Teaching how to Jack Neighbors Gas I see? How about making a video on HOW TO REMOVE THAT EASY FUEL CAPLESS BULLSHIT ON THE LIP OF THE NEIGHBORS GAS FILL ⛽ DOOR OPENING?
I tried it and originally gave up and then came to the comments were you further elaborated. Takes some patience and jacking with it. I finally had a break through and was able to get it going. Thanks. The video was a bit vague and I get it, you're not a UA-camr tutorial guy, just a nice guy that found a solution and wanted to share. Thank you sir.
Yeah I don’t claim to be a pro. Haha. I’m glad it helped. This was my first time doing it with a newer vehicle and it took some figuring out for sure. If I did it more maybe I’d get better at it. I don’t siphon often. Maybe if Biden stays in office I’ll have to steal gas… 😉
@@ginaberrie2608 I never saw this comment til now for some reason. I laughed my butt off. But hey- election year. Now gas can dip some so that Biden can be our hero. “Gas was bla bla bla under my presidency”, and it was that way for only a few months. That idiot.
Currently without power in Central Florida following Hurricane Milton and generator/cans are almost empty. No gas stations have gas near us but Home Depot is open. Thanks for your help keeping my family powered!
Oh trust me- criminals know how to do it without a video. They probably don’t care to do it without a pump. 9.99 at Walmart gets you a pump that will do this in a half hour instead of 6 or 8 hours. I have a locking cap on mine and had my gas taken a year ago. They’ll figure it out I’m sure. This is for those that have legit reasons to drain it. This method is not discreet. It takes HOURS to do and will raise suspicion if it’s not your vehicle.
I actually had a alarm system installed just adding on a little bit of extra insurance for thieves like that, with park activated cameras, and trigger switches installed on the fuel lid too!!
Bummer. But the process of removing expensive ethanol free gas from my vehicle that conveniently died before I was going to put it in storage took so long one would have to be mighty foolish to attempt to steal gas that way. The "pros" must use quite battery powered pumps, which cost more than I would spend to very rarely drain a gas tank.
You just saved me $1,000. We have a Ford Explorer that’s been sitting for a while and the gas went bad in it. Ford wanted $1,000 to flush the system to get all the old gas out.
This may not get every drop but hopefully if you fill it again it will at least dilute the old enough with good gas. When I was done my neighbor had 15 miles on the range display. So it did good unless my tubing just happened to land in the right (low) spot. Give yourself plenty of time. It takes FOREVER without a pump and using tubing that small.
A 1000 bucks to flush the fuel and lines I would punched him right in the fuc*ing face If somebody told me that. 1000 bucks my ass f*ck them... F**k forward anyway pieces of shit. Every 4th day I was a piece of shit some stupid ass flaw... Dumb-ass me bought another one cause I was in a jam for a car. Got a 2014 Ford Explorer and guess what? Yeah the famous water pump in the motor $2000 fix.. Well that went out and there's water in my oil now just like all the ones on UA-cam.. Yeah Ford engineers should alI be put in front of a firing squad
Ok just got it going had to try it. Fuel pump went bad on my wife’s 2015 F150… it works but to help get the 1/4 tube in I used my air compressor with and injected some air into the soft tube when it jammed up(turned my pressure way down) made it go in slick and easy
Dudeeee, this is BS,, i followed all your instructions, and bought all the items in your video, and did everything exactly the same, but when i was removing the gas from my neighbor's truck, i ended up getting arrested for theft!!!! 🤨 That was not in the video!!
My neighbor had this truck and was about to trade it in. He had ordered a new truck, and was waiting for the dealer to get it in. He filled up his tank with 36 gallons of premium, and then the dealer called and said your truck came in and you can pick it up first thing in the morning. Him we are Bubba and I talked, and I siphoned it out and put half of it in mine and half in his wife’s pilot so that we didn’t give 36 gal back to the dealer.
@@Phatphatyo Ah okay that makes sense, I thought you were joking when you said your neighbor gave you free gas. Thanks for clearing that up! I appreciate your reply
@@mexicasoldier8364 haha sure thing. I’ve gotten a lot of hate for it. If you read comments, some of them are kindof entertaining. People think I’m stealing gas but in the video I walk from my garage to the house next door.. probably not stealing from the immediate next door neighbor. Haha. Also this process works but it’s SOOOO slow. Be sure you’ve got time if you do it this way. Criminals drill the tank for a reason. It’s faster I’m sure. This took an hour and a half per 5 gallon can.
@@Phatphatyo yep, I didn't think you were stealing the gas and then filming all the evidence haha. I will be sure to give myself plenty of time. Thanks for the tip!
@@mexicasoldier8364 you got it. If you get anything stuck down there (be sure whatever you buy for the outer tube is slick so it slides past the catch), I’ve got a video of how to get it out. If it happens don’t freak out and take it to a dealer. People do that all too often. Just be sure your tubing is hard plastic or pvc type that will slide out easily. If you got one that slid easy enough you probably don’t need an inner tube. That would make it a ton faster because the inner one has to be smaller than the outer the way I did it. Doing it again I’d get bigger hard tubing and ditch the inner tubing as I don’t think you’d need it if the hard stuff was long enough. Food for thought.
