The simple fact that she kicked a rock away that was holding the door open - clearly implies that the door was a locking type door. And she did everything right. But in the knee jerk reactionary media frenzy for "inflammatory narratives" they MADE UP one that she did not lock the door or that somehow it was her fault. See - video for simple logic regarding a locked type school door. BUT was later found to be broken / not working. AND IF the door did not have the wire mesh inside the glass - he likely could have just shot out the window along side the door and reached his hand in to get in - so there's that as well.

Late but I don't have any physical injuries but I shake like that when recounting my past trauma from an abusive childhood. Or when lightning hits too closely because I was almost hit as a kid. Literally stuttering over words and making odd movements and it's entirely involuntary. You have to talk through it like it isn't there. Your body is going to do as it does.
God bless that Lady!! May God Almighty bless you and give you peace in your heart & soul~🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
My heart goes out to this woman ..
This poor woman! I can’t even listen to this interview without crying! Peace, love and prayers for her and all concerned
All of the law enforcement that did nothing while those babies were being killed should be fired. Blaming this poor woman is a tragedy. God bless this woman
I pray for her peace.
So many instances of attempts of blaming the victims of these horrible events is disheartening. I will forever send my love and support to the survivors, and the families of the deceased.
Why wouldn't you blame her? That's the door that gave access to the killings!
You can see her shaking still happening man.
The fact that law enforcement blame her just to cover up their mistakes is just disgusting. They make the whole town turn up against her without any proof.. I also heard about this rumor but I never once blamed her unless I saw proof and My gut feeling was right.. may you heal and be in peace you are also brave woman that did what you can to save those children, especially when that shooter was coming towards you in that building
The shooter used that door to gain access! The video shows her using that door!!
@@davidsmiths5471 and didn't you hear her!! In the video it awfully show her kicking a rock so she can lock it with she thought that it was locked!!! It's the school district to blame not her they're the ones that failed to put new locks on the doors!!!!!!!
@@supremekingjesus425 Yes I did watch the video! She admitted she kicked the rock away from proping the door open! Where I work if your using something to keep a door open! That means that door is suppose to closed and locked at all times! And she never checked to see if that actually locked! Like pushing or pulling to make sure it was actually locked! Who's the next person through that door the shooter!
poor woman she seems like she blames herself in a way for that day..qmd still in disbelief and shock...my gosh so heartbreaking
Millions blamed her for days, The cops really did a bad thing.
@@wadestanton yes i agree she should of never been put in that situation, she was a victim herself.
Yes i muchly agree, i could not imagine the stress she goes though because of it...she is a survivour.
She is to blame! That's the door the shooter used!
@@davidsmiths5471 lets blame the makers of the door cause if they had not made it, the shooter would of not used it.🤭
Poor women you can clearly see she is suffering with anxiety and Possible PTSD
Sue the police for mental anguish. Defamation due to negligence.
There’s an innocence in all of us in some way, shape or form. A belief that if you’re a good person and do what you should, everything will be fine and you’ll stay out of trouble. And then something happens that strips that veil from you and you can never go back to where you were just seconds before. That’s what makes me sad for her. She will never feel that level of safety or comfort ever again and in its place there will always be a level of anxiety that sits there and vibrates
Well said.
I feel terrible for her :( Just compounding the sadness of the event. I know healing is not fast but I pray it's a smooth road ahead of her
My hearts breaks…I’m so so sorry😢😢😢❤❤
Seriously can people check on her and make sure she's ok? This broke my hesrt
She closed the door but the door doesn't lock. There are always what if's during horrible events. The the guilt she has to carry for the rest of her life. So unfair for her.
The cowards put the blame on this poor lady who was more brave to close the door, and risk her own life by screaming from where she is while the shooter is approaching.
This is so heartbreaking she’s so sweet. The way she moves while talking I hope this wasn’t caused by the shooter
She shakes because of the trauma of the shooting and the blame she endured.
She wasn’t shot, she’s shaking because of PTSD.
Uvalde law enforcement and Texas law enforcement blamed the victim and she was one of those victims. She may not have died, but she is still traumatized by it all. To be clear, I am a native Texan and live in Texas.
So your okay with staff proping doors open?
@@davidsmiths5471 LE retracted there statement that the door was left propped open. Get a life troll! You've replied to countless comments on here and have shown you have no clue what your talking about.
Oohh my goodness poor lady!! Oh my goodness heartbreaking! 😢💔
Even if everyone knows her story now, she clearly has been emotionally damaged by this. She should sue.
Salvador Ramos and the parents who raised him caused this tragedy. Increasingly that seems to be lost in the media. Let's not lose sight of that in blaming everybody else.
this heartbreaking, praying for this lovely woman
She should sue the living daylights out of the DPS and the Press
I hope she sues them!
God bless her heart she's actually a hero. She seems to have more balls than any of the police had. She was calling for help she was trying to get the kids in order to help them. God bless her in my eyes she's a Hero!
Man i feel so bad for her
I feel so sad for all involved, and this lady didn't deserve to be blamed for that mad man's actions and those cops should all be fired for throwing her under the bus
How did he get into a supposedly secure building then?
It is so upsetting that on top of dealing with the trauma of that day she had to put up with being Wrongfully accused of contributing to what happened.
She violated a standard policy, should we forgive her?
@@AFuller2020 The teachers reported that door’s maintenance requirement prior but to no avail. I wasn’t surprised base on that information as my high school in the valley of California also has broken “lock” doors that were never replaced despite reported. “Should we forgive her-“ and who are YOU to be owed forgiveness ? You’re a nobody to her and she’s dealing with enough
That teacher is seriously traumatized!! Thank you, McGraw!! Point fingers first investigate later!!
This poor woman is so traumatized that I could not overlook the fact how she is visibly shaking. The cops ruined her life with that false statement and the community probably hates her now. I hope she can find peace and she definitely needs counselling. I agree that she should sue the cops for the hell they have unleashed on this woman. So Sad.
As someone who’s currently in severe trauma therapy for PTSD (EMDR/CBT) she has a long road ahead…
This poor woman my heart goes out to her.
My love and best wishes to this wonderful woman🌸💕
This teacher is a hero we love you and thank you for everything you did and have done with those students
This is so sad. All this talk about misinformation with little interrogation of the willful deception of armed agents of the state. A profile in strength and courage; her cup shall overflow.

