Ahah mate happy to see you ended up using my replay. I did indeed run into MacroToss around 2 months earlier and remembered him smacktalking me all game in that one too :D Was great seeing you in Katowice again Piggy, much love
The whole "n00b" argument is definitely one of the worst ones to use in a rage situation. I was just waiting for pie to say, "It's called skillbased matchmaking for a reason..." I would absolutely LOSE IT.
was "lucky" enough to encounter him tonight, he was raging for half an hour, complaining about cheesers and how it's impossible to scout xD completely unhinged ranting
Ah nice to see the Salt Mines again! One time a guy kept saying I'm a casual because of low APM and only a few games here and there (after losing to my cheese). And I agree, I am a casual player and it's funny he thought it was an insult and that he was so tilted he had to check my profile to see the my match history
"im reading these in Artosis voice" which is much funnier to me now because I have finally caught one of his streams. Artosis casting at GSL is just funny and pleasureable. Artosis playing the game? Chaotic salt. Pure salt. lmao
This channel is why I've started using silly banter. The tryhards in this game make it so much more fun, even if I lose some MMR. My own rage is thus diminished. One does well to remember that StarCraft is a social game, and when a social game is tough to play, trolling becomes an extra bit of sauce to put on your pizza of an experience.
Popcorn ready. "Here we go!" Edit: Half way through... Visions of giant hamster wheels derailed and hurtling down mountainsides through villages of oppressed, hapless farmhands, leaving wakes of destruction. A maniac within, laughing uncontrollably. Gleeful of their 'victory' until a stick fence topples their dominion - dethrones their aspirations. Ignoring reality is now the aim of the game - much, much better than admitting defeat or taking stock of their life... Edit: LOL "Living their best life" I'm in bits :D
The rager in that first match went 3 base and didn't build a single fighting unit. Unless you count those two frontline reaction cannons that immediately went down. And then raged about rushing. At 5 minutes. Amazing.
"Btw MacroToss with the impressive top tier gameplay has the whole army on nr. 2. This is what we call F2 with extra steps: It´s where you only use the select all army key to select your army, but then you basically go select your army, you put it on ctrl 2 and then you use nr. 2 as your select all army key - it´s hilarious." Damn. That´s what I do, except I´m masters 3 and put it on 1 xDD Sadge FeelsBadMan
Hey guys, it's not just about the size of the duck! Energy levels matter too, you know, some of those biggest ducks only ever want to sleep and waking them up can be tough. Where's the fun in that?
secret salt strategy. Complain about a build to encourage them to play that build? I dunno, I wouldn't do it because I suck too much for ladder every since they removed wood league. Been practicing though on this tough mode called campaign (I think it's french) mode. I play it on easy but I'm almost to the third mission and cranking out 30APM (not average, just when I get clicky) which is weird, because I type like 100 wpm. You'd think I'd be better at this game. It needs shortcut keys, all my options are for hot keys and I'm not heating up this vintage 2010 generic Dell membrane magic. Left clicking everything is so slow. Also, control c and control v don't make extra units. I've tried with both races. Also, every time I tell the computer ten min no rush, they don't listen. I can't wait till we get some chat gpt integration so the game understands high-level thinkers like me.
Artosis is too whiny to be anything but Terran. The "My skill is way better than you" is classic Terran 'We should just be handed trophies for showing up' mentality.
No, they won't tell someone they have a small duck, they'll just leave/ghost/cheat. Duck size matters, and it gets discussed with friends a lot, even if it doesn't get told to the duck-holder outside of insults.
I used to rage like this too. Now I don't want to speak for MacroToss but I think there is an underlying issue. For me it was that I had no friends and life was not going my way. I was sad and I was letting off the steam at other people on the ladder. But not in a healthy way. I was raging almost every game even when I was winning. It is important to solve the main issue first. I did it and whoever is reading this and can relate then please solve the issue first. Playing healthily is so important. You are ruining your mental health and the experience of other players.
i want to watch an episode where the salty person wins just to see what happens EDIT, Can't believe he actually won, can't believe anyone would send a replay where they lost
absolutely this playing the game wrong thing just is a fail of mindgame/letting your opponent get to you. It's a relatively cheap investment on the guy that is playing suboptimal but tilting makes others expend a lot to cope with losing to it. I feel like this hamster wheel of rage is the only thing that was driving LoL updates.
I do think it's valid to get annoyed by people playing super odd and theoretically bad builds because it's like nearly impossible to practice against it or really know what the right response is. There's not going to be any guides on it and ur super unlikely to see the build again on the ladder because it's uncommon/not meta. I'm not saying you should go rage at ur opponent but I think it's important for Pig and the viewers here to acknowledge how frustrating it is to play against weird stuff.
It's definitely difficult and therefore frustrating to play against new things. But the funny thing is you can often beat these things by simply working on your fundamental understanding of the game, staying calm and goal oriented in the chaos. All the things that allow you to succeed at SC2! The moment your reaction to that frustration is to start whining, you've not only lost the game, you've also probably ruined your own gaming session by making yourself so upset
@PiGstarcraft yeah I'm not saying you can't learn from it and good point that trying to manage stress and not tilting is a skill in itself. I just feel like it's important to acknowledge how painful it can be and to be kind to yourself and other who are experiencing the frustration
I really dont think macrotoss is as "theoritically" good as you gave him credit for. Pie was clearly memeing on him by massing a single unit. Like you said, if he built mutas at any point in the first 15 minutes he would have obliterated.
I believe MacroToss is currently a bit better than me, but keeps dropping down to my level just because of the constant raging. He didn't make many mistakes when he wasn't busy typing lmao
Ahah mate happy to see you ended up using my replay. I did indeed run into MacroToss around 2 months earlier and remembered him smacktalking me all game in that one too :D