I’ve never removed one. I see where you’re going though. It’s pretty sketchy looking to walk out of my garage and to the immediate neighbors driveway. If I was stealing I wouldn’t do it to the guy next door. Also If I was stealing gas I’d use a pump or drill the tank like a regular criminal. This isn’t a fast process. You’d be shot by the time you siphoned 36 gallons through 1/4 inch tubing. It took 10 hours.
the question is, will the "open gas tank" light be shown on the dash after I do this? Because I need to siphon premium fuel from my raptor to my other car.
Faisal Q it shouldn’t no. I don’t know that these style of caps have a light because there’s no cap. Maybe it has one for the fuel door if that’s open but you don’t have to mess with that to do this way of siphoning. Mine never came on anyway. The story of my siphoning was that I had a neighbor with a 2017 xlt truck and he had just filled his 36gal tank with premium and the dealership had been watching for a certain truck for him. Right as he filled up he got the call that his new truck hit the lot so we siphoned it all into my nearly empty 36gal (the white one in the video)
@@Phatphatyo I haven't done it yet, but what I heard from others that once you put the funnel that comes with the car, the light will go on and it won't go off unless you reprogram it.
@@Phatphatyo One more thing, after the hose passes the metal flap, is there siphon blockage at the bottom or the metal flap at the beginning is the only one?
Faisal Q oh weird. Never heard that. I’ve used the funnel a time or two and have never seen a light. I used it in this video and neither trucks light came on. I used it once at a dealership too when I was doing some maintenance on my truck. To kill time I went walking around and some employees were trying to fill a truck that had run out and couldn’t get the nozzle in (pretty funny actually for the ford dealership to not know about it). Anyway I showed them where it was stored and saw them use it and I actually ended up test driving it and there wasn’t a light.
Faisal Q there is a flap at the top that the funnel keeps open, there is a catch just a few inches down (it’s a bear to get out if the hose gets stuck. Subscribe if you’d like and I’ve got another video of how to get it out if you do get a vinyl hose stuck). That’s why you use slick hard tubing for the outer tube. It slides right past and won’t catch. Finally, there is a ‘ball’ at the bottom that is mainly for stopping fuel from leaking if it flipped over and landed on its top. I suppose a small hose could get stuck in that ball catch but it would be awfully hard to do because it’s a gravity valve. If the truck is on it’s wheels it should stay open. I wouldn’t worry about that one. Worst case if it did pull shut you could just wiggle the hard line or push on it and it would force the ball open again. I’d ignore that bottom one. It won’t be a problem.
I don’t understand the question. After it gets going? You pull the tube out when it’s done. Is that what you meant? It just slides out as long as you use that slick style tube. If that’s not what you mean ask again and I’ll try and clarify.
Very useful, but getting the siphon started was a bear on the dead vehicle that could not be rolled or jacked up on dirt. I used a pump, and detached the hose at the front end when it was below the tank level, then managed to get it onto a short and squat tank, which was the only kind of tank that was entirely below the bottom of the vehicle tank. Then, not having enough short tanks on hand, kept the siphon going and repeated the process by tilting tanks and transferring from the short tank to the other containers, which was much easier, then back to the short tank. The vehicle died after I filled it with very expensive ethanol free recreational fuel for storage purposes, which I can use for my outboard motors.
Yeah that good ethanol free stuff is liquid gold. If I did it again I’d put it on ramps or something to lift it. Anything to get the gas cans lower to keep the draw in the tubing.
@@Phatphatyo Parked? It overheated, stalled out, and caught fire. Didn't have a choice in the matter, or I'd have certainly situated it better for towing.
Shoot I don’t know to be honest. I got it at Home Depot and that’s what the packages said. Got them by the refrigerator hoses in plumbing. Like you’d use for the ice maker water line. I’m sure it’s outer diameter. It took FOREVER to siphon too so I’m sure it’s outer and the inner is tiny
Give yourself time. That took FOREVER!! A pump would be faster. Walmart has them now that are fuel rated and they’re like 12 bucks. 1/4 inch tubing takes a long time. I was 36gal and was full. Hopefully you have the smaller tank. Also I didn’t know these were submerged pumps. I figured they were in-line but I haven’t done the research.
Watching this now because the F150 is full and need gas for generator post-Hurricane Ian. Gas stations have no power or no gas or a three hour long line with no guarantee that there will be gas.
No I didn’t. It’s smooth tubing so I doubt it would if you hit it but then again I don’t know if it’s a float or some kind of contact points that just touch and conduct. I’m not sure if there’s a float.
I screwed up and put the soft plastic tube in. I only put about a foot and a half in, but it’s stuck. Now I got to figure out how to get it back out! 😬😬. I’m thinking if I can find a larger diameter hard plastic tube to fit over it, maybe I can get it back out.
