The script is badly written. Instead of having a volcano consume the island, it would've made more sense to let the island sink into the ocean due to global warming, icecap melting, and rising sea levels. That would make the mosasaurus's escape explainable. I remember the mosasaurus lagoon being inland and not connected to open water. Don't know why suddenly the huge fish tank has a gate connected to the sea. Major Facepalm...

So the least ridiculous theory is that it was hibernating and woke up every now and again to take a bite out of the I. rex.

You're so lucky. The trailers give away the entire movie (except the dumb clone stuff). So if someone just watched the trailers and Attack of the Clones they'd have seen the whole thing.
I disagree with only 1 thing u said: That Jurassic World was *worse* than this crap. I don't think Jurassic World was good, but mediocre. But despite a bad story that film had a better story than this one did once you peel it back. Jurassic World's story was they created a new Dinosaur lab, called Jurassic World using the DNA of actual dinosaurs that Hammond and Dr. Wu was experimenting on. Then Wu re-started this project with the idea of controlling the breeding, and hiring people like Claire and the new indian man. It was way better, while still dumb. It was different enough to be enjoyable, whereas Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom's story is the Volcano destroys the Island so they must mount a rescue. Totally a flaming mess compared to the original J-World yet still neither one should exist.(nor JPIII mind you)
Even if it had a intriguing script, Trevorrow isn't a good script writer(he's terrible) So yea, people can hate Jurassic World more for that. It's a terrible decision and far worse than Lost World.

Transformers was absolute shit after Revenge of the Fallen but that didn’t stop Michael Bay, people knew what they were going to watch, coined as Bayos (Michael bay and chaos), and to a certain extent the fast and furious franchise, you know the next film is likely absolute shit but we won’t stop watching them for the sake of nostalgia
but Red you don't understand, if they would have taken them to Isla Sorna, there would be no third movie, as Hollywood can't make a third if the protagonist do the sensible thing and take them to an island they have already thrived on once before, as it would not lend itself to the wonder's of having Dinosaurs in America for their three film money maker.
Would this make Jurassic world 1 better: T. rex comes out of paddock 9 and she is confused then she sees the flare she thinks is might be feeding time ? The T. rex follows and she sees indominus rex and like an animal she was interested in indominus rex she never seen such a thing rexy come closer and closer and then indominus rex scratch her then rexy roared and stand tall displaying her dominions and indominus rex replies back and then that fight
As to why the dinos weren't taken to site B: the five deaths are located right on the Pacific ring of fire, which means that more likely than not, they also have volcanoes that would eventually kill the dinosaurs. JP2 even mentions there was a geothermal powerplant (and therefore volcanic activity) on Isla Sorna.
Regardless, they really should have gave Isla sorna one more visit in the JW sequels. Because if something bad was going on in site B sometime after JP3, like maybe some kind of a disease, then really should have been the kind of thing that was shown and not just told.

I've loved dinosaurs all my life and watching these JW movies...It's like someone digging up your dead dog and using it as a pinata.
