Crazy how a country with so much tourism potential is so badly managed
The men tried to tell you that you must go to the gate and pay for a ticket but they don’t speak English so you don’t understand them.
Egypt is very beautiful for sure but you need to know a tour guide or an Egyptian friend if you know a tour guide your trip will be easy and organized and also because this is anew place for you so you don’t know a lot about it.
You can go to the downtown, the pyramids and other places.
Finally welcome to Egypt I hope you enjoyed.
Let a military regime run a country for 7 decades.. and you get this mess. We deserve better than that.
@@tohotmosiii7898 every person wants the best for his or her country but You can find a lot of beautiful things in Egypt for sure.
Most people wouldn't even dare drive a car in Cairo, and you rode a trike through it! Kudos to you brother 👏
u got some balls man! i love what u do to document all of this amidst everything u have to go through
I couldn't stop laughing when the dogs started chasing you
Yves you are doing a great job with showing us the places you visit and your positive happy personality is wonderful. I pray God keeps you safe in your travels! keep smiling 🙂
I hate to see same thing is happening over and over again of people trying to scam tourists..
i was in Egypt in 1991 and it was exactly the same, you couldn't walk without being harrassed
half of people could say in english only two sentences-give me pen and give me money
but it was always give
lot of hostility very little hospitality
@@danieleverywhere132 Every country has its good and bad side. Many people had a completely opposite experience from yours.
@@user-zm1kt4hd3l tourism arrivals in Egypt are falling last decade while most of places experience growth
Egypt definitely has lot to show but you always have to pay financially and mentally
When visiting pyramids touts made such a fuss i left because i could not stand it any more
in Marsa Matruh my hotel had bathroom so filthy that when i confronted stuff they cleaned it with utter disgust on face
in Cairo i was charged in 3 days in same shop by same guy for same water 3 different prices
only highlight really was Luxor and valley of queens but that was spectacular
True ppl behave like animals who see zebra and jump on her to eat and take all she had ... Its disgusting.
the dog chase scene was intense
I agree also if they bite you you get disease from the street dog he is lucky
One of the best videos i have seen yet loved it thank u and please stay safe and god bless
Its dangerous to go alone in these places, I am an Arabian citizen and don't dare to go by myself.
Your a brave man mate.
Please stay safe and happy travels
Wow incredible video Yves thank you for sharing glad you are safe👌🙏💙

I love your videos so much)) Please be safe.
Wonderful video😊
great vidz and adventure all the time ! thx 4 this guy 😎
Mental how well you drove in downtown Cairo in a bike! Tour de France is calling !
This has to be the most entertaining video I’ve watched thus far Yves 😂 the little girl being curious & you laughing at her, and then the guys on the motorcycles with the “tickets”, and then you almost get attacked by the back alley dogs 🤣 I hope all is well brother.
What an incredible ride and that food looks amazing I can see and feel your excitement ♥
You showed some of the reasons I am hesitant to go to Egypt. It's unfortunate such a beautiful country is full of complications
egypt is trash and full of scammers. this guy is not the only youtuber who have been the target there.
Pour une femme l'Égypte est très très compliqué, le harcèlement est courant et les policiers corrompus
Don't hesitate his experience is deffrent cuz he was on a bike and exposed to all the ppl on the streets and also went out of the big cities.
He is literally going into the slums of Cairo. Those are really dangerous places for tourists because there lives many criminals. Touristic places and good neighborhoods are much more cleaner and safer. You can always find dangerous and dirty areas almost anywhere if you look for the worst! It's irrational and unfair to build a view of a whole country or culture based on some bad places. I work in tourism and I know hundreds of Europeans who prefer Egypt to any other destination given it's cheap cost and wonderful weather. Most of them visit Egypt once or twice per year.
Priceless! Amazing! Too good to be true!
The toddler girl was so curious😁❤
Amazing video!
Merci for another amazing vlog. Manaaki te Atua Yvres
Your spirit
Your persistence your bike as well r amazing 👏 man.
What a incredible ride. Food looks amazing. You can see and feel your excitement.
3 more weeks I start my full-time traveling...you are definitely inspiring and do a great job on content 👏
That was a crazy ride through Cairo. So much energy.
12:47 he told you you must get ticket first to be able to use your recording and etc video record in this place not allowed without ticket. and bawaba its mean the entrance gate
Des sacrées aventures ! Super vidéo !
@16:00 when the dogs started chasing you was so miraculous hahah
Just found out your channel, its amazing what you're doing really and it motivates people to get their ass out and explore the world! Good luck to your endeavors, I'll follow your channel on a daily basis now :)
The entitlement of those scum people trying to sell you an "entrance ticket" made me furious I'm glad you didn't take the bait, no wonder the government of Egypt is afraid of cameras, they don't want tourists to know what will happen to them once they get there, after watching similar experiences from different UA-camrs over there I'm never visiting Egypt, not even for free.
Yes but something has to be done about it - it cannot be avoided be cause these scammers will take next step and use violence to rob tourists.
Waiting for your vlogs thanks for sharing good vlogs be careful to
Hello my friend we live in Memphis.... Tennessee, be safe and keep up the good work
The crazy bike ride towards the pyramids passing by camels, donkeys, cars and pedestrians was thrilling
Another good video mate...but please stay safe my friend.