I didn’t end up using it. You could use it but I just sucked on the hose until gas was almost to me and let it go. You can use one or just run the risk of getting it in your mouth. Also it was a lot fumier than I thought it would have been sucking on it so it still tasted gross even though I didn’t get any gas in my mouth so I recommend the bulb for sure.
Francisco vanen yeah they work great. They pump one way and a little flap closes when you let go so it only pulls the fluid rather than pull it and push it back when you let off. I just huffed it, which probably explains why I was siphoning gas at 2am
@@lapd509509 yes. Soft inside the hard. I bought a pack of probably 25 feet. I didn’t use it all. I don’t remember for sure but I’d say get 20’ or so. I bet you use 15 but you don’t want to come up short. Buy 20. It’s cheap.
The flip valve should be open. It only closes when the vehicle is flipped on its lid. In theory that valve should be open for you. I will say it’s hard to get past a couple of those catches. The best advice I have is to cut your tubing to a sharper angle. When I first did this (this was my first and only time trying this so it was a bit of an experiment) I cut an angle and it wasn’t enough to sneak past all of the catches so I pulled it and cut it sharper and it went fatter but still got stuck. I took it out again and cut it to an insane point, way overkill and it went in better. It did get stuck a time or two but i twisted it and made it “roll” in there and it avoided and danced around a couple of snags. Remember that the hard outer tubing like I used is way better than the soft stuff. I can’t emphasize enough how important the hard stuff is. It won’t get stuck in there. If you do get tubing stuck I’ve got a video for that too but the hard stuff is so slick that it slides better. Just be sure you have a wicked point on it and if it gets stuck rather than do a back and forth push and pull, twist it and make it roll over in there. Look at 0:32. It shows both sets of tubing. The hard outer stuff isn’t cut yet. Cut a sharp angle on it from the corner of the tip about an inch to inch and a quarter down it. About the length of the width of the tag in the video so it’s a steep angle and it should step or roll over any catches well as well as sneak into small gaps at that ball valve so when you do push on it it can wedge it out of the way if needed.
Alun Jones also, I’m sure this is obvious but just in case it’s not, if you roll it over remember that it may take multiple rolls of the tubing to get the end at the bottom to finally roll. You may flip the spool in your hand several times before the end that has tension on it rolls.
@@Victimizer68 it’s just like pex. It’s smaller though. Its refrigerator water line. I don’t know what they call it. I got it at Home Depot in the plumbing section. It’s the water line that runs from under your sink or from the wall or whatever, and up to your fridge for the ice maker. It’s that hose.
@@Phatphatyo thanks for your response. I wanted to siphon fuel out of tank for generator because of beryl. Ended up driving to Austin Tx to meet a buddy for cans and fuel. Lol
Not at all. I had a civic and never did. That’s new enough that it will dial back the timing and just not make as much power (I’m talking a hp or two is all). I’d recommend never running 91 or 93 or whatever grade you have for premium. You just spend more and blow it out the tail pipe. If it was a really high performance car or you were going out for track day and had it red lined all day maybe but no you’re fine running 85 through a civic. Those Danged Hondas are bulletproof. I used to throw all my old gas from the lawnmower cans and stuff in it to get rid of it. Newer cars will advance the timing a bit under higher revs (Honda calls theirs v-tec) to produce more power under a high demand and then dial it back again when it doesn’t need power (to get better mileage). With lower grade gas your civic will just not advance timing quite so far. With higher grade gas it will advance it farther. It adjusts automatically. I have a golf R now (300hp from a little 2 liter means it’s advancing it pretty far to get that) and I don’t even run it in that. Maybe in a BMW M series but not from these little 4 cylinder cars. Don’t sweat it. Save the money.
Yeah. I think so. It was in the section of Home Depot that had it for the water line for ice makers and water on the door of the fridge. That turning. It’s hard like plastic. I’m sure it’s poly.
Look behind the rear right (passenger) seat. There’s a special Ford funnel. The seat folds down with a pull tab by the seat belt on the seats side by the wall
@@Evilpricetag I found out just last week that if you use the funnel (trying to empty out a gas can) and then put it back in the truck that your truck will stink like gas for a week. That’s not in the manual. Rinse that crap out when you’re done.
Good video. Anyone else tired of these auto makers making things more difficult to use / DYI? Evidently, they all aced their Over-engineering 101 masterclasses... pioneered by Mercedes-Benz. Less is more! The KISS principle is the boss.
This has a rollover valve. It’s a 2015. The hard tubing went right around it and was slick enough to not catch the valve as it came out. Worked like a charm. Hard tubing is key.
@@HoodHandyman oh shoot. I don’t know how much comes out is the only problem. When I did this it was a full 36 gal (1 mile drive home from the gas station) and I took out 35 and a little bit so it did good but my hose could have landed just right. Not sure if it could leave several gallons in there or not.
