - very nice! I hope you continue to enjoy making these videos as much as we enjoy watching them! :)
Neither did I until they showed me their kits on a train show around 10 years ago. They are amazing. I have seen other paper/cardboard kits but none are as good as Markenburg.
Wow, what a great tutorial. I love the amount of detail and clear instructions. Your models are inspiring and thanks for explaining the "why" as well as the "how" as you construct them. Please keep on building!
Hi there! This model is incredible of course! But - I want to comment on your pup. If you're unaware, there are "anxiety vests" or "thunder shirts" available. Anxious dogs benefit from a surprisingly tight hug around their chests during thunderstorms or even vet visits. You can do a quick diy for small dogs by cutting off the sleeves of an old T-shirt, layering them, cutting foreleg holes, and pinning the slack on the spine very snug. This will maximize the lap comfort. I hope this is new and useful info! 😊💜
You had me at the dog scared of thunder. LOL. I had a collie who was the same way. However, unlike your dog sitting in your lap, my dog would cower in the corner and incessantly drool. Drool so much that I would always have to place a towel on the floor to keep the floor from getting saturated. Poor thing, he was so sweet. I miss him. :(
Aw poor doggy 😢 My two boys are terrified of thunder too. And fireworks. And airplanes flying over. It breaks my heart. Stunningly impressive project as usual!
Luke posting a new video is like the cherry on top of my day. Thank you for everything you do in this hobby! And thank you so much for bringing us along!!!
Another fantastic diorama tutorial by Luke. His skill, creativity and attention to detail are just amazing. Thanks Luke for sharing these wonderful videos!
Good day Luke Towan. Paper Kits Have Never Looked So Good? Realistic Scenery? Indeed! Exceptional craftsmanship. Very well done! Greets & respects from Cape Town
This is railroading? WOW. Been decades since I've looked into it, and this is simply stunning work. I mean, it's photorealistic, and I'm hard-pressed to tell if it's real or not. Incredible!
This model is so unrealistic! A manhole cover where the lines line up? Outrageous! I am still in awe of your skills. It has inspired me to start a few miniature kits myself, and I am having a blast!
As much as I enjoy these build videos, I must say...My true love of your channel is your terrain videos. Something about the creeks and the folks fishing off rocks and the little fences! Dang. If I ever could do it, I'd do a train build but use like mountainous and the rolling wheat fields of the Columbia Basin here in the Northwest of USA.
I am impressed with the quality of the building. It is hard to believe it is a paper model This diorama is great, there is so much to see and it is very realistic. Thanks for sharing this.
I’m really new to model kits an there’s always so much to learn watching different videos seeing different ways people overcome obstacles. I really want to build a gundam diorama but I need a few more things before I want to start. I really liked that grass thing that made the standing grass that little extra detail is nice
Incredible work, as usual! The only detail I would change is the manhole cover with the road stripe on it. When workers replace the cover, they NEVER line up the stripe! 😄
A fantastic result as always. The method of creating street lamps I am definitely using. I bought some lamps with LED's but the posts are not totally straight. Using that Stainless capillary tube will ensure they will be. Love your work mate. 👍
While this build looked alright when finished, all the details that were added by you really is going to help sell this model to people who want to give it a go. Things like all the pipes and roof work done is just amazing, even little things like supports for the awning just knock it out of the park. And OMG those lamp posts just looked absolutely gorgeous! Definitely feel like you almost have to a have a 3D printer to make things look good though.
Fun fact is that these kits are all of real buildings and have information about it on there site. Some I have looked up in Google Earth and there I could see how they look in the real world and they are very realistic. Some very old buildings no longer exist but were there once. Great work on this on.

I think the next video you should make the apartment buildings nice on the website looks awesome
Wow I looove it! BUT You mad a huge MISTAKE: The car is on the wrong side. :D Only right driving is correct driving ;) Like landing on the centerline, not the taxiway or RWY edge lighting ;) Greetings from a european first officer bra
Please make a combo pack for the manhole cover and the street drains, i've been searching everywhere for a .STL for drains.
I'd love to see you make a bunch of abstract plants like tree ferns and vines
Hey Luke, been watching your videos for a while now, you work in 1:87 is really neat and it has helped me out a lot in building my model railroad. Speaking of model railroads are you ever going to do a series where you build a layout for all you models?
I won't lie...
Seeing your dog made me smile
Oh man, this is stunning to look at. And I adore how these miniatures look in the dark with the tiny street lights and window lighting. The atmosphere becomes mesmerizing.
4:12 Aww the poor terrified pooch that shakes like leaf ! He's cute and I want to hug him to make his fear go away.
Poor little dog. At least it has a welcoming lap to sit on.

Agree 1000%
What a lovely doggy and a caring companion to comfort him/her.

Needs graffiti tho.
UK = rundown ugly garish vulgar shabby
Change the Brumby's to a Gregg's and good to go 👍
@@msmith2961 And the milk bar to a kebab shop or Cash Converters.
i was just about to say that the kit has a dutch streetname and it a very typical dutch building and indeed you whould also remove the aircon here
You have the patience of Job. I totally enjoyed watching this video. Very relaxing watching you at work.
Your channel is one of my favourites to binge watch. I'll go months and months without watching any then get into it. Building models and scenery is one of my hidden hobbies.

