Great video, well done for completing. 👍. Wondering if I can ask some advice. Based on a little research and watching your videos, I have purchased an AKASO EK7000 action cam. However, I am having difficulty downloading..I have the app, and also it has split the film into 15 minute segments which take about 55 minutes to download each one.Cant figure out how to make one continuous film that downloads quicker.I have a recumbent trike and have decided to film my rides, although if you watch then under “Neil’s recumbent trike trips”, be careful, they even put me to sleep, so I need to practice..😅
Hello Neil, seen your post ..wondering which app you are using to transfer the footage from the Akaso.? I still make all my vids using classic windows movie maker on my laptop., I dont upload from a phone ..the app i use is I smart DV to transfer files to a phone then to my laptop.. all individual. Ive not used a video maker using my phone yet. Are you using the I smart DV app for the Akaso transfer.? I know there was an alternate one but cannot remember the apps name.. ?🤷🏼♂️.. probs a lot on here that are way more tech savvy than me lol .Mark.
@@markredfox73 thanks I appreciate that, I have tried the AKASO app that it recommended when you download the so called instructions. But I will try what you suggest . I have found that the easiest way at the moment is simply to put the card into the laptop and download direct to the laptop, only problem is the time it takes to download, so at the moment I will use both my phone and the AKASO until I get used to it. Yes thats what best thing to do..lots of vid apps on phone only have certain limits.. so yeh laptop is your best bet but try that app i mentioned and see how u get on with it..it transfers pics too. I saw your vids late last night, you have it set up nicely done on the front, sound is good on the akaso...check out and see if there is a " riding" scene mode on it which i used.. think its designed more for fast moving..Now you can perhaps help me..well its for an individual who i support. He is after a recumbent bike having tried them out at Watchtree ..what should i look for and where could i possibly go to a shop that sells em ..hopefully locally.i know theyre pricey though.cheers Mark. PS superfast broadband really does make a difference uploading...but not everywhere has it in Cumbria.
@@markredfox73 thanks again, the recumbent is great fun but not cheap, I was lucky as I got mine off a guy in Keswick who had bought another and the one I bought was about a year old and like new. The nearest shop is either in York and there is one in Glasgow I think, bike shops around here don’t stock them . You can get them direct from ICE, who make them and they are based in Cornwall. But, there is quite a long waiting list for a new one. Best is to search on eBay or join some online recumbent trike sites on Facebook and put a post on asking of anyone is thinking of selling one. It all depends on how much he wants to pay and what standard is required. ICE are one of the best . Also if going for e-assist then that adds about £2000 to the price . Hope that helps but happy to answer any other questions
