I think I’m going to buy this ink. Depending on how I like diamine ink I think I’ll buy diamine red dragon. Both are beautiful inks! Great review, very clear and gives good examples!
Just got a sample of Oxford Blue after hearing you mention it so many times! Wow, I already love it after just seconds of putting it to paper. What a great color and performance!
I normally don't write in blues but this is one of the ones that I keep looking at because I think it's a pretty nice shade. I might have to take the plunge and get a 30ml next ink run. Thank you for the review!
My current favorite „standard“ blue currently is Pilot Iroshizuku Asa-Gao. Nice a bit darker blue with occasional red sheen or red hues, when it did not quite make to be sheen. :) I like that the sheen is rather rare. :)
i usually go for true blues and turquoises a lot more than darker blues but If I was ever gonna use a dark blue or a "work" blue I would have to pick this one.
I adore Diamine Inks and yes, in the US it can get expen$ive! HOWEVER, Cult Pens in the UK has amazing prices. *Even with* shipping added, I can get a 30ml bottle at roughly 1/3 to 1/2 off regular US price. I suspect that Cult Pens can do this because Diamine is made in the UK and as such, they have the home court advantage. I realize shipping charges can be a ghastly depending on where you live relative to the UK, but if you are fortunate to live close enough so that you can get the same ink purchased and shipped for under retail price at home, why not give this vendor a try?
taimdala I agree. I use Cult Pens for a lot of my ink purchases. To get it shipped to Australia is expensive, but they are an excellent retailer with good service and a great range.
@@theoffstageme i don't have one yet, the R&K royal blue that i bought is supposedly waterproof, but its so vibrant on the page that it hurts my eyes! That's why I am watching so many ink reviews. when i find one i will let you know.
John-Allen D'Uskglass if you are interested, check out my review of Noodler’s Navy. I show that, and a couple of other water-proof blues and put them to the test
I wonder if diamine will ever make a line of 'Ox' inks where the inks consists of very saturated colors similar to the saturation of oxblood and oxford blue.
It's certainly a good choice. Oxford Blue is my favourite 'every day' ink. It spends a lot of time in my Lamy 2000 with a medium nib as it is my number one pen for every day use too. Other great inks I use for this include Diamine 1864 Blue Black, and a couple of the Monteverde Noir series.
I enjoy all your reviews, but I think your ink reviews are among your best. They are thorough and methodical yet full of wonderful descriptions.
Ed Reilly thank you so much. I love doing ink reviews. They are among the least viewed on my channel... but they are what interest me the most.
Mick L it shows! I hope you keep making them.

Xandario Red Dragon is another wonderful Diamine ink. Excellent choice

It never fails to disappoint. There is something unique in the colour for sure

This is one of my all time favorite inks. Beautiful deep blue.
I have this ink and like it very much. Another blue ink I'd recommend if you like this one would be Organics Studio - Santiago's Sea Blue.

If I did not have Regency Blue I would get this shade. Nice review, Mick

Great Video. I have a perfect Casey pen for this to go into.
very good blue, just would like it waterproof. great review
John-Allen D'Uskglass what’s your favourite truly water-proof blue?

My very favorite blue ink!
I'm more a blue black guy but dang it, okay, I'll give this one a shot.
If I'm looking for a every day note taking good saturated deep ink in lamy2K medium, is Oxford blue a best choice?

@@theoffstageme Thanks a lot. Can you please suggest me any moderate water resistant and safe, dark blue ink for my Lamy 2000 pen ?
Very nice review!
Good review to which I totally agree.
