Next video is how to fix a broken headstock after you clean your guitar like this!

I was getting crazy anxiety. Missed the entire video cuz I was just staring at that headstock sitting on the table like that.
Pretty bad tutorial after having to watch it a second time while forcing my OCD mind to not focus on the headstock. Basically no better than any other vid. But at least others support the neck...THE RIGHT WAY.

Me too, my neck is still tight from seeing that! And then he dumps oil onto the fretboard straight from the bottle. Double plus ungood.

Debit cards have a chromoly hybrid center which binds the two halves and visa logo together - it will cause the guitar to not rock as loud out of a marshal stack. Amazon gift cards are quantum-coated which actually strips the fretboards of gunk and are used by 90% of guitar players - but never use on rosewood, ebony, or maple fretboards - and never with a guitar with a maple neck.

The way he lets the head of a gibson rest on the table without any neck support is so scary.

January 15th or 16th and May 14th are the days I take literally half a day cleaning and conditioning my guitars. They hang in a climate controlled garage but humidity and season change is a factor that demands that I oil the fingerboards and make any neck adjustments due to outdoor climate change. 3,000 - 4,000 dollar guitars should be treated like a car and the twice a year tune up is the best way I have been able to keep them from drying out etc - learned my lesson the hard way when ebony fingerboard started cracking on a beautiful martin that got really dry during cold winter prior to climate control being added to garage man cave. Another thing I learned is to never leave a Capo on a guitar when you hang it up and forget about it - The same Martin had a capo in the 3rd fret and just hung there in a dry and freezing winter, only to be alarmed when I grabbed it because I got into an acoustic phase (Which happens back and fourth with electric and there is no science to when someone switches between the two). The capo caused the binding on neck to pinch in a bit and was not smooth flat, although it didn't effect playability - After taking care of that guitar regularly it somehow expanded back to almost normal. Its like my cigar humidor i lost interest in and beautiful cohibas all dry. two years later I was able to resurrect them in a similar fashion to the martin's rebirth. Not going to experiment and find out what happens when i neglect an es-355 or les paul custom. Guitars are like an extension if their owner. Just don't get depressed and neglect them like I did with my glow fish coffee table tank years ago.

My precious Lily would have a headstock rest, or even a couple cusions or kitchen rolls.
Gotta treat a standard from the 60s like.. a standard from the 60s

The neck support was used to prop the guitar up so we could see it better, not for the neck though. Too funny.

No neck support from official Gibson tech? I wouldn't trust this dude with my guitar that's for sure!
Tip: Next time show a dirty guitar being cleaned, not a brand new one that you just run your brushes and cloths across and it makes no difference.
For me, useless video. Expected A LOT more from official Gibson technician.
