Brandon in the twilight zone with folks thatr just like anything with girls in it lmao. Sony put minimum effort into this pile of grabage and they didn't bother to hide it. Contractually Sony has to spend $75M minimum on Spider-Man (and related character) movies, this had an $80M budget. They didn't even bother to give this movie a second trailer. They hired some of the worst writers going with an awful track record of films that are literally all in the teens on RT. Sony didn't care so why should we?
Why does Quantumania need to be mentioned as a benchmark? Totally get not liking that movie, but it gets called out every time they review a Marvel-related movie.
Sony's Marvel films ONLY work when they attach Pascal Pictures to a project - like the MCU Spider-Man and Sony Spider-Verse franchises. Amy Pascal works very well as intermediary with Kevin Feige and Lord & Miller.
Currently @17% RT (3.7/10) & 29/100 on Metacritic. Can Sony pls stop making these movies as they unfortunately add to the general overall feeling of superhero fatigue?! Really hope SJ Clarkson isn't badly hurt by this & how do writing duo Burk Sharpless & Matt Sazama keep getting work (Dracula Untold, The Last Witch Hunter, Gods of Egypt & Morbius)?!
I’ll enjoy S.J.’s vision for how it is, then think back further later on as an after thought. Keeping it open minded, still. Just having some fun with it.
MY F*** GOD. Besides Brandon, I've never seen a bunch of people with cognitive dissonance, struggling to come to terms with the movie they watched was terrible. The mental gymnastics you guys are pulling to talk yourselves into liking the movie should get you a gold medal. When you have to justify a movie to yourself by comparing it to old movies on CW or a movie you can watch in the background, then maybe you need to consider a different profession other than reviewing movies. A movie that is good when you're playing it while washing the dishes, AIN"T A GOOD MOVIE. I
there are now 3 movies about exclusively female superhero teams, can you imagine a men only superhero team? of course not, that would never ever exist.
Feel like BD is thinking "did we watch the same movie???" throughout this whole video lol

Aaron likening this flick to Underworld and Clash of the Titans just makes me want to see it, despite y'alls overall score. In the theater? Nah.

Necessary movies don’t exist.
This is true

The expendables….jk
They literally had a spider man movie with just 3 men……
Nothing to do with sex but everything to do with shit content
@@coreyliston4133 that was a tom holland spiderman movie with surprise cameos and fanservice
and they all suck and flopped.
So are they gonna blame men again for it failing? Call us sexist etc.
