Had to put the pause on the video for the Burt Bacharach CD. The original version of "The Look of Love" was sung by Eric Burdon (of the Animals), the version on disc is the Dusty Springfield version. The Original version of "Thunderball" was done by Johnny Cash. The Rolling stones has their share of unreleased music from 1967. "English Summer" was to be released as a single in place of "We Love You" and "You Can't Always Get What You Want" (recorded Nov. 1967). But remember what Mike Smith said of why he turned down the Beatles "Guitar groups are on the way out". Side note he also turned down the Rolling Stones in 1963.
Right, thanks for the update, I thought they were originals for the intended artist Burt Bacharach worked with rather then just the instrumentals created by Burt Bacharach
Hi Simon!! nice finds for sure, lot of great soundtracks, survivor knew how to do cool songs for movies, congrats on that Alan Parson's vinyl it looks in very good condition. Cheers and be well
Hi Simon. Film soundtracks are always worth getting ... I bought 'Beyond The Sea' on 7-inch in a junk shop when I was 17. My music mates thought I was mad ... Jimmy Ruffin on Motown? What's not to like? ... The Band CD is special. A favourite of mine. Such an important and influential band ... I suspect the Chas & Dave signatures are genuine. They were way more than a novelty act. Great songwriting and they had the likeability factor too ... 'This Guy's In Love With You' is a favourite of mine too. Dionne Warwick does a stunning version, with the title changed to Girl. Take care, Carl
Yes, I think so too carl with all the above, yes, this girls is in love with you is the Donnie Warwick version, that too I think is on that burt b greatest

@@vinyldale I think movies go out of 4stars and music albums go out of 5 stars but whatever 3 out of 5 is fine. me i'm giving that movie 4 stars I like it better than shindlers list forrest gump , silence of the lambs to me the Omen 2 is a very cool movie. Youngblood .
@@marksantucci4230 really? that's funny because I would of said Forrest Gump would be high on my list of all time favourite movies and of given it 5 stars, up there with movies like good fellas, once upon a time in America, midnight cowboy, easy rider, full metal jacket, robocop, Terminator 2, Predator, saving private Ryan, back to the future, ghostbusters, the matrix, movies I consider 5 star, but like music its all subjective 👍

It's a decent enough movie, I'd say 3 out of 5 stars, the original is the best which nearly always the case 👍
