Followed your instructions and I changed mine without any problem, many thanks..........Guys just so you know the screw fitting holding the servo head on is a "TORX" type with a protruding nipple (on my 2015 UK spec), you will need the female version to undo it.
Thanks for your help. I saw some forums on the net saying that you can get the error light on if the servo does not have the cables attached with the motor.
Thanks bro, this video contains very good instructions how to unmount stock exhaust and to install aftermarket exhaust. I'm gonna mount two brothers on my z800 next week by myself. :)
+Fabrizio Vecchio its the actuatorforthe exhasts valve, I removed the valve cables and then put the small pully back on so it still moved and didnt cause an engine light to come on.
Hi, i followed the video instructions which very extremely helpful, however my engine warning light still came on. how can i resolve this without having to buy the servo buddy?
JJ I think I must of accidentally twisted the motor when tightening it back on. I've twisted it with some pliers and the light has gone off. Fingers crossed all will be ok
I also keep getting an engine light but only randomly when riding, if I rev hard after 8k rpm the mechanics at ridenow said my exhaust system should had come with a plate to help trick the servo. But I have never heard or read any of that anywhere
It opens up a second outlet for a more free flow at higher RPM. It is all about noise regulation, and is a way to keep noise under control for the test and compliance, but also allow a high flow at full throttle.
Hey, is the orange Colour on your Display the ABS? Also got an SC Project and wanna do it like You in your Video, but don’t want the motorcontrol lighting After Montage :/ Would Not be so good :/
I left the exhaust valve actuator fitted and just removed the valve and cables. There is no lights, engine check, ABS or another light that comes or stays on.
Roderick Cavallo No, its only there to meet noise laws. I didnt notice any difference, it just sounds better and probably breaths a little better at redline.
+Shahrul Ekran you have to leave it actuating but remove the cables. Or you will get a fault light on the dash. You can buy a dummy to replace it with. That's another option.
after reading some comments i see a lot of people are wondering about this haha. So the valve is there but no cables to move it? does it just stay in the open position?
+Peter Zwegat Quality is outstanding. Its made in Italy and SC provide exhausts for MotoGP etc. Its real carbon. That part of the reason I bought it, its something like 6Kgs lighter than the factory one.

Hi, just to confirm (4.12) as long as you replace the servo header you won't have the red warning light? do you re-fit any other cabling?
Many thanks.

Its a piece of cake. Only took about 1/2 hour or 45 minutes.
I will try myself, gonna mount two brothers next week....:)
Thank you, great video, but when you remove the cables (or wires) from the exhaust valve do you have a fault reported to the dashboard?
NO as I left the actuator on and just removed the cables. As long as it can cycle at startup it wont show the error.
what plate number bracket do you using?
what exhaust do you using right now?
thanks
i find it funny how u was so silent through the whole video
i was expecting at least a ''YES!'' when u turned the engine on hahaha
you've never had problems with the red light fi ?
flashing removing the original exhaust system with valve ?
No. You leave the servo motor in place. This takes care of the warning light.
Yup, as long as you are not distubing actual servo motor position, its not gonna thow any lights.
Hello, I would like to ask you what you take away the minute 4:30? Do the same when you finish installing the new drain? Thanks
+Fabrizio Vecchio its the actuatorforthe exhasts valve, I removed the valve cables and then put the small pully back on so it still moved and didnt cause an engine light to come on.
+Marli2 Thank you very much
hi, do you get the engine warning light on? since the exhaust does not have a butterfly valve in the exhaust? Thanks
No. I left the Servo motor on so it still thinks it's there. You can get a dummy as well to make the bike think the Serco is still there.
hi, i wanted to know if changing the exhaust your bike lost power, or rather, at low rpm it's not more responsive as before
Thank you Bro from Germany!!!
Do i need any special security bit to remove the servo motor screw? Or is it just regular star bit.
So this is just a slip on? No need to remapping? Or install a power commander? Thanks
Hi, i followed the video instructions which very extremely helpful, however my engine warning light still came on. how can i resolve this without having to buy the servo buddy?
buswell9 I just left the actuating motor and the cable disk thing in place and got no engine light.
JJ I think I must of accidentally twisted the motor when tightening it back on. I've twisted it with some pliers and the light has gone off. Fingers crossed all will be ok