@@HoodHandyman true. If you get most of it out maybe you can put in 10 gal or so and run it empty even if it runs bad. Or add some stabil or something to get the water out. Even if it ran crappy- just to water it down some (no pun intended) and get it ALL out before putting a full tank
If you just shove any old tube down there there are one way valves and turnover balls that catch and you can’t get it back out. It’s meant to prevent you from being able to steal someone’s gas.
You probably don’t need 20’ but you need enough to get from the opening down into the tank. But don’t forget from the opening down to the ground too. I put a lot in there so I knew it was at the bottom. If it’s getting fuel it may not be on the bottom but if it’s coiled up down there it likely is. That was my thoughts. You’d need at least 10 though just to go from the ground up into it and then down to tank level.
Oh and the outer is rigid. It’s pretty hard (slick). The reason you should use 2 layers is that with the two catches its hard to shove that much tube in (and out) of there. The hard stuff you just need enough to hit the two catch points and the rest can be hard or soft. If you only used one tube though be sure it’s hard or it won’t slide through. If you shove 6-8 feet in there though remember you have to get that much back through those catches vs just having enough of the other to hold them open and then the other slides semi-freely.
I got it at Home Depot in the plumbing section. It’s hard plastic tubing. If you could find small enough pex piping (newer style water piping that new homes are using) that would work too I’d imagine. This stuff was by the refrigerator water lines like you’d run to get water from under your sink over to the ice maker.
@@wildthoughts6959 go figure. Everything sucks. Can’t afford to live anymore, let alone eat or anything. I’m just glad I’m not buying diesel. We are 3.78 for cheap 85 (Idaho) and 5.65 for diesel.

Quick question: I made a mistake and put 2 bars worth of regular gas 87 in my Acura TL which takes premium 91. Should I siphon that out or just fill the tank up with required premium unleaded ?
I’d just drive it. It won’t hurt unless you’re out for track day and keeping it at red line for hours on end. I actually used to have a TL and I ran 85 through it most of the time. They’re such good motors that it won’t hurt it. If you were really worried about it you can top it off with 91. Then you’re safe for sure. I wouldn’t siphon it though or drain it. It seriously won’t hurt it where it was a small amount.
Most vehicles need a special one. This one has a weird shape to it. I bet yours if different being a dodge. Not sure on them though as I’ve never owned a charger.
Oh I suck-started it. That works great for water. For fuel it’s fumey and nasty. I don’t recommend it. I’d use a bulb pump next time to start it. That was nasty to do. I didn’t consider the fumes.
I have a 2016 Altima, do you think I have to take somewhere to get the job done? I don't know what to do on this car it's different plus I've read about the light and reprogramming things
Shoot I’m not sure on that car. Has anyone else made a good tutorial? Have you searched specifically for an Altima? I would imagine you’d still have to do the dual tubes thing like i did but I’m not 100%. Most cars are that way now with the catches and ball valve inside.
@@Phatphatyo sadly there aren't any videos yet, Thank for the reply I'm guessing I will have to take it to the Nissan dealership to get this fix, 2 days ago someone must of put something in my gas tank because I found it open for 48 hours. Eヴァイオレット yeah or seize the motor if they put anything in it. Hopefully they just were stealing gas is all. That’s better than having something in the tank. You could always turn the key even if you don’t start the engine to see how much gas is in the tank. If you remember how much you had you could see if they took any. Generally if they took gas they likely didn’t put anything in the tank.
@@Phatphatyo Yes! I haven't thought about checking the gas thank you for your POV, I'll look into it. Just bought a key cap for the car so this incident won't repeat itself.I'll sub on you Channel thanks for making videos like this.
Instead of bringing a gas can to a gas station for gas for my lawn mower I wanted just to siphon some gas from my car instead of making extra drives to a gas station 24 miles return. I was not able to siphon as my hose got stopped by the anti siphon screen so I just was not able to do it. Now I have a Ford Taurus and not a truck.
You’d have to have a primer bulb. I didn’t and was sucking it. It’s been so long since I’d siphoned gas that I forgot about fumes honestly. With clear hose I figured I could suck until I saw liquid and then let it drain and by doing so not get it in my mouth, but forgot about the fumes and it sucked. I tried to do it like a straw where you suck without breathing in if that makes sense. It was hard to do and it stung a little. You obviously thought it out better than I did. 🤔
True. As a criminal this isn’t the way to do it. Most bad guys drill the tank or use a pump. This process takes hours, and not just 3 or 4. You’d get shot before you were done if you were doing it this way. Haha
That’s about where mine stopped. You have to push it through that rollover valve. That’s why you use the hard outer kind- so you can force it through. It’s hard to get it but I helped a buddy on a 2012 escape. Not sure if it’s the same as your 11 or not..
There ya go! Kidding. Nah it’s too slow. It’s tough to steal gas when it takes 7-8 hours to drain out that little tubing and you have to sit and change cans.