@@HMwest-qu5gm They r not scammers but if you go through the video again it is obvious they were trying to help him🙂
The excitement level of the adventure is increasing day by day. Even I'm scared here, I can't think of you. 😬
And yes they're called Aswan Granite I guess, and they're quite rare.
15:56 man this is so funny 🤣💀
You are such an interesting person,,I love your accent !
15:32 the man changed his behavior because in the beginning he thought you are a thief maybe, then he realized you are a tourist
Almost all the streets of Egypt have dogs , they chase you if you are on a bike, especially if you are a stranger.. Until you get out of there territory ie street
Bravo Yves.. fantastique. Tellement plus intéressant d'aller voir tous ces trésors loin des touristes mainstream à Gizza ;)
I laughed so hard when the dogs chased you 😂😂😂
You must be more careful and it's better to have an Egyptian friend with you in your journey 💜
⭐⭐⭐⭐ kino, thank you for sharing your experiences with us, but please stay safe & be very cautious. Scammers, are every where in any given country however, is more notorious in some places. For this reason, one has to listen to that inner voice that tell us to move on from any given situation. Looking forward to your next video... Abrazos

I love Egypt as I lived some good years there before making it to the UK. Unfortunately, its not well managed, and leave the visitor with bad impression of the country as restriction and people ways of extracting money in these touristic places is what most visitors will see / experience.
On personal level once you make the connection with ppl & get to know them then things start to change but this would need sometime for someone to build these connections and get used to the ways of evading these bad situations.
Stay safe and looking forward to the upcoming videos.
aah brings back memories from when I was in Giza Egypt was scammed by the locals and when the police came we found out they were corrupt glad you didn't fall into their hands. have a good trip and take care and be safe

safe journey alway,,@Yves
Thumbs up for your courage! I would never ever ride a bike in Cairo :)
Great traveler 👍
Those were some cute kids...from a distance i like em for about 5 minutes then i cannot deal with them lol. Also those dogs chasing you instantly reminded me when i was a kid riding my bike and two big dogs sprinting at me while i'm going the fastest i ever went on a bike.
All the recent UA-cam videos I’ve seen on Egypt are like this. There appears to be a disproportionate amount of ppl in Egypt making life for tourists hell as compared to almost every other country travel video I’ve seen on UA-cam.
If you're Egyptian it's way worse, you can just be killed in police custody or disappear like that and your family can't even hold a proper funeral because there's a criminal military dictatorship in power. They're very afraid of cameras to broadcast what's really going on and have been involved in the killings of foreigners too in the past like the Italian Regeni and the Mexican tourists but now it's mostly the good Egyptians that are suffering from it with insane inflations along with low wages.
U missed in saqqara onas pyramid its colored incravings are fantastic
Also the sirabyom tunnels are enormous & incredible
You Yves are one crazy guy
شبة حماقى 🤣🤣🤣 welcome to Egypt 😻🇪🇬
I am so happy for you in this video, you are so lovely with Egyptian children playing with them sweet Yves 🌹🌸
As Egyptians we are suffering the same unfortunately
You deserve more views

When I saw you eating dinner, I started to fell hungry so I went to the kitchen and prepared some Turkish lentils and grilled lamb chops with rice. Bon Appétit!!!!!!! #ChristWithYou
I died laughing when I ran away from the dogs 😂😂😂

Too bad the dogs attitudes didn't change eh 😂😂
15:56 man im dead 💀💀💀💀
the dogs need to told you welcome to egypt simply 😂
amazing journey be safe withcamera online
The dogs dude xDD
There is an entrance from Dahshur that takes you to the Red pyramid (it is a little bit more to the north than the Black pyramid). And from there you can walk to other pyramiids (including also the black pyramid I guess, although I don't remember seeing it in spite of it being very close, according to the map).It was unexpectedly super cheap to visit this area and (you can even enter a pyramid that is even nicer than Kheops from inside). I was going solo and I was very questioned at the entrance, I even had to assure that I had a taxi waiting for me (not true).Saqqara was really fenomenal. Djoser was the first pyramid built if I am not mistaken. But yeah, Egypt was always like that: astonishing sites and some harassment here and there. In between some nice food and some good people. Cheers.
You looked like you needed a strong drink after those horrible dogs nearly ate you.A nice pint of Guinness would sort out the nerves.Take care my friend. 🇮🇪
Them dogs: that bike is the enemy! Seriously though, I would have had a heart attack xD
Most people wouldn't dare to travel like this anywhere.
A true adventure to ride through cairo , yes , maybe just once 😂
The dog chasing part was hilarious 😂
