There is also a newer multicamera Newcastle approach video available. It shows some more cockpit details. Here is the link: ua-cam.com/video/8OnYmo-EMwY/v-deo.html
Really enjoyed this. My grandparents' house in Seatonburn was right under the flight path. I remember watching Concorde flying over in the 80's, that was exciting!
Thanks for sharing your very personal feedback! Great to hear that you enjoyed it! It must have been very interesting watching the Concorde flying at low altitude. Have a nice day!
You almost flew over my house - Seaton Delaval. Quite surreal to see the area from above. Not too long ago Tyneside was massively industrialised including the associated railways connecting it all. Most railway routes are lifted now but their paths can be seen from above and there are so many!
Thanks for watching and for your detailed feedback! It is very interesting to hear details about the history and the current state of the area we flew over. Have a great day!
As they pass 400ft it was good to hear a radio call from G-KART at the flight school requesting radio check and departure details. I used to fly that PA28 over 25 years ago when I was a member of Newcastle Aero Club, sadly gone now, but happy memories. Good to hear it's still airworthy.
I always think flying in to Newcastle airport is a good reminder of how small the area is. We who live there tend to think its the centre of the universe, but you see how it's basically a small city surrounded by miles and miles of fields. If it were london, it would be miles and miles of houses.
@@ApproachandDepartureVideos My Sister RIP was Dan Air/BA flight Crew, Her Husband Lindsay was ATC at Newcastle ,Dan air and BA pilot. I'll always keep my soul heaven facing.
My home town. Fantastic approach, I watched you land this. Absolute butter on the runway. Wish I filmed it to send you, it could have been split screened in the movie. Never the less nice view of my coast line. I'm I right in saying St Mary's light house is the turning point?
Thanks for sharing the feedback! We were flying under radar vectors. After passing the light house, we got the vector to intercept the final approach. Maybe ATC is doing it like this for noise abatement.
Beautiful views coming into land never flown from Newcastle been past it many many times and despite formerly living in East Boldon ..looks a nice airport maybes one day insha'Allah
that was a great to watch thank you for sharing your flight I have Microsoft flight simulator and live in Durham I'm wanting to learn to fly over the Cathedral I used to watch planes take off from Newcastle on my driving brake if I was in the area again a grate video
Thank you very much for your good feedback! For privacy reasons, the callsign was omitted in the older videos. It is an Eurowings flight. The newer videos are different and contain the callsign and even more details in the description.
Love the video i would also like to see a 24/7 365 days year live cam of Newcastle international airport uk of the runway and terminal building on youtube
Watch a few now of your video's great work, question. which airport, you've not been to, that you would like to land at and why? Great FS Sim flyer here , always find Geneva and Gibraltar challenging but rewarding.
Thanks for the feedback! I have been to a lot of challenging and ineresting airports like Funchal, Samos, Mostar, Las Vegas ... I was several times in Geneva. I like the visual approach through the mountains very much. One airport I would like to fly to is Courchevel. It is in France. Elevation about 6600 feet and runway length only 1600 feet. This is for sure not long enough for the Airbus but most of the single engine planes can land there. Upslope for landing is about 19 percent.
For privacy reasons, I am unable to release the exact date and time and the registration. I am very sorry about that. Hopefully, this may change in the future. But for now I have no better answer.
Thanks for the feedback. Nice to hear that you found your house in the video. I hope that the airplanes approaching the airport do not make too much noise where you are living.

It's a pretty small airport. You get some nice views of the coastline, coming in to land.
Sunny Blakelaw over head .wow what a talent. Just stunning the size and power to land make it look so easy.
Thanks for watching and for leaving a comment! The weather was really sunny and beautiful during our approach. We enjoyed it very much.

Great footage, but i was wondering why did you fly to Newcastle? was it a charter or commercial flight?
Thanks for watching and the good feedback! This was a normal scheduled Eurowings flight. We came from Dusseldorf in Germany.

What is the approach into Newcastle is it STAR or Vectors
For runway 25, we usually fly the STAR which end at ETSES waypoint, south of the airport. Form there, ATC provides vectors.
Never seen my house from that view before