Yeah he told me to do it. He just filled his 36 gal tank with 93 and the dealership got the truck he wanted in so he was trading it in the next day. He knew. Haha
Yup. Read above. He was trading the truck in the next day and had a full tank. Otherwise I wouldn’t be out in plain sight doing it, filming it, posting it, and doing it at the home immediately next door to me. It wouldn’t be the smartest of criminal moves. 😉
2022 ranger and 14 mustang were siphoned last night. Showed this to the deputy. Apparently they were clueless as to how they were siphoning newer cars. I know police are usually dumb but come on. Criminals find a way.
Yeah. Always. Thats crazy that they got two of your cars in the same night. That sucks. They likely used pumps. To siphon takes way too long. This 36 gal tank (it was full) took hours. I can’t remember how many. It was like 7 or 8 or something. With 1/4 inch tubing it takes way too long. A pump would be quicker. Usually they just drill the tank. I guess be glad they didn’t drill it and damage it. I miss having a locking cap. Doesn’t stop them but deters them at least. These wide open ones suck that way.
@@Phatphatyo darkness had a lot to do with it. My street doesn’t have too many lights. Also I’m pretty sure the people doing this are small contractors and landscapers. It’s gotta be them I know around here all the boss men have been firing help and doing the work themselves 😂
@@Phatphatyo I have a camera outside my house. I thought it could be at work. It just seems weird id be missing 1/8th -1/4th tank . And when i filled up i had to take off the locking cap and the lip on the bottom is pried up some. Idk
I legitimately need to know might have to drop my tank so time to old school that gas out. I think the thieves are just drilling holes in the tanks knowing my luck I would create a spark
He had the dealer looking for a new 3/4 ton for him in whatever configuration he wanted. He filled it up one day and then ford called and said they found his truck. So he was trading it in that next day when they shipped it in. I ended up getting about 34 gal out of it and he gave it back on fumes. It was the cheapest gas I ever bought. It cost me a few bucks at Walmart and Home Depot was all.
Haha. For sure. This isn’t a good process to steal it, however. A $12 transfer pump from Walmart would be a lot faster. Or drill a hole like most people do. This process takes hours to do. For 36 gal I think this took 7 or 8 hours through 1/4 in tubing. Way longer than I thought it would have.
Why did you skip showing us the insertion part ? Suddenly we see it's already connected. that sucks. Your video is too vague . Did you struggle badly to get it inserted, which caused u to skip showing that crucial part ?
Yeah that’s my bad. If I’m being honest I actually had it going already when I thought- hey, I should film a little tutorial. So the materials I show were what I didn’t use. I’d already cut off my tubing that I needed and stuff. That being said, there’s no secret to inserting it. Just stab it in. You won’t do it wrong. The only thing I’ll say there is the tank is farther down than you’d think it is. Don’t short yourself tubing. With the hard outer tube, the inner slides right in and out. It won’t catch and you won’t do it wrong. Then when the inner soft tubing is slid out and you’re done, the hard outer tubing is hard and slick enough that it just pulls out as well. There’s resistance as the flaps are pushing on it but it’s not hard to do by any means. I don’t have many videos and I’m not a big name so if you comment a question I’ll see it. I don’t get many. I’ll try and reply.
Oh also if you somehow don’t have enough to get through the catches I have a video on how to get a tube out. That’s saved peoples bacon when they didn’t know that there were rollover balls and anti-siphon valves and stuff in it. Or if you only put a gummy tube and not a hard one. That’s been done. You need two tubes or the soft one gets stuck and you’ll have a freak out moment thinking you ruined your truck, which may or may not be why I made that video. 😉
Also keep in mind that 1/4 inch tubing like this takes FOREVER to do. Plan it out when you have time. I did 36 gal but it took all night. I went out every couple hours to change a 5 gal can out. I don’t remember the rate I got but it was close to 2 hours if I remember right to do 4.5 or 5 gal. SLOW. Maybe if you could park up on something higher it would draw faster. Or buy a pump. I didn’t use a pump. In fact I didn’t use a siphon bulb. I suck-started it and man I underestimated the fumes. Wow. Nasty tasting stuff and I never even got liquid in my mouth.
No it’s not my car. It’s the neighbors. My garage. Neighbors truck. He was trading it in that next morning and just put 36 gal of premium in it so we drained it into his pilot and the rest in my truck the night before.
To sum this video up, get a hard plastic 1/2" tube from home depot.. it's like 12 bucks for 25 feet. Put 5 feet into the car you are trying to siphon. No need to buy a smaller hose.. just use the 1/2 inch. I siphoned 18 gallons from my wifes car in like 30 minutes. (You need the tank tool for putting additives in the vehicle with the gas in it you want out) Because I put my wifes car higher on a hill, I plugged the other end of the hose in the gas tank of my truck to transfer it.
Criminals already know how. They use pumps that are much quicker or simply drill a hole. It’s not hard unfortunately. This process takes hours and hours. You’d likely catch them in the 10 hour window it takes to drain a whole tank. I get what you mean but I wouldn’t post a video of how to efficiently do it for criminals to take your gas. Honestly I’d rather have them do it a lot of other ways over drilling my tank and causing damage.
