Good tutorial. I have an XR18 mixer and using Mixing Station Pro (for Android). I've wanted to learn how to dial out feedback in wedge monitors (although I myself mainly use in ears these days) - this is what I've been looking for. Just a couple of questions: I get that the 'RTA Source' is which input channel you want to dial feedback out on and 'Target' is which output (bus, monitor, main speakers etc) that you want to dial it out on. So if I wanted to dial out feedback on my vocal mic in one wedge monitor, this is fairly easy to do using the method you describe in the video. However, what if you have several mics onstage and several wedge monitors and want to dial out feedback on them all? Is it possible to choose more than one 'RTA Source' and 'Target'? Do you simply do it multiple times from the same menu with different sources and targets selected?

Thanks. All you need to do is change the RTA source to ring out different mics going to the same bus. You would do this for each mic going to any particular bus, and if you have several mics going to different buses, then you would do this for each mic, but you would change the target, aka, bus.

It does buy you have to do it manually, it is not automatic. You can find any feedback issues using the RTA feature in the X/M 32 mixers.

Do you have to have the mains on when you are adjusting eq on monitor?

I can't honestly remember but if you are running stage monitors, it's not a bad idea to have everything turned on so you get get a overall sense of what is happening in the room.

Is this the same as the re-gain feature? If I use regain, do I need to also use feedback detection?

Not really. Re-gain is used for increasing/decreasing the input gains, without affecting the channel strip processing or the sends to mix buses/IEMs.