You are the mvp of the salt mines. You must have been grinning from ear to ear that whole match
@@hectatusbreakfastus6106 it was an absolute blast and also makes for a great excuse for me playing like an absolute baboon 😅
@@CallMePie at least you didn't have 10 FUCKING DRONES on an extractor oml 😂
That "Having a good night again huh" got me laughing. Again. lmao.
@@CallMePie It's the hardest game in the world and there are some interesting people that play it lol. You play great even when dealing with goofs!
Last game was a journey from "Ah, this guy is 100 pro trolling" to "Man, thats just very sad". Probs for Pie sending in a loss!
The whole "n00b" argument is definitely one of the worst ones to use in a rage situation. I was just waiting for pie to say, "It's called skillbased matchmaking for a reason..." I would absolutely LOSE IT.
Damn ive missed this series! Been rewatching the old ones over and over again 😂
^ what he said 😂
Glad to be back. Got a few extra replay sorters so hopefully can find enough good games for 1 episode a week from now on :)
That second guy is a gem, try your best to enjoy the game and learn to lose
That’s been the best game changer for me :)
Watching this make my ladder anxiety go away. So therapeutical, thanks ;)
MacroToss is in general chat every night complaining so much, thats probably how Pie recognised him
was "lucky" enough to encounter him tonight, he was raging for half an hour, complaining about cheesers and how it's impossible to scout xD completely unhinged ranting
"Your fat" :D I enjoyed that
Haha sometimes simple burns are unironically the most effective :P
12:07 that was so savage it feels like he's personally telling this to someone he played against. What a man.

"YOU'RE A STUPID CASUAL"
"Yep"
Argument already won rofl
Filthy casual!
WowMacroduck(macrotoss) is (Gg)Raging Great Cast Pig!!
Having Artosis sound clips at the ready makes the everything better… 😂
No... the 10 probes on the gas absolutely killed me
Excellent! I've been missing salt mines and flo files
"im reading these in Artosis voice" which is much funnier to me now because I have finally caught one of his streams. Artosis casting at GSL is just funny and pleasureable. Artosis playing the game? Chaotic salt. Pure salt. lmao
That first one was so cute! Thanks for sharing silver rage.
The real mmr was the salt we mined along the way

bigducksonly didn't make a single unit in the whole game. 0 Army supply. I have never seen this berfore. Truly a talented gamer.
Oh my, please never end this series lol.
This dude is living in the SCI meta of 20 mins no rush to get to carriers.
I thought the video's title was referring to Harstem's editor lol. Great to have the salt mines back. Pro games are fun but these games are special.

Artosis in a nutshell: if his opponent doesn't play exactly like he wants, its a cheese and they're trash.
Omg my favorite series is back!!
Hey guys, it's not just about the size of the duck! Energy levels matter too, you know, some of those biggest ducks only ever want to sleep and waking them up can be tough. Where's the fun in that?
Somebody call Latto, because that first replay had some Big Duck Energy.
Thank God. It's about the time. Perfect gift for Valentines Day, but please don't forget about us...
I noticed some... small duck energy in the first game... if you know what i mean
having confidence, and many tiny duck jokes, by far is the easiest way to talk to anyone. .
No joke, i had a friend whos favourite insult was “your ugly” in high school, about 20 years ago lmao

We need a scrub Lord’s Prayer (coined by core A gaming’s salt video) for sc2

I'm just upset PiG has not apologized for having one of his minions bite Harstem
the real winner wins even after the end screen
If Pie is a noob and they’re playing in the same league, then I guess Macrotoss is as well.
Lmao in the second game the protosd player was supply blocked at 23/23 during the rage and then immediately went up to 28/54 after like 5 seconds
I often see MacroToss in EU general chat complaining about game balance, specifically roaches
I was today years old when I found out that Starcraft 2 has drag scrolling .....

Angy puwutus is angy!
I would call it doom listing. Because the list spirals down into their doom.
YEEEEEEEE WE'RE BACK BABYYYYY
You know a lot about ducks mate
I have a big duck. Got it thanks to a potion I bought off a quack.
OH no! I do the fake F2 thing too.
Guy is angry even when he wins, feel bad for whoever he's in a relationship with
The guy in the first game is such a tryhard beta duck!
I may not have the biggest duck, but it makes my wife go quackers😊
lol
Artosis can't get out of 3.2k, there's no way he will go back to ladder

My sister got mad at me for using the uhh... "R" word the other day. I'm like seriously, that's like telling a black guy not to use the "N" word
GG
How is that diamond

Wood league
Wtf is the r word worthy of blurring out?
I don't spend that much time tracking what UA-cam is exactly ok with and not ok with at any point in time so just playing it safe.
How to get off that hamster wheel??? Not playing that idiotic game!
