- Crimson Elizondo, an officer who is under investigation for her role as a state trooper during the Uvalde school shooting in May, has been fired from her new role as a school district police officer.

@@357SWAGNUM_MAGA_X that’s not really how a professional unit should operate, everyone freaking out and charging in. This is 100% on the chief and higher ups who did not challenge him. But the chief surrounded himself with brown nosers.

The answer is to revoke her POST certification permanently. It's true, without revoking that cert, she'll just take a month's vacation and surface in a new department in the next county over, it happens all the time.

She was fired because she was “caught on camera” saying some effed up stuff, what about the hand-sanitizer-man “caught on camera”? What about all the others “caught on camera” doing nothing? I hope every police department in the country sees this story and never hire ex-officer Elizondo to their department. She failed her basic duty to serve and protect the people of the State of Texas as an officer in the Texas State Police.
With the prior investigation conducted by the TX State Troopers, and now terminated by the Uvalde School District P.D her police certification ought to be revoked.

I believe that if you choose to have a child while being a police officer, you should only have desk duty because your fear of not seeing your family took that same feeling away from those kids.
I heard otherwise that she and other officers were ordered to hold and to not enter the building which is why she said what she said. Not taking sides, however, it's easy to sit back and judge people who were in a high risk, intense situation.
This is not hindsight clarity. There is zero defense for any of those officers.

The officer can't make a statement that if her kid was in there that she wouldn't be standing around. One of the first responding officers had a wife who died in that shooting. Just goes to show that talk is all talk till you take action.

My deceased husband was a school police officer here in Southern California and we have loads of Sheriffs that work for city transportation only. They lazy and scared to be on the front lines. I know my deceased husband was but think they all that and a bag of chips. I’m going to be honest I was going to be a sheriff but definitely did not want to be on the front line. I decided to continue in the Insurance field. They scared y’all just want a paycheck and the awesome benefits that come with it. They are not the only ones either. They are not here to serve and protect like ages ago. It’s different
Most cops become cops because it's an easy job, with lots of overtime and great health and retirement benefits.
And if you screw up and hurt a citizen, then your union will swoop in and save your ass.

I know an EMT who responded with a Voluneer Fire Rescue company. When he went inside to a keroscen e heater case. Him and the lT found a guy lying next to the heater. EMT asked LT to help him get the patient outside. LT said wait for the Chief. EMT removed the heater right away. LT wanted to suspend him for disobeying an order. EMT said ok. Non EMT LT was told he would face charges of ineterfering with a patients life. Why didn't any of these officers do their jobs? Then they could of fought the Chiefs wrongful orders later on by rightfully saving lives. Volunteer or paid. First Responders job is to do the right thing. One of the scenes the officer could of gotten down in a prone position around the corner and taken the guy out. Why do I say that? Because the shooter would of most likely been looking eye level. Watching for cops standing.
Also remember.... they knew the identity of the shooter. They knew he was NOT an Uber trained special forces assassin. They knew he wasn't even a boot camp level soldier...... Which made it no surprise the first person to try was successful and unharmed.
What about all the other cowards of Uvalde? Are they still going to be allowed walk around with weapons pretending to be police officers?