Danke für die super Anleitung hab mein Hurric Pro 2 locker und ohne Probleme montieren können 👍👍
are you need to tune the bike or is fine like that
thanks for the video
Nope, I didnt. Being electronically controlled it should adjust. You still have the O2 sensor etc.
I think it needs retune otherwise you gonna have a exhaust popping sound
Do u actually need a PCV to tune the a/f?
With baffle in / out...
Great vid I'll use this. You thought about doing the full system?
Any updates on how this exhaust has been for you over the years?
What is the purpose of servo? Just noise regulation?
It opens up a second outlet for a more free flow at higher RPM. It is all about noise regulation, and is a way to keep noise under control for the test and compliance, but also allow a high flow at full throttle.
6:47 is that the cataliser aswell?
MotoDanKZ no, the cataliser sits right behind.
20SeVn - So it wasn't removed then?
MotoDanKZ No, only if you buy/use an Full exhaust system. In this case, it's a Slip on. Cat. stays
20SeVn - Thank you very much for your answer! 😁
MotoDanKZ no Problem Mate ✌
Hey, is the orange Colour on your Display the ABS? Also got an SC Project and wanna do it like You in your Video, but don’t want the motorcontrol lighting After Montage :/

I left the exhaust valve actuator fitted and just removed the valve and cables. There is no lights, engine check, ABS or another light that comes or stays on.
9:02 orange light. ABS? i will do it excatly like you in the video. so it must work? :)
Kawano it did for me.
JJ's Adventures okay, Thank You :)
For your interest the Z800E doesnt have a servo motor, so you dont have to do anything besides changing the exhausts.
Thanks.. on the Z800 you just leave the motor connected and it’s all good.
@@jjsadv I took it apart but there s no motor in it. Just empty space
Hi again, removing the valve from the exhaust, did it effect the engine performance? In low reves? Thanks
Roderick Cavallo No, its only there to meet noise laws. I didnt notice any difference, it just sounds better and probably breaths a little better at redline.
Great thanks. Any recommended online sites where i can purchase? Thx
Roderick Cavallo I got mine for this importer in Australia motoroar.com.au/about-sc-project.html
i heard that if u pull too strong oin the wires something breaks... but your whole exhaust hang on the wires?
what the fuck are you on about
at 3:32 what do you call that thing and whats the use?
It actuated the calve that is in the stock exhaust. It's not needed with the exhaust. But some so use it.
+Justin oic. can i just remove it along? or do i have to just unplug the cables?
+Shahrul Ekran you have to leave it actuating but remove the cables. Or you will get a fault light on the dash. You can buy a dummy to replace it with. That's another option.
+Justin owh now i know thanks alot! 😁 great video mate!
what is that wire on the exhaust???
what's the brandname of the mirrors?
hey there, how much additional bhp does this pipe make? looking at getting me one. cheers, safe riding :)
Only a couple of HP, but you lose a lot of weight. The factory exhaust is heavy.
muito bom mecânico , essa é o meu sonho de conssumo em breve .
Great video! Exhaust looks and sounds awesome. So is your butterfly valve gone now?
after reading some comments i see a lot of people are wondering about this haha. So the valve is there but no cables to move it? does it just stay in the open position?
Jesse Rueda the drive motor remains so you don't get an error. But the butterfly valve is gone.
JJ oh i see, awesome thanks for the reply
Thank you for this Video, it helpt me .....
No problem. Glad it was of use.
💪💪💪
Awesome bike and a great exhaust. How is the quality of the sc? Is it just a carbon look or is it real carbon? Thanks for your answer
Ride safe
+Peter Zwegat Quality is outstanding. Its made in Italy and SC provide exhausts for MotoGP etc. Its real carbon. That part of the reason I bought it, its something like 6Kgs lighter than the factory one.
ah! BTW it´s a nice pair of side mirrors you got on the bike. congratulations
I need this project
사면도 정보 공유 부탁드립니다.
no need to modify the idle of the bike?
Nope, no need.. It's electronic fuel injected with o2 sensor, it works it out.
***** hi so there is no need for adjustment of the injection mapping ?
Bravo mon gars et bien joué et merci pour cette vidéo ;)
*Cost...?*
I cant remember, but I seem to think around 800 AUD
JJ's Adventures 😂 thank you...
Actually, I see in the description I paid 550 AUD so a bit cheaper.. It was a while ago.
Already have an Akra but a good video "how to" :) Good job.
They are a good exhaust. Just a bit ugly.
amazing vídeo!!! thank you bro!!!!
so I see the check engine light
it's on
Maybe if the engine isn't running. But not. The lights functions as normal.
This a good video, thank you
Very good
excellent !!
Nice!

Chinese exhaust....the oficial comes with a label not ansticker. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Fernando Sanroman haha. Nope official. It was a good system when I had that bike. Loved it. It was made in Italy.
what size is it in the inlet of the slipon?
