  • ELON MUSK’S NEW UPDATES ON STARSHIP 20 & BOOSTER 4!
Humans have been crazy about space exploration since the start of time. From viewing planets and stars from Earth with the help of telescopes to landing on the moon and now exploring space with spacecrafts, our journey into space has come a long way. One such person who is really passionate about space is none other than the billionaire Elon Musk.
Elon is a genius of our time, who has always used his money in exciting ways. We all have heard of his company Tesla. The automobile company isn't just any ordinary car company it is the leading name in the electric car industry. He is also working on warships and submarine cars. That's not all. Turns out, Elon is just as much invested in space. His company SpaceX is just as ambitious as Tesla.
Elon has never shied away from experimentation and invention, and he is certainly not afraid to fail. And when you are well on your way to becoming a trillionaire, money is never an issue. So, what does one do when he has all the funding in the world. You make prototypes upon prototypes on starships, each better and more fascinating than the last. In the recent updates, we have seen the 20th prototype of Elon's Starship.
Back in February, everyone was excited to finally watch SpaceX's Starship be launched into space. SpaceX has been preparing for its first Starship orbital flight test since last year, but it kept getting delayed for one reason or another.
Sending the biggest rocket into orbit is not an easy task, and after much back and forth, it seemed like Elon had finally decided on a prototype to send into space. Things finally seemed to be moving forward as we saw the starship mounted on its booster 4. The Starship 20 and booster 4 had been stacked once before last August as practice, briefly creating a 395-foot-tall giant- the biggest launch vehicle ever built. This huge first-stage booster has yet to leave the Earth, but the bullet-shaped Starship-perched on top and serving as the upper stage-successfully launched and landed on its own last May. If this combined launch was successful, the rocket would be the biggest and heaviest rocket to lift off of the surface of Earth- its thrust would be almost double that of the Apollo mission.
This mission was supposed to have occurred by the end of March, but it seems like things will be getting delayed for a few months more. Turns out, Starship 20 and Booster 4 will no longer be leaving the ground. About a week ago, an update saddened space enthusiasts all over the world. Elon announced that the Super Heavy booster B4 and Starship S20 are no longer assigned to the rocket’s orbital launch debut.
