What a great idea for a stream. It was super cool to see your proces, generating a game basekly from nothing. Showing the art, songs, sounds, mechanics etc. of the game. But also just the dynamics of making a project together with friends. (it has been years since I last did anything like this, and it brought back good memories, and a few less good once).
Congratulations with the game jam, Pirate Software would be proud of you. 👏

I know there are a lot of idears to improve this game. But I think the main ones are some borrowing stuff that just needs to work for people to be able to enjoy a game. It is easy to underestimate this, but we all know how often we get frustrated by a bad user interface in a otherwise ok game.
1. Resolution needs to be adjustable (it can be windowed or full screen), as it is now the game might not be playable for some people.
2. You should be able to get back to the main menu. Fx Esc could bring up the main menu.
3. There should be a way to restart (I thought they added this but cant find it in v 1), now it just auto saves all the time.
4. If you add the background music again, an audio option should be available where you can adjust background sound and effect sounds independently.
I think if thees things are working, it would feel much more like a finished game and people would have an easier time loving the game without any distractions.
Things I would like to see 🙂
1. A timer that shows me how long it took me to beat it.
2. A new game plus speedrunner mode where a semi-transparent timer is visabul in the corner all the time. Maybe with splits showing you time at 250 m 500m 750m etc.
Maybe with your PB and a data shown all the time too 🤷‍♂. (Maybe ask speedrunners what they like)
3. A new game plus mode where you can start anywhere and practice your jumps. Practice mode.
4. I would like the jellyfish arms to be animated 🙂
5. I would like if the ad-libs was sorted into small setbacks medium setbacks, and epic falls . Say you have an epic fall of 150m, then you should get a brutal voice line, like "hop you did not stream this, cause that would be embarrassing" with a 100% probability of getting a voice line. If it is a medium fall the probability might be 50% and the voice line should be less bad. and for small falls like 10m's the probability should be low for a voice line to play and the voice line should be short and encouraging. That way some voice lines are rare and long or common and short. But the group of short voice lines will be played much more. Hope this make sense.

To be 100% clear. I love the game idea, the art, the sound, the stream idea and everything about it. The game type is not for me, but I bet some people (fanfan, Ludwig, Toast etc) would love it. You all did such a good job and I hope you have inspired a lot of people to go make there own game. ❤
