@@mkallback4087 i recently installed new Gpr exhaust, just like yours. For some reason, when i give a a sudden rev, it makes some sort of rattle noise, which it think is coming from exhaust core inside. I am trying to see if it is normal or i got the defective exhaust.
Hi, did you get a warning light in the dash after removing the wires for the exhaust valve? Or did nothing happen? Been thinking about installing a slipon myself, and I see people recommend getting a exhaust servo buddy to avoid the warning light. Thanks in advance :)
Hi. Nothing happend, no warning light or any other strange indications. It just worked as it should. If you remove the catalyst I guess you will have a warning light appear, but as long as you just change to a slip-on its no problem. :)
Kvarre as long as you are not distrubing the actual position of servo motor while removing cables, you should be good. Ecu thinks that cables and servo valve is still connected. If you force too much or turn the screw too much on top of servo motor that will thow check engine light right away.
NavyBluntChris No I have not tuned it afterwards. It runs like a dream. The slip-on connects after the catalyst. If I have changed the whole system and skipped the catalyst I definitively would tune it for best optimization.
Did you notice any rattling noise from exhaust when reving the bike without any dbkillers?
Nope, no rattling noice, Everything is tight. Just the epic sound of a G.P. R :)

If i rev smoothly, then rattle noise doesnt come, but sudden rev does make that noise
Do i need any special security bit to remove the servo motor screw? Or is it just regular star bit.
No special tool is needed. Its just a regular screw, i dont remember if it is a star (T) or a philips screw though, but nothing special.

Did you have to get a tune for this slip on? If not, hows the bike running?

M Kallback Thanks for the reply.
