  • James Webb Telescope Terrifying Image of the Big Bang
How did we become intelligent living creatures from a tangle of atoms, molecules, and explosions? Are you curious to find out more about the great event that started it all? Join us as we take a look into the new terrifying image of the Big Bang captured by the massive James Webb Telescope.
Scientists have been raking their minds trying to find out everything about the Big Bang for the longest time. There have been several exceptional inventions that have helped us keep an eye on things in space but most of these telescopes and space shuttles have been unable to satisfy our curiosity about the Big Bang and everything that happened before it. The James Webb Space Telescope is proving to be an exception. The JWST comes fitted with ultra-magnification chips to capture hidden spaces at the edge of the universe and high-tech reflective mirrors to integrate infrared light rays. This telescope has the potential to be NASA's most powerful space research tool and it's all set and ready to make groundbreaking discoveries about the history of the universe and the existence of other intelligent life forms inhabiting mysterious planets.
The JWST is worth all the hype it's receiving. We've got other high-end telescopes in space doing their jobs very well, I'll give you that. There's Hubble that has revolutionized the way we look at stars and cosmic bodies. The pictures this decades-old telescope sends back to earth are nothing short of exhilarating. The Chandra is another wonderful creation that has been trying to capture X-rays emitted by various objects of the universe. But how many telescopes can you name that have been sent into the depths of space with the sole purpose of trying to take a peek at the edge of our universe? Not many, right? Well, we've got one now orbiting the Lagrange 2 point a million miles away from the Earth and it might just mark the culmination of a millennium of space research, exploration, and study. What a spectacular prospect to look forwards to!
The JWST was launched with the primary goal of staring into the galaxy's well-kept secrets like the origin of the heavenly bodies and the events that followed right after. From capsules revolving around in space to exploration of the galaxy more than 13.5 billion years before the Big Bang, the JWST is capable of all and more owing to its wide diameter golden beryllium mirrors that have a light-collecting area of six times more than that of the Hubble. The JWST is looking for signs of life on various exoplanets but its main focus is finding out the answers to the questions about the event that jumpstarted the entire universe - The Big Bang.
