Live PULSE 1994 version is much more cleaner, tighter and more spectacular show. Plus you get them background singers getting involved. Check it out. I do enjoy their trippy midsection in this.
You really need to sit and listen to the album from beginning to end, in a dark room wearing headphones. Mind-altering substances are supposed to enhance the experience, but I don't indulge, and I still find the experience to be worth my time.
One of my all time favourite bands that mixes sounds with good bluesy/jazz/rock music that takes the listener on a journey and brings you back exhausted but satisfied feeling of getting more than you pay for every time
Well if you love this version then check out the whole content. Live in Oakland 1977. There is a copy on UA-cam. Has the full Animals album, then all of WYWH. My fav live album!
Love the grit and the rawness of this version. Obviously their concerts became so much more polished but there’s something to be said for seeing them in this way. ❤️🔥
Live in Portland.. another beautiful city gone to shit. No autotune on that....which is pretty evident, not taking away from the Floyd, but as a studio trained live engineer....the vox are all over the place.
I seen Pink Floyd live at Hughes Stadium in Sacramento, Ca . It was beyond any thing one might imagine in a live concert. It was one of the most remarkable experinces of my life. No kidding. I am 63 now . The Sound litterally pierced your body I felt like a tuning fork . well thats all I gotta say about that. peace
I just had an evening 2 nights ago where I just laid back in the dark with a nice glass of Maker's Mark and listened to the entire album. Twas glorious!!
Pink Floyd is one of my all time favorites, I used to listen to Learning to Fly every time I flew back and forth to visit my dad after my parents split up. it's the best flight take off song ever
If you like "Raw Pink Floyd" doing something heavy right before heavy metal was a thing..... Check out - Pink Floyd - "The Nile Song" recorded February 1969!
Pink Floyd was bbbaaad in my younger years!! I actually went to a concert and they had a light show that was bad-a**!! Now this is real music from the 70s to today, maybe even 60s. A lot of fantastic rock n roll music from the late 60s to 90s is just jam Van! Great reaction too! Thank you!
That's some guy named David Gilmour on guitar! He's actually a pretty good guitarist I say with my tongue firmly planted in my cheek! I was lucky enough to see this tour in 1977 at least I think that's when this was cuz it sounds like what they played for their encore after three hours of great music!!! Check out David gilmour's guitar skills during the 1994 Pulse concert for the live version of "Comfortably Numb"!! That way you can actually see him play guitar with a somewhat okay light show..... again tongue-in-cheek.....
First time I come across your vids, probably because I have a record number of Pink Floyd searches on YT. I really enjoyed your reaction. This live version is quite rough but well chosen to show how tight they were in concert. Not sure if you plan to do another Pink Floyd reaction, but if one day you do, please have a go at the studio version of "Great gig in the sky"...the vocal performance is just something else and the history of it puzzling. I still love my Aretha Franklin and Ella Fitzgerald best overall, but on that day, on that track, Clare Torry redefined singing. Anyway, if you haven't already listened to it a thousand times, maybe one day...Thanks for the good vibes and greetz from France.
Such a nice change to see something positive on this channel, instead of divisive political nonsense from some of the most illinformed clowns you could find.
So you're getting a nice little taste of this Floyd classic but it's a rather amateurish gritty recording. Pink Floyd is all about that production, be it Live or in studio. Please do yourself a favor and check out the studio version of "Money" and or the live Pulse version. You'll totally see what I mean.
You might be shocked to hear Pink Floyd was the highest attended and grossing live concert act of the entire 1980’s. Michael Jackson was second highest.
Nice right.. so tight.. so creative.. they definately had their sugar ice tea together.. a show.. yeah. A journey is perhaps a more accurate description
It's to bad the live recording technology was rubbish back in the early 70s. But check out the Pulse concert from 1994. Roger is gone but replaced by a much better bass player. The rest of the band is older wiser and better.
Did you not react to LIVE at PULSE for Comfortably Numb.............hell, you should reacft to the entire PULSE concert...............I cannot believe you have missed that...........do a couple a day back to back covering the whole concert.............Also when they were very young, they released a LIVE performance in a 2000 year old stadium, Pompei, Italy...........it is called ECHOES...........and the drums and guitar talk to each other........this ancient city was destroyed by a volcano killig everyone and the whole vibe there in this video is amazing..........
Listened to a podcast the other day that described them as either the best band ever or utter dog-shit. I have to agree. Music for stoned teenagers to have their minds blown to, making songs about time and money, deep ay?🤣🤣 whilst also being a bunch of incredibly boring middle class posh school boys who've worked out how to make some cash.

Agreed!!
How good can IT get?, musical goosebumbs to this live RAW gem, so much resonance to your words and reaction, Go on, Bro 😎🤩😍
One of my all time favourite bands that mixes sounds with good bluesy/jazz/rock music that takes the listener on a journey and brings you back exhausted but satisfied feeling of getting more than you pay for every time
They are one of the best bands of all “time” period! ✌️
Electroniic, Progressive, psychedelic, classical, baroque and Folk too.
Probably the best live band in music history. Great sound, great visual show.
This is fvcking GREAT!! First time I've ever heard this live version :)
Glad you like it! Thanks for the support!
Well if you love this version then check out the whole content. Live in Oakland 1977. There is a copy on UA-cam. Has the full Animals album, then all of WYWH. My fav live album!
A band definitely well ahead of their time!!!
Love the grit and the rawness of this version. Obviously their concerts became so much more polished but there’s something to be said for seeing them in this way. ❤️🔥

Pink Floyd created the live stadium experience.

I'm over here thinking "is he reacting? ST-- Oh no, there won't ever be a good time tho' so,..." then laughing my _ off!
I just had an evening 2 nights ago where I just laid back in the dark with a nice glass of Maker's Mark and listened to the entire album. Twas glorious!!
Love your reaction from what one of the greatest songs from one of the greatest albums ever!
I could have gone to that show, damn! Van, you need to see them in "Echoes" live in Pompeii, 1971-72, also "Comfortably Numb" at Pulse, 1994.
Pink Floyd is one of my all time favorites, I used to listen to Learning to Fly every time I flew back and forth to visit my dad after my parents split up. it's the best flight take off song ever

🤘🧙♂️🤘
Rich the Ancient Metal Beast
One of their best songs is The Dogs Of War, it's also got some sick sax playing in it you'd love it.
Dogs of War is my fav PF song, with Time as a close second.
The whole Oakland 1977 concert is amazing

They're only the notoriously greatest live rock act of all time.

1992 i saw them live here in copenhagen it was so next level and the lightshow was like from the future
Check out Echoes live from Pompeii.
One of my all time favorite bands. This song I happen to prefer the studio version, but they're awesome no matter how ya slice 'em!

Check out my main channel, I have more Pink Floyd over there you might enjoy! Much love!
Lots of experimentation in that studio! I loved the clocks in 'Time'!
@@LFRFAMILYPLUS how many channels do you have? Gday from Australia!
Great bass face heheh 😅
Pink Floyd is always better live!! Greatest Band ever!!!!!
You might be shocked to hear Pink Floyd was the highest attended and grossing live concert act of the entire 1980’s. Michael Jackson was second highest.

Dude, any Live tracks on Pink Floyd, should come from the Pulse Concert if it was featured.
Give Story of My Life by Social Distortion a listen sometime please.