ian...and now, i think i will try to protect myself...instead of trusting' GOOD GUYS WITH GUNS'!!
@@donnadayle3762 I def dont blame u even tho i dont agree that is the answer to the bigger problem.
OMG, this lady is traumatized. She is even shaking. 😢😢😢
5 months ago .. & yet this video still makes me cry.
Wow this lady really did do exactly what she was supposed to do at the exact right time and still got blamed wow this shooting 😞
She went out of a side door during working hours on he clock, why? Was is really worth it?
@@AFuller2020 you didn’t hear her? She said was going to meet a teacher outside. When she came back in the door was supposed to lock itself like usual so it was NO where near her fault.
Thank God for videos that tell the truth!
Heartbreaking
I worked in Colorado and all teachers would prop door open to go to the cars are go to lunch! Everyday we did this! Everyone knew th3 door was open! Please please don’t blame yourself! You did RIGHT, actually you gave the police plenty of time to stop the carnage that ensued!
Yep and it could have been you that got all of those kids killed, dumbass. She violated school policy. You are a fukin dumbshit and your thinking on this matter further reinforces my thinking that we have imbeciles “teaching” our children today.
Those doors shouldn’t be open like that in the first. Not a good idea.
Are you suppose to prop those doors open? And how would you check to make sure the door locked!
I am crying watching her😢😢. I feel so bad for her. She tried her best to protected the kids. I am so sorry to see you suffering like this. I hope you get the justices.
She literally closed the freaking door to think that the police knew this 😡😡
Closing the door and making sure that it is properly secured are two different matters, fukin idiot. She is the reason the killer gained access to the school because the door that she propped open is the door that he came through.
Yes she did close the door, but never checked to see if it actually locked by pushing or pulling on it!
@@davidsmiths5471Umm in my high school we have some doors to the east side that lock automatically and they only open from the inside im guessing this door was supposed to lock but the school board was cheap and they didn’t wanna fix a dam lock
@@davidsmiths5471 The doors are supposed to lock, with not needing to check, this has been protocol since Columbine. Even if she had locked the door, the shooter would have gotten in and still killed.
God bless her, and may he take all her worries and sorrows away. She too lost a lot that day. 🙏🙏🙏
Looks like the police just took the easy way out and blame the the only person who did something to save the kids!
That was completely heartbreaking. These LEOS do this same thing when writing incident reports and testimony that ruins lives of innocent people all over. What are the consequences for them? None.
Wow this lady has been through so much
I pray she finds some sort of comfort
It's about six months later and I'm only just now learning that this was a false claim, the retractions are never as widespread as the misinformation. This teacher is owed more than just that
Ms. Amy......
Oh how my heart breaks for you. To hear things you said and to watch you tremble is just devastating.
I want to say THANK YOU for doing right and caring for our children.
I don't know if you have a relationship with God, but I'm praying for you.
Dear Father in Heaven, please give Amy some comfort in her time of need. She has scars that may never heal, but I know that you can help. We don't understand why these things hai, but we know that You are the Almighty GOD and you see and hear and know ALL.
In your Son's name, Jesus Christ

My heart breaks for her those teachers all the students that witnessed what happened that day. 🙏🏽
I can’t even imagine she now goes everyday thinking of this tragedy💔 she’s literally shaking!!!

Okay step back! Watch the video with out sound! Then say to yourself, how did the shooter get into this school?
