    Bring manufacturing and production home!

    • @le_th_
      @le_th_ 5 місяців тому +2

      It's not enough to "bring it home" because if labs are careless and/or cutting corners, or if they hire a sociopath, the labs here will be at risk as well.
      You do realize this can happen anywhere, but when you can litigate a class action suit against a US company, it might be less likely to happen.

      So you think Velocity Labs in India is targeting people who are struggling financially? Could you be more paranoid? They don't care who buys their product, just as long as these companies keep buying them. They sell to businesses...pharmacies who use their products to put their own brand label on.

      the only way this will happen is if either America lowers wages across the board to make it cheaper to produce here or other countries raise their wages above America so it ends up being cheaper to make here. and other countries are not as stupid as USA to give there employees more money. this is how world trade works ...

    • @Lacroix999
      @Lacroix999 4 місяці тому

      You may have chronic dry eye. This is caused by many things including things you wouldn’t expect, but definitely not limited to, hormonal changes and Lyme disease, as well as environmental factors, like allergies or your air system in your home.
      You shouldn’t take them if you don’t need them, but they can and do help if your dry eyes affect your vision.
      Also, there are different degrees of eye drops. Some are in drop form, others in gel that last longer and needed to be used less. Some for allergies too. Some help during the day if used right before bed or first thing in the morning to last all day.
      I wouldn’t necessarily think you don’t need them just because you watched one video saying so. Obviously stay away from the bad ones but if you find a good one to use that actually suits your needs, it may help you more than being a pain. It’s also good to find out what’s causing it instead of just finding a bandaid to fix the symptoms not actually fixing the issue. Are you lacking essential vitamins and getting proper hydration throughout the day? Things like that will help as well.

    What about sterile saline for dry eyes?, of a certain salt concentration, or a saline made with, as NeilMed saline packets, ~1 part baking soda and ~3 parts salt (though with baking soda breaking down with heat it would have to be figured out if heat sterilization is feasible). With basic sterility considerations this can easily be made at home and used up rapidly before it goes bad. Perhaps used from a isopropyl alcohol sterilized, metered pump type nasal spray bottle?.

    Saltwater has the same properties as tears and is a natural antiseptic. Saltwater kills germs and may kill some of the bacteria in your eye. Using saltwater is one of the most common eye infection treatments.

      Riiiiight, that's why surfers have to avoid the ocean after it rains anywhere along the coastline....because of all the bacteria in the water that makes them sick if they get in the salt water.
      You must use STERILE drops.
      Have you seen what gets dumped into the ocean? Have you seen what runs off into the ocean after it rains or, god forbid, storms?
      Have you traveled to a 3rd world country where all of the GIANT RED SIGNAGE around the entire coastline posts dozens of warnings of cholera in the water and how you cannot swim in the ocean because they dump their sewage into the ocean?
      You cannot just use salt water, and although you do not mention the ocean specifically, many people will assume you mean the ocean. You must use STERILE drops, not just random salt water that could have anything in it from cryptosporidium to cholera to who knows what else.

      @@alliccat5482Buy it premade - don't make your own! Walmart sells plain Saline for rinsing contact lenses, it just has some mild preservative - pH buffering agents in it - same ones used in many eye drops. Just be sure never to touch the spout/tip to anything to keep it clean. Don't get the "disinfecting /storage solution" for contacts, just plain Saline. Practice squeezing the bottle to learn how it works. I wouldn't recommend using if wearing eye make-up, as you're actually rinsing your eyes out.

    Yes these don’t even work. I do have dry eyes and struggle for the most of my life as I’m wearing soft contacts.
    I’ve found myself the most satisfied with anything from Bausch & Lomb. Even their contacts, whatever new I have tried I would end up with their products. Ever since late 1990 ties.
    My doctor recommended Lumify drops saying they deliver more oxygen in the eyes and they do work better. Anything generic I’ve ever tried I disposed after my eyes get even more itchy and dry and make it almost impossible to wear contacts.

      I think about over the counter medication including the eye drops the vitamins. Right now our food is so over-processed that there's no vitamins or nutritional benefits in them so we take over the counter vitamins but we all have to remember it's all about the dollar signs. I do my best to read the labels to know which country they came from and I will not buy anything from Indonesia or India or China because I know that they are not sanitary and I know that in Indonesia and India that their water is polluted I watched a documentary about the polluted water and that we also buy fish from Indonesia India and China and this speaks volumes to me because they don't care they're all about the almighty dollar in the people that use those poor people in those countries that work for pennies a day or even a loaf of bread and the rich do that to increase their profit margins. So no matter what you buy if you don't look at the labels and call them on it especially if it comes from a foreign country I guarantee you it's about big profits and now that they know that people are buying vitamins and medications over-the-counter medications and it's all coming from another country so that's why we see the higher prices right now because they know that people are hungry for nutrients and that's why I buy vitamins and I use them because I know I'm not getting the same benefits did I receive when I was a child. I am 70 years old and they are poisoning us. He used to buy a can of green beans and it had green beans and salt. Nothing else check the ingredients out and even if you buy fresh produce it is compromised by pesticides and genetic altering
