Dillon, Congrats. I can’t think of anyone other than you that should own this box set. Your system and your passion for LZ are a perfect match for these records. It’s not crazy at all. There seems to be a lot of comments and discussions about the price of high quality vinyl. My thought is, if you can afford them and appreciate them, then enjoy. There is a lot of good quality vinyl at a reasonable prices available for all of us to enjoy. It’s always been all about the music.
That chuckle you made when you were able to pull the case out of the box and see the case for the first time. 😁😁 That's why we love your videos. Your real honest enthusiasm.
Congratulations! I am friends with Mike Hobson of Classic Records, and I had the privilege of getting invited to Bernie Grundman’s mastering studio when he was cutting LZ IV for the 33 release. Amazing to hear it directly from the master tape!

FREAKING AWESOME! All of my siblings are Zeppelin fans and we'd absolutely melt if any of us had this Road Case Boxset. I can see by your face how excited you are - GOOD FOR YOU! Rock on and I'm now going to my cave to listen to my Zeppelin records.
Congratulations on obtaining the box set!! They are without a doubt, the definitive pressings, with the possible exception of the Ludwig Led Zeppelin II. I don’t have the box set, but I did acquire the test pressing box sets on Clarity 45 rpm vinyl of Led Zeppelin I, II, & IV, and they are monstrous rockers with an eerie depth, spacious soundstage, and captivating in scope.
Dillon; your enthusiasm for vinyl and music in your videos is so contagious and is why I tune in. Enjoy this collection, while I dig out my 8 Track edition of Zeppelin IV.
Love your passion for Led Zeppelin, I first heard them when BBC Radio One played Communication Breakdown before it was released, sometime around late 68 early 69 as the first Led Zeppelin album was released in the US in January 1969 and in the U.K. in March 1969. Anyway it knocked me out and I knew instantly that this band were going to be the next big thing after the Beatles. I first saw them live at the Royal Albert Hall in June 1969 at a Gala Pop Festival an amazing gig, then on January 9th 1970 they played non-stop for over 2 hours and it was mayhem, the audience went wild and the Royal Albert Hall banned any more rock concerts for a couple of years, great memories 🎉
How old were you in '69?! You look too young to be around back then, lol. For me it's Michael Jackson THEN Led Zeppelin, then Queen, THEN the Beatles...then some group call FREE. Somewhere from there it's Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles, Sinatra, Presley, Cream, Hendrix, The Stones, Bowie. Elton, Cash, Whitesnake, White Stripes, Leppard, G'N'R, Bon Jovi, The Scorpions, Louis Armstrong, Meat Loaf, Whitney Houston, Prince, Madonna, Aerosmith, T-Rex, Diana Ross (Motown folk), U2, Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers, Tina Turner, etc., etc. Oh, my God, I've never heard that about the Royal Albert Hall issue, lol! That's WILD.

Yes, I do now regret not buying that road case set. If Chad is able to do another Zep release like that, I imagine it would cost north of $1500 bucks. Enjoy it man.
I can only imagine the joy you felt man! I don’t believe I’ll ever see one in person, I definitely won’t be able to own one unless some major luck comes my way 🤣 congrats and merry early Christmas to you!
Worked at a Hifi shop when this was released and was able to buy Classic Records reissues at cost. Regrettably passed on buying this despite LZ being in my top 5 all time favorite bands then/now ::crying::
Wow, fantastic set! Thanks for showing it! 8 LPs for Physical Graffiti huh? Sounds like a religious experience! I think you’ll be listening to the Analogue Productions set in three years. You know Chad is going to outdo Classic Records! Jimmy Page will have to be involved. Love your stereo system. I bet that Rastaman Vibration UHQR was unbelievable as well!
I was on the fence of buying this upon its release @ $750. Then there were issues with some pressings (noise and warpage?). Repress was delayed and then I forgot about it until they were out of production Congrats and nice to see a hard core fan with a proper turntable and nice tube hifi n’ such own the “holy grail” Zeppelin box. ❤️ Your gear definitely justifies owning it 👍🏼
@@bradleykay To clarify, I was waiting for a repress because there were issues like noise problems and warpage. Forgot about the box while waiting for the repress and ended up *not* buying it. Retailers had it. Pretty sure Music Direct was where I almost bought it from. Still have the catalog somewhere that I think listed it as “waiting for repress” - It was 2007. He says that in his video? Zero regrets not buying it. I rarely listen to Zeppelin these days, but they were my favorite band growing up. Did buy In Through The Out Door as their new record in 1979 when I was 13 years old. Also got to see their reunion at the Atlantic Records 40th Anniversary concert. Thought most of their records sounded disappointing compared to records of their era like Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours, Floyd’s The Wall, Who’s Next, Curtis Mayfield’s Superfly, etc. Thus I couldn’t justify a box like that @ $800. Especially with potential noise and warpage issues. Although to their credit, apparently Classic Records replaced any Lp’s that had the aforementioned issues. If I spend that kind of money, gotta love the music, expect pristine pressings *and* have to think the material is very well recorded 🤷🏽♂️
OHHH SHIT!💥💥💥amazing stuff man..i have some C.R. pressings of Zepp, some if not totally the best sounding records I own.but this set is just Bigfoot legendary.. Edit: single sided!!

This is fantastic! Also thank you for showing your hi-fi set up. Would you ever do a video on a complete breakdown of all your components?
Holy Shit - I just got a bunch of box sets - made some videos - this just put them to shame. Damn. Good for you man!
I'd love to see you do a shootout for each Zeppelin Album!
Oh Man, this is the DREAM!! Congrats!!!
Thanks!!
Best sound quality ever...45 rpm..u can now sleep better with no worries
I was on the fence of buying this upon its release @ $750. Then there were issues with some pressings (noise and warpage?). Repress was delayed and then I forgot about it until they were out of production
Congrats and nice to see a hard core fan with a proper turntable and nice tube hifi n’ such own the “holy grail” Zeppelin box.
Absolutely gorgeous! Congratulations!
Thanks!
Oh mate I am racked with jealousy! Well done. The grail of grails!
Thanks so much!
Congrats on the Zep Case!
I’m hoping they do something like this for Ice Castles.
I remember back in the early 00’s those albums were over $200 each, no idea how much they’d go for now, nice set you have there man 👍😬
More Led Zeppelin is always more better.
Exactly
Record them to Reel to Reel and preserve the pristine sound! I enjoy the long play possibilities in analog with a good reel to reel. Enjoy!!!
Congratulations!!! Please do the sound quality check
And your hi fi system . . . Superb
Congratulations. Looks like a beast😎
OHHH SHIT!💥💥💥amazing stuff man..i have some C.R. pressings of Zepp, some if not totally the best sounding records I own.but this set is just Bigfoot legendary.. Edit: single sided!!
Thanks so much!
Awesome video man ! Led Zeppelin is my favorite band too , I have all Classic Records except the BBC Sessions . Enjoy the big box mate
Hi dhillon. Happy for you finding it finally. So jealous. Best regards from james in scotland.
Probably did not survive the test of time but hoping someday you get the Led Zeppelin touring jet. What a video that would be.
Bahahahaha I don’t think I would ever get that but who knows 🤣