@@Phatphatyo not really... I have the same thing on my focus, and my ranger. and mine twists off, like a cap. Which is great because I live in a dusty enviroment... and need a solid stable cap
@@Whatsa-jaguar-now I’ve always wondered how they will do long term. You’d think that fuel filters would plug a lot faster than they used to having them wide open. I don’t mind twisting a cap to keep the fuel system and engine clean.
You probably are stealing fuel 😂 In the middle of the night, yes very sketchy. Especialy now that gas is five bucks a gallon. Someone has emptied my mom's had tank twice now, I installed cameras last night and ordered a locking gas cap. I told her to keep the safety on the gun, for now anyway. I know times are tough and all but stealing gas is not acceptable. ( If they keep it up it'll be Bang 🔫 Bang mo' fo')
It would be at my house too if anyone did. No it was my neighbors truck he was trading in early the next morning. Some went in their Honda Pilot and the rest went in my wife’s car and then into my truck. I work 13 hour days. Night was when I could get to it. I don’t remember the video, don’t I walk from my garage to theirs back and forth to get things? Can’t remember. I think I walk next door a time or two. Anyway this process is slow. It takes like 8 hours to drain a big truck tank through 1/4 inch tubing. If you were stealing it you’d be faster to hook it to a pump or just drill a hole like everyone else does. That’s the only reason I won’t get a locking cap actually. I’d rather it get pumped out than have someone drill my tank and cause the damage. Thanks, Biden.
Yeah I’ve had a lot of those comments. I realize now what it looks like but shoot it’s the neighbor next door. If I stole gas it certainly wouldn’t be from the guy next to me. Also I wouldn’t siphon, I’d drill the tank or pump it like the criminals do. He has just filled his 36gal tank and the dealer called and said his truck came in and he could pick it up in the morning. We weren’t letting that go to waste. Haha
This process takes hours to do, and I’m not talking 3 or 4. I mean like 10. It’s not a good process if you’re stealing fuel, it’s a good process if you’ve got hours and hours and you’re not afraid of someone’s scatter-gun, meaning it’s you’re own truck. 🙂
Why not get ur selves a job and pay for your own gas instead of stealing gas from people who work hard! I work paycheck to paycheck but I will not steal anything from anyone.
Walking from my garage to Nextdoor is hardly stealing. Thieves go across town, not to their Nextdoor neighbor. Also, if I stole gas I wouldn’t use 1/4 inch tubing because that 36 gallon drain (weird that I mentioned in the video that I knew it was full) would take hours, and not 3 or 4. It took like 8 hours to do. Thieves drill a hole. Thanks for the accusations but this was meant to be educational. I’ve got other videos driving this truck; it doesn’t mean I broke into it and programmed a new key. It’s the neighbor that had just filled and got a call that his truck arrived. He was about to trade it in. Half of the gas went into my truck and half went into his pilot. He just couldn’t use it all. Honestly I should do some YouTubing and find a criminals channel because I could have used a better way so I didn’t have to swap cans out every 3 hours. They probably know all of the good ways.
@@Phatphatyo people get shown how to steal them hyundais so just about everyone will probably do it for just a thrill now. i would hope if you are going to steal gas, not you but anyone, just siphon from the fill tube. at least the owner wont have to have the extra burden of having to be out of all that gas and buy a new fuel tank! just be sure that people dont steal E85 cause thatll tear up cars that arent designed to handle that fuel
I hate you for showing criminals how to siphon gas. I also appreciate this video for proving that gas could be siphoned from my F-150, like it has the last two weeks in a row.
Oh wow that’s crazy. Time to get a locking cap. I don’t know if they can be put on these or not. Criminals already know how to do it I’m afraid. It’s a bummer. Maybe if you can’t get a locking cap, a camera and a shotgun.
What can I say- he buys that premium and I don’t. Ha. The dealership called him at 7. Night was all we had. If I was stealing I def wouldn’t have. Filmed it. Plus this is how you get shot. Takes too long to do it this way. Like 8 hours to do the 36gal. Criminals use pumps or just drill the tank. Lol.
Thieves drill the tank and drain it in a matter of minutes or they use a pump to drain it. This is siphoning through a very small hose and took hours, and not 4 or 5. This took all night and I didn’t finish before I had to go to work in the morning. This isn’t how thrives do it, I promise. If they did it this way and hung around for 8 or 10 hours they’d be shot before it finished. 😆

My gas was recently stolen from my Capless Ford. Now I know where they learned how to do it. Nice job.

@@endoracing no doubt. I’d let someone siphon 100 bucks before damaging my truck for sure.

Ok just got it going had to try it. Fuel pump went bad on my wife’s 2015 F150… it works but to help get the 1/4 tube in I used my air compressor with and injected some air into the soft tube when it jammed up(turned my pressure way down) made it go in slick and easy

Why did you have to take out the fuel in the first place? Was it for some kind of maintanence?
