    Every cop that was on scene that day standing around needs to be charged with dereliction of duty. Every one that entered the building and stood around also needs accomplice to murder tacked on to it.
    The woman that got hired and fired was on video going in, leaving, and stating if it was her kid in there she would go in but her kid wasn't in there. I don't know how these chicken cops even still have the nerve to show their face in this community, much less try to get new jobs working for the school. Just remember...When that terrible day happened, the reports were there was a school resource officer that engaged the murderer. Where did that come from? Does a force of three officers have a SRO? I told my wife it's a cover-up as it was all going down.

    Are regular police officers even trained to handle such situations? I thought maybe specially trained swat teams and negotiators were supposed to do these things.

    • @AlcideIzMine
      @AlcideIzMine Рік тому +5

      They were all trained. The Uvalde PD even had active shooter training at Robb Elementary just months prior. Problem is they refused to adhere to the training. Same for the 300 other fully trained officers that showed up.
      Uvalde PD has even previously posted themselves on their Facebook posing in their expensive SWAT gear and with their expensive weapons. Nothing but cosplaying Gravy Seals.

      I think it varies wi9dely. IMO there should be a federal competency test ALL officers need to pass (written as well as physical) before they are LISCENSED to even be considered 'POSSIBLY hirable by a police force."

    • @SarcasticData
      @SarcasticData Рік тому

      Not only were they trained to handle this very specific scenario, they had a very high budget paying for all the equipment they needed. The ONLY thing they lacked was the guts to follow their oath:
      "On my honor, I will never Betray my integrity, my character Or the public trust. I will always have the courage to hold myself and others accountable for our actions. I will always maintain the highest ethical standards and uphold the values of my community, and the agency I serve."
      You tell me, is that an oath that these officers stood by or did they hide from it by saying "I was just following orders!"?

    Simply creating a school police department without proper oversight is a recipe for disaster. Were these people hired because of their merits or because of political patronage and nepotism? It's high time for a genuine investigative reporter to dig into the hiring processes at Uvalde CISD and other school districts throughout the state of Texas.
