- I walk around the souk of Aswan, in Egypt. First, I meet a guy who follows me to try to sell me some fruits. Then I keep exploring the market, I buy some wonderful mangoes, then I have a lovely sugarcane juice, before finishing the video eating some very good Egyptian street food.

18:08 Yves tastes the food with a fork and then places the fork in the dish. The worker then uses the same fork Yves put in his mouth to make him a sandwich and then returns the fork back to the bowl he will serve his other customers from.
And just before that the guy touches the food with his fingers haha
And just after he handles the bread with his bare hands, he handles the money.

I used to spend 2 weeks a year in marrakesh. The souk was nice for max 1 hour then you need to run out.

All over the city there are large pockets of Muslims of different nationalities or sect .The Arabic food stuffs are sold in grocery stores, markets, butcher shops, patisserie and coffee shops or restaurants . All Arabic countries are represented! The food, drinks and sweets are delicious. Great video!😁🇨🇦

انها تجارة والامر يتوقف على موافقة المشتري له الحق ان يرفض ان رأى السعر باهظا.
الشطارة ما تحط السعر على هواءك في اي محل بيع في العالم تحصل هناك اسعار ثابته في مينيو عرض الأسعار توضح الأسعار للفقير والغنى ولكن ان ترى شخص معين وتقوم بزياده السعر على هواك فهذا يسمى التلاعب بالأسعار انا مره كنت في مصر وركبت تكسي وكان راكب في المقعد الأمامي مع سائق التكسي سيده وانا جالس بالخلف ولما أتيت انا أحاسب التكسي بعد أن وصلت إلى وجهتي سألني سائق التكسي انت من أين فقلت له انا من البلد الفلاني فقالت السيدة اتركه يدفع اكثر عندهم فلوس كثير ليس كل المصريين بتلك العقلية في ناس جدا طيبة ومحترمه ولكن فيه ناس ينظرون إليك كأنك بنك متنقل وفي الاخير مصر بلد جميل جدا وشعبه أجمل وطمع موجود في كل بلاد الدنيا ليس في مصر فقط ولكن بالعموم يجب التعامل مع الغريب مثل ابن البلد القرش والقرشين ما راح تغنيك الحلال يغنيك عن المكر والخداع والغش. @@midoelhawi8633

Salaam! I have noticed how exploitive my people are and it is by far embarrassing. I would like to mention the reason behind such demeanour. Firstly, the unprecedented high inflation rate and exorbitant prices have led to more poverty in Egypt. The majority already cannot make ends meet, so how about such a thing with meagre salaries. Egyptians are not accustomed to different cultures because of the educational system. Most of us don't speak any languages other than Arabic and this creates a bubble of seclusion and unintended intrusion. Pardon us please and I really love this channel. I look forward to watching more vlogs to learn about others and coexist even virtually. I also have my own blog on WordPress

Of all the Arab countries I found the people in Jordan very nice, super sweet people with a big heart. The country is also well developed with mordene shopping malls, In Egypt I have been ripped off several guys myself, and they mainly see you as a walking wallet lol. Be safe, I heard you want to go to South Africa eventually, hope you stay safe, because South Africa is very dangerous.
Among all Arab nations , Egypt is famous for having lots of Comedians and Scammers , but there are also good noble Egyptians , the second fruit seller is a good guy , he sold the Mangoes for 20 Lira while it should be 21 , the price of the Kilo is 16 , he sold one kilo and quarter for 20 instead of 21 and without showing that to brother Yves .
Have you interacted with other arabs to make your judgment? Or you just judged the arabs because of these dramatic videos.As an Arab , I tell you the arabs are most hospitable and the kindest and most honest . You cannot make a judgment without interacting with them and generalize them because of few incidents . Btw, the Egyptians( I am not Egyptian ) are very welcoming people .
