@@AnInkGuy Yeah I am going to put it in my Noodler's Ahab and Conklin with stub nib to see if any difference. With medium nib it just looks mostly grey/black.
I don't think so. Diaimine os fairly consistent in the viscosity of their inks. Fairly consistent being that most all fall in the normal to a little wet range.
@@joeringer4373 "Wetness" as perceived in use has more to it than just viscosity. It also depends on surfactants and other substances in the ink that aid flow. A lot of inks that are quite watery end up feeling rather dry. Drier brands in my experience: Lamy, Callifolio, J. Herbin (regular line, not the premium Herbin line), Kyo-no-oto. But of course, inks can be different from color to color and most brands aren't completely consistent. I always buy or trade samples before committing to a full bottle of ink whenever possible.
@@joeringer4373 There are dry ink in other brands. Very dry inks aren't as common to come across. There are some dry inks that will be coming up in next years reviews. I haven't been choosing inks based on how wet or dry, I have been trying to focus on certain brands of ink for a years videos. But, I haven't found a brand that is dry very often. I have found some dry inks though. Private Reserve Clater is a dry ink, for example.
Here are the Direct links to the complement ink that I think looks best with this:

Looks like this might be close to the legendary Montblanc Racing Green.
When I fell in love with the color of Noodler's El Lawrence but hated its bratty behavior, I found Diamine Salamander a nice alternative.
You are spot on, this is VERY close to El Lawrence. I had the same problem with El Lawrence, loved the color hated the behavior.
Thank you this kind of analysis is exactly what I was looking for!
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for this, I really like that shade of green.
Your welcome,
I was sitting on the fence about this color, until your review. I really like Diamine ink; just needed a nudge on the Salamander. Thank you!
Glad I could help!
Recently got this ink. Not sure if it is just me but looks pretty much black and grey to me. Hardly getting any green.
It is a very dark murky green. The flow of the pen and nib size will change is a bunch.

Nice color!
It is unique among the green inks.
Would tswbi eco be a good pen for this ink?
Absolutely
Are there any dry Diamine inks? Alll I have or am interested in seem to be wet.
I don't think so. Diaimine os fairly consistent in the viscosity of their inks. Fairly consistent being that most all fall in the normal to a little wet range.
How about other brands? Thanks.
