Very nice ink. Overall, while I am very particular about most of the ink colors I look for, I think I am most critical about blues. Perhaps because it is such an ordinary color for ballpoints, I always look for something very special. This is very nice, and reminds me of the Herbin columbine (pigeon) blue though I don't believe the Herbin shades as much.
I understand why many people, me and you included, are very critical of blue inks. It is often the ink color we used the most growing up. It DOES mean for me that then a blue has to work harder to impress me. Years of looking as blue writing makes you want other colors.
Would you say the camera heightens shading? Because I often see shading where you say there is none, so it must be that the camera sees stuff the eye doesn't? This happened to me with vitta's videos, too.
I do think the camera hightens a bunch of shading. As hard as I try to get as color accurate as possible, the video doesn't look as good as the in person. There is just getting it perfect.
Hello Adam! Would you use this ink on a vintage pen? I like the color better than Waterman Serenity Blue, but I would like to convince myself that it is just as easy to clean. Do you think it would be a good substitute?
Here are the Direct links to the complement ink that I think looks best with this:
Diamine Oxblood

Yes, absolutely. I think Diamine as a brand is safe for vintage, I 've had no issues with their inks.
Thank you Adam! This helps me a lot! :)
