Wow! That's a great video. The camping trip with the motorcycle looks really delicious. The sight of you running down the forest road is the best moment. I'm glad to be a friend of your great channel. 👍👍👍🤝🤝🤝🤙🤙👌
Thinking about getting a trailer for my gold wing. However I'm getting older and seems like it would be easier to get a room. Love the ride though. Looks like you had fun and I just subscribed to your channel.
Thanks for the sub! If you like camping you should look at the leesure lite campers. The setup is so easy. I think that hauling everything in the Hotel would be more work sometimes. I do have a cargo trailer also so to me it’s about having the options. Plus when going on an extended day ride the camper is nice for us for 2 reasons, ambiance and the savings to stay the night. Ride Safe!
@@FiretuckAdventures thanks for the info. Question for you is I used to go camping with a 30ft travel trailer and I decided after kids were grown to sell and get a boat. However is it as much work setting up as it was going camping with a vehicle? How long does it take from the time you arrive to when you are done and ready to relax. Have you timed it?
@@mosmotorcyclejourney9067 I have had several travel trailers over the last 20 years and we decided to sell them about 4 years ago. After being without we realized we missed it. Yes the RV’s are a lot of work. As far as the LL I would say within about 15mins everything is set up including the awning, chairs and misc. stuff. If you are just settle camper and nothing else, it only takes about 5 mins. It would take less but I have a rack on the back that I have to remove before the camper expands. There are a few videos on setup out there.
@@FiretuckAdventures great info to have. And considering you had a travel trailer in the past you understand the set up that goes with it. Thank you so much and have a Happy Easter. I'm gonna look into them.
Love that campground. Started going there in the early 80's when Henry & Dee got it running. Dee's kitchen was fantastic. I even have my old MC license plate, FTW-7 , hanging in the kitchen pavilion.
Fire Tuck I believe there is a carving of statue of some kind near the office of a motorcycle in a tree. That really happened! Our group was leaving our stay and of of our guys on a Goldwing went off the road just past the campground on the way to Waynesville. His bike was actually stuck in a tree by the river bank. Henry, the original owner, got his pickup truck, backed it up to the tree, and with our help, dragged it out of the tree and took it back to the campground and stored it, till our friend mended his fractured ribs at the Heywood Med. Ctr. We had many a nite by the campfire telling 'lies', and if anyone got out of hand after 11, Henry would come out and hose the fire down.😂
I like your channel its because its different than in a car or an SUV I think it takes 5 to 6 dollars to fill them up I could be wrong but anyway I'm going to start watching you're videos I'm new on here and I'm beginning to like your channel and outstanding road footage
Thanks. Your comment means a lot. I’m just really starting off myself and really love to watch others and the adventures they go on. That made me want to start to do the same. The mountain roads are definitely nice to look at but unfortunately I live in the flat land closer to the coast. We are looking forward to next year to go on some more trips and as you can see, there will definitely be a video to follow.
I think tent trailers make all the difference in the world for MC camping. I hauled my Mini Mate down that way two falls ago in the middle of October. A little brisk in higher elevations. Coming back to Newfoundland meant a few days riding with some snow lol. Looking forward to seeing more of your camping.
Thanks we have enjoyed it so far. Only had chance to use it once away from home. Your videos are some of the few that lit the bug in me to buy one. So far I am very pleased with this type of camping. Definitely better than the tent setup I had before and now the wife wants to go.
@@FiretuckAdventures I am looking forward to mine slowing me down. Not so much speed wise but by using it as a base camp for exploring. I'm still having trouble getting out of the "2 week vacation" mentality. Hope to do a series on camping in Newfoundland next summer and spend at least 30 nights in the trailer. Should be able to get the girlfriend to come along for a few of those nights.
Yeah I hope to retire in a couple of years so the excitement what to do is still in the planning stages for us. Hope to see you at a campsite one day. Ride safe!
Ha! I’m so glad I brought that heater. I remember your camper. Didn’t you have a diamond plate box on the front? Me and Kristi thought that was a nice add on!
@@FiretuckAdventures Yes found at Tractor Supply had been looking for something but all was to heavy went to get horse feed and saw the box could pick it up with one hand and best part on sale 1/2 price works great for light but bulky gear. Also recommend 2 Wheels of Suches great campground. And also check out motocampers.
You will love it if camping is y’all’s thing. We have had large travel trailers in the past and to us this so more fun. To start with she thought it was a crazy idea but now is glad she followed my lead.
They are great campers. I have had mine for 5 years. Been all over the west in it. Rain, wind, even light snow. Well made and durable. Love the fact I can stand up in it. Holds all my camping gear including small table, Mr Buddy heater, chair etc. Sets up in one min. too. Weighs only 250 lbs.
There are cheaper ones but this is the best. Fasted setup you can put it up in rain and take it down in rain and all your stuff is not exposed best construction get the mattress they make so worth it.
My insomniac self stumbled across this video. I have a 2010 Goldwing, I also MotoVlog, I'm seriously thinking about a camper to pull around, my wife is ridiculously shy, especially around cameras, and I live in Weaverville N.C..... Great video. Does the LL have an add a room option? Looks like a decent camper! Stay Well!
That’s great. Thanks for subscribing! Yea it has a add a room option available but I don’t have it. You can put the room on one side and the awning on the other with the LL.
It’s been a couple of years since we have been. The year after when we planed to go a flood came through and did a lot of damage. I would hate to tell you wrong but I’m sure they have it listed on there website.
Not really sure. I have a 1800cc and it has no problems. I have seen folks pull them with smaller Harleys. I would say a minimum of 1000cc if I had to guess but I would definitely research it before I did it.
I'm referring to your driving habits, not your political persuasion. Left lane is for passen Bro. Sorry for the gruff comment earlier. Merry Christmas!
@43wagonwheel...you mean the 2 that dog paddled their way out of the campground driveway and onto the highway? That was one of the scariest things I've seen in a while...the entire time I was thinking, too bad they are not on real bikes that actually turn and handle. smh.
@@RealJayPowell all jokes aside those folks were really nice to talk to. Everybody has different skill levels and I don’t like to judge. With that being said I always pay attention to other riders and give them the room they need to “ride their own ride”. I can say this.... there were out doing what they loved and like anyone, skill level will improve with the miles. No I found this one used about 2 hours from my house. You occasionally find them for sell but they tend to sell quickly.

What kind of heater were you using?

Bikers doing biker stuff! Very Cool
Yep. Can’t wait to do it again!

It’s a Canadian company. They were just bought out by another that is going to carry on production.
