When you command that the police stand outside the classroom door and listen to shots being fired and kids being killed one by one, you need to get fired!!
Not what happened..The principal never ordered a lockdown, didn't want to "alarm the kids"...as the maniac just strolled through open doors and down the hall and into the classroom. Most of the killing was over in the first few minutes before there were any Cops on site. How these work..
@@seewulf2385 I guess you missed the part of the video with the cops standing outside the classroom, where the media said they silenced the video so you couldn’t hear the children screaming. Either you are not familiar with the facts or you are a flat out liar.
@@digitalwasabi2 I watch a video stating the FACT that it took 3 MINUTES for POLICE TO ARRIVE ON SCENE? That same video said the the SHOOTER FIRED OFF 100 ROUNDS IN THOSE SAME 3 MINUTES that those kids and teachers all died in! They were all dead in 3 minutes! I would be more concerned with why the principal or the teacher DIDN'T HIT THE DOOR LOCK DOWN BUTTON after hearing gun shots near by? You know when the shooter fired at those 2 men near the school! Or when the shooter fired through the windows of the school!

They took so long bc the chief was hoping people wouldn't care as much and forget if he just waited a few months but we didn't forget and remained angry over what he didn't do.

Union. "At will employment" allowing for being laid off or fired holds true for normal (non-union, non-contract) employees. In most businesses, with no employment contract, and with no union, the employer can fire you at any time.
It took time because the district had to rely on attorneys to (1) make sure there is valid justification for the dismissal, and (2) how to carry out the firing because (3) they know there will be a court case, a lawsuit filed against the district so that he can keep his job.
In law enforcement, at least in some regions, if you get fired, you become ineligible to be hired in a different police department. It's a real black stain that cannot be hidden. What that means in a case like this is, you have a highly-paid employee knowing he will probably never be hired again for that type of job, making him desperate to fight the firing.

What a joke of a man. Many more need to be fired. Anyone in that chain of command who ordered officers hold or failed to order a charge into that room needs to go. Anyone who held men back, needs to be fired. They're on camera.
The police chief should return all pay since the day after the massacre at Robb Elementary School. Moreover, his pension(s) should be revoked, as well. His total and complete incompetence caused lives---of CHILDREN !
How did he "CAUSE" lives?
I vote death penalty. For all officers involved that refused to act. If that makes people too squeamish, then treat them like felons. No voting rights, most jobs wont hire them, seen as pariah's in society. Most of them would kill themselves in a few years. Which also works for me.

Perhaps everyone involved in the failure to secure the school should also be fired, everyone of them should have known something like what happened was going to happen. I feel for the parents of the lost children and the families of the teachers, having lost a child early on it makes you want to find someone to blame, but no one can predict if and when such things will happen. There is a lot of blame to go around, but all the blame lands on the shooter who did the act with evil intent of hurting everyone he could. Prayers for the families of those lost to evil hate.

Unbelievable failure to protect those children. What was the excuse for not going in to close the gunman down? Cowardice? Afraid of the aftermath for killing someone on his watch? Ridiculous belief that negotiations could be held with the gunman? There are chief officers like this in the UK that also dither and worry about the impact on their careers before making decisions that could save life. Not on a scale like this, but I believe its only a matter of time.
So sad. None of this will bring back those lovely children. Can't imagine the sadness of those families and survivors. These cops showing no guilt or remorse is really disturbing and disappointing.

Was the police chief there on the scene? did he tell the cops on scene to run off and let the guy kill? everyone blaming everyone, home schooling? right to bear arms? 80% divorces filed by woman taking kids fathers out their lives letting Uncle Sam in, it's all sad and our young one's are paying for it while we blame everyone else.