My neighbor had this truck and was about to trade it in. He had ordered a new truck, and was waiting for the dealer to get it in. He filled up his tank with 36 gallons of premium, and then the dealer called and said your truck came in and you can pick it up first thing in the morning. Him we are Bubba and I talked, and I siphoned it out and put half of it in mine and half in his wife’s pilot so that we didn’t give 36 gal back to the dealer.

Is this done before or after you remove the "
catalytic convertor" for sale else where ????
All good, but how do you finish the job??
@@Phatphatyo I couldn't do that, because the vehicle is on dirt, and cannot be rolled.

Great video… going to give it a try have to replace a fuel pump and the tank is full…
Yikes. You’re tied up in all that stuff, huh? Best of luck with it. Glad you had a full tank. Be safe.
This made me buy a locking cap for my 2023 truck with the capless "feature"
Oh I didn’t know that they made one. I’m going to look for one for mine. Thx.
Did you mess up the fuel float?
No I didn’t. It’s smooth tubing so I doubt it would if you hit it but then again I don’t know if it’s a float or some kind of contact points that just touch and conduct. I’m not sure if there’s a float.
I screwed up and put the soft plastic tube in. I only put about a foot and a half in, but it’s stuck. Now I got to figure out how to get it back out! 😬😬. I’m thinking if I can find a larger diameter hard plastic tube to fit over it, maybe I can get it back out.
I have a video for that. Subscribe and go check it out. I did that same thing and had a hard tome getting it out. That’s why I made the video.
U never mentioned if you used the siphon bulb or not?🤔
I didn’t end up using it.
@@Phatphatyo 🤣😂!! Yea it's pretty gross, it's happened before.( So the bulbs works just as good to start the siphon process?
Francisco vanen yeah they work great. They pump one way and a little flap closes when you let go so it only pulls the fluid rather than pull it and push it back when you let off. I just huffed it, which probably explains why I was siphoning gas at 2am
@@Phatphatyo How many feet of the hard tube do you need to do this? Do you put the soft tube in the hard tube after ?
@@lapd509509 yes. Soft inside the hard. I bought a pack of probably 25 feet. I didn’t use it all. I don’t remember for sure but I’d say get 20’ or so. I bet you use 15 but you don’t want to come up short. Buy 20. It’s cheap.
How did you get past the flip over valve? I got both tubes that far and it won’t go past the flip over valve..
Thanks! I will cut the point even sharper. 👍
Alun Jones keep me posted. Also remember that if push and pull doesn’t get past it to do a barrel roll. :)
Alun Jones also, I’m sure this is obvious but just in case it’s not, if you roll it over remember that it may take multiple rolls of the tubing to get the end at the bottom to finally roll. You may flip the spool in your hand several times before the end that has tension on it rolls.

So I put 85 gas in my 2011 Honda Civic by accident. should I siphon it or ride it out? I’m just wondering if this will really cause problems to my car
How does it mess things up?
If you just shove any old tube down there there are one way valves and turnover balls that catch and you can’t get it back out. It’s meant to prevent you from being able to steal someone’s gas.
Why not just rigid 1/4”? I still don’t understand why 20’ of it?
Well quick question what happened if I did use the soft tube?
It’s stuck down there wut should I do

@@Phatphatyo sadly there aren't any videos yet, Thank for the reply I'm guessing I will have to take it to the Nissan dealership to get this fix, 2 days ago someone must of put something in my gas tank because I found it open for 48 hours. I haven't turn the car on for safety, because if it does have anything inside it could blow the head gasket.
Eヴァイオレット awesome hope it was helpful and thanks for the sub in advance. You’re awesome
@@erwinerwin1245 is it stuck in there?
I have a video for that if you got the tube stuck.
@@Phatphatyo No its not stuck. I did not push my luck and I assumed there was a screen or something blocking a hose. Thanks for your video
How do you get it primed for the fuel to start flowing (without breathing gasoline)?
You’d have to have a primer bulb. I didn’t and was sucking it. It’s been so long since I’d siphoned gas that I forgot about fumes honestly. With clear hose I figured I could suck until I saw liquid and then let it drain and by doing so not get it in my mouth, but forgot about the fumes and it sucked. I tried to do it like a straw where you suck without breathing in if that makes sense. It was hard to do and it stung a little. You obviously thought it out better than I did. 🤔
That's the best part
Just do like my dad did and get your kid to “start the siphon.” He’ll turn out fine, just like I did.
Criminals don't need anymore bad ideas lmao
True. As a criminal this isn’t the way to do it. Most bad guys drill the tank or use a pump. This process takes hours, and not just 3 or 4. You’d get shot before you were done if you were doing it this way. Haha
Can't do it on a ford ecape 2011 it goes only 4 feet and it stops I tried didnt work
That’s about where mine stopped. You have to push it through that rollover valve. That’s why you use the hard outer kind- so you can force it through. It’s hard to get it but I helped a buddy on a 2012 escape. Not sure if it’s the same as your 11 or not..
Thank you, now I can get free gas from my neighbors.