Yeah those models are fantastic, they look exceptionally lifelike especially the poses.

7:55 i find it funny and realy awesome that on the left you see the instructon in dutch....as a dutchman myself ....this brings me joy
I love when he makes grass! The building turned out great! So much care is taken in all the details!
Greetings from Boulder, Western Australia!! Absolutely hot & humid here today so it's lovely to sit in the aircon and watch your vids.
That Crystal Clear application was very impressive.
Luke Town, BBM1930s, Evan Daes... The greats of railroad modelling
That trick with lamp post glass was amazingly cool.
one of the most realistic layout i ever seen, i love it, thanks for sharing
I'm Dutch so it's nice to see that you're using a typical Dutch apartment-block with stores on the ground floor.
Same here, funny and cool to see a typical Dutch building.
Do you guys genuinely beleive that rectangle brick buildings with shops on the lower floor and apartments above are uniquely Dutch in any way? Essentially every city has them.

Gotta love 1960s Dutch blue collar architecture, nearly spot-on on the surroundings too. :)
When I think I have seen every skill and technique that could blow my mind, you my man, do something super amazing again! This is absolutely gorgeous!

This build looks amazing, I love how much detail you put into your work. And I hope your pup is ok after the thunder.

Mate , you never fail to amaze me my friend , haven't given any thought to paper models since the shockers of the 80's , Great stuff Mate ...
I applaud your patience and skills. Well done.

Hello! You're a genius! Thanks to you, I started modeling two years ago! Greetings from Argentina!
Those 3d colour printed people are awesome! Fantastic diorama!
Your eloquent narration is so soothing. Your models aren’t too bad either 😉
Cute dog too!!
Another great video, as always! You really are the Bob Ross of scenery building! I am always looking forward to a new video!
Back in my day there was a modeler named Malcolm Furlow and Luke is as good if not Better
Have an exceptional new year!
Take care, and all the best.

Just thinking a day or two ago that I hadn’t seen an alert for your video. Today, another fabulous and realistic model. Thanks!!!
I applaud the patience that you have for these types of projects. Kudos!!!
Another fantastic build
When I saw the preview on Patreon, I thought "Hey that looks almost like a typical Dutch shopping street!"
Thank you once more kind Sir.
Poor doggy, at least he had you to comfort him/her
Fantastic looking model, Luke...and I can relate to modeling around a needy K9 friend. 🤣 Thanks!
WOW. So many great details. Love this
Fascinating, artistic, meticulous. I am new here, first time watching. I am impressed. 😊
This is railroading? WOW. Been decades since I've looked into it, and this is simply stunning work. I mean, it's photorealistic, and I'm hard-pressed to tell if it's real or not. Incredible!

Awesome workmanship
Find your vids so satisfying to watch. Admire your attention to detail as well 👍

Hello from the Palouse :)
Awww, your dog is such a cutie 🥰... By the way, you do amazing work. Best in the business, I believe...
I am impressed with the quality of the building. It is hard to believe it is a paper model This diorama is great, there is so much to see and it is very realistic. Thanks for sharing this.
You should get you pup a Thunder Shirt/Jacket it might calm him during the storms. Great project as always Luke!! 👍👍
Watching your videos is pure pleasure!
I only spotted him twice without any help (spot 4 & 6). Great review of these building kits and well assembled. final diorama looks great!

As usual a most informative quality video!
Thanks for the ideas you bring to my humble dioramas. Your world at H0 scale is amazing. Cheers from Madrid, Spain.
Awesome as always
This is absolutely amazing! Your attention to detail is fabulous!
Cool to see how you turn a typical older Dutch aparments in something that totally looks in place in Australia
I've never seen a streetlight that small. Very impressive how you use lights
A fantastic result as always. The method of creating street lamps I am definitely using.
I bought some lamps with LED's but the posts are not totally straight. Using that Stainless capillary tube will ensure they will be.
Love your work mate. 👍
I suppose after a year on the escalator a nice paper kit is just the thing!
I hope he does another outside diorama its actually been a while since outdoor scenery!
That's really impressive, it really looks real
Great build. I had no idea a paper kit could look so good. Thanks for sharing
Great work as usual Luke. Thanks for a fascinating year of viewing. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Now I gotta wait 10 hours to watch this after work! Earmarking 😄👍
Amazing and detailing job congratulations my friend
You probably have heard it a million times, but i've got to say: impressive work!
That looks amazing. So lifelike 👍
Love the lights in the building! Would you ever do another bob ross one? With like a watermill? Or little cabin? 😊😎
Beautiful work!!

Amazing and mesmerizing as always. Thank you Luke!!
its been a while since the last video , great to see a new one
Fascinating! I have not seen this before. It was very cool watching you go through the process.
Wow.. paper kits have come a long way!!! This looks amazing, Luke!
Luke, you never fail to amaze. Thanks for sharing the process with everyone. 😊
Wow wow wow, bloody amazing. Love it, fantastic work.