There ya go! Kidding. Nah it’s too slow. It’s tough to steal gas when it takes 7-8 hours to drain out that little tubing and you have to sit and change cans.
It has one way check valve
@@nicholaslandolina this gets around it (technically through it)
Flip the switch for light😂
Did the neighbour ever figure out it was you?
Yeah he told me to do it. He just filled his 36 gal tank with 93 and the dealership got the truck he wanted in so he was trading it in the next day. He knew. Haha
Suspicious.... Your neighbor told you to come cipher his gas out of his truck......in the middle of the night...🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yup. Read above. He was trading the truck in the next day and had a full tank. Otherwise I wouldn’t be out in plain sight doing it, filming it, posting it, and doing it at the home immediately next door to me. It wouldn’t be the smartest of criminal moves. 😉
When a squid clown owes u money great way to get payback lol
Why are you doing it at midnight lol
The truck was gonna be traded in in the morning at 8 so night was all we had to get it drained or we would be giving the dealership 36 gal of gold.
@@bostonterrierfanatic9652 dang. Time to get out those cameras I guess. Sad that you have to.
I could swear someone was stealing small amounts of gas from me so i bought a locking cap. It looks like someone pryed on it
Yikes. I don’t know which is worse. Losing the gas or having someone potentially break something on the truck. Set up a camera maybe?
@@Phatphatyo I have a camera outside my house. I thought it could be at work. It just seems weird id be missing 1/8th -1/4th tank .
And when i filled up i had to take off the locking cap and the lip on the bottom is pried up some. Idk
I legitimately need to know might have to drop my tank so time to old school that gas out.
I think the thieves are just drilling holes in the tanks knowing my luck I would create a spark
That would be my luck as well if I ever tried.
y would your neighbor tell u to siphon 36 gallons of gas from his new truck?
He had the dealer looking for a new 3/4 ton for him in whatever configuration he wanted. He filled it up one day and then ford called and said they found his truck. So he was trading it in that next day when they shipped it in. I ended up getting about 34 gal out of it and he gave it back on fumes. It was the cheapest gas I ever bought. It cost me a few bucks at Walmart and Home Depot was all.
He had a pilot and it was about full so he said if I could get it out it was mine.
Listen to what he says dumbass
Gas prices make a man desperate
Haha.
You don't need the Ford "tool." A short hunk of garden hose does it.
Wait which tool? The funnel? Hose works for the funnel?
here after helene
Flash light In garage...maybe Just maybe that's not your Car that you're Is siphoning gas from?
No it’s not my car. It’s the neighbors. My garage. Neighbors truck. He was trading it in that next morning and just put 36 gal of premium in it so we drained it into his pilot and the rest in my truck the night before.
To sum this video up, get a hard plastic 1/2" tube from home depot.. it's like 12 bucks for 25 feet. Put 5 feet into the car you are trying to siphon.
No need to buy a smaller hose.. just use the 1/2 inch. I siphoned 18 gallons from my wifes car in like 30 minutes. (You need the tank tool for putting additives in the vehicle with the gas in it you want out)
Because I put my wifes car higher on a hill, I plugged the other end of the hose in the gas tank of my truck to transfer it.
Ild prefer if you didn't make a video telling people how to get the gas out of my truck
Hate to point out... that is a gas cap
Uh oh- what did I mess up? 🫣This is a capless truck. Did I say something stupid?
@@Phatphatyo not really... I have the same thing on my focus, and my ranger. and mine twists off, like a cap. Which is great because I live in a dusty enviroment... and need a solid stable cap
@@Whatsa-jaguar-now I’ve always wondered how they will do long term. You’d think that fuel filters would plug a lot faster than they used to having them wide open. I don’t mind twisting a cap to keep the fuel system and engine clean.
You probably are stealing fuel 😂
In the middle of the night, yes very sketchy.
I guess that this is kind of shady but we would understand, from a technical perspective, if you did this in daylight.😂
Haha
gr8, so all we need is the speCL sIfonEng funnL that cAm w/VhicL - guuud grEf👋
Well kind of. That gets you past the first valve. But not the second. It will catch there if you don’t have slick tubing.
Pex tubing
Hope you can "bypass"😵😵😵😵😵 a 12 Ga. shotgun😵😵😵😮☠☠

Good call. This isn’t a process to steal fuel. This takes 6-8 hours to drain a tank. Pumps or drilling holes like thieves do is a lot faster.
You're def stealing your neighbors shit...
Lol.
Thanks for letting all the thieves how to steal gas, from this type of system 🤣
Thieves drill the tank and drain it in a matter of minutes or they use a pump to drain it. This is siphoning through a very small hose and took hours, and not 4 or 5. This took all night and I didn’t finish before I had to go to work in the morning. This isn’t how thrives do it, I promise. If they did it this way and hung around for 8 or 10 hours they’d be shot before it finished. 😆
How much hard hose would i need for a ford escape ?
I’m not sure. They usually come in rolls of 25 feet or so. That’s plenty long for any vehicle.
