That middle jam session is one of my favourite parts of Pulse. And yes, those voices at the end are part of the song: they're from the original studio recording on Dark Side Of The Moon, and they feature throughout the album as the 'voices of society'. Fun fact: two of those voices are from the parents of actress Naomi Watts; her father was a Pink Floyd roadie in the 70s.
@@jim5247 they toured DSOTM in the early 70s, too. You can get high quality bootlegs of their performances in Japan and mediocre bootlegs of a couple others
There's just something about listening to a Master playing a note on their chosen tool, and to couple that with yet another Master on their piece, or a few Masters playing together, each with their favorite appendage, or better yet, to listen to a Master Group all going at it! I put "Money" right up there with the best Pink Floyd has to offer!
Money was Pink Floyd's first huge hit in America in 1973. Though they may have had somewhat of a cult following up till then, this is the song that pretty much put them on the map here and help expose music lovers around the world to the genius that is Dark Side of the Moon. Little did we know Money would be just the tip of the tip of the iceberg.
not to many left on pulse. Pink Floyd " Keep Talking" 1080 ph Pulse. Intro by the late Stephen Hawkings, lyrics by Dave, wife Polly and the late Rick Wright.
In the middle of the tour, Dave started to play the whole D.S.O.T.M. I think he new this was it for him touring as the Floyd. ( as a farewell ) I happen to see it for the first time played in Michigan from start to finish. They never tour this album. They only play some of it. SAX- Dick Parry friend and session player was shoeing horse when Dave called him. "Hey Dick you want to go play some music around the world " Dah! I'm packing now
Lockdown would be a good time to set 45 minutes aside to listen to Dark Side Of The Moon in its entirety. It will be a trip and a half but, hey, at least an hour would have passed where you could forget about the world and lose yourself in the journey that the album is. A dark room and headphones will only improve the feeling. Stay safe.
You've never heard "The Dark Side Of the Moon" album? You must correct that, but do it as an album, not individual songs, as it's one long song in itself.
Ah, sorry to hear that, it seems rather inconsistent as other uploaders have sometimes got away with it. Maybe do the individual tracks in order close together so you get the overall buzz from the album?
If you liked that guitar-voice ending, you're gonna love Wish You Were Here from the same concert. By the way, I saw you Another Brick reaction, and the video skipped a part... Try to eatch only from their official channel, they uploaded de entire concert track by track.
This Pulse concert is streaming live this Friday on the internet for a short time ua-cam.com/video/E9Iau_oik-E/v-deo.html Oh and you should do Dogs of war no one ever does it and the live version the pulse version its a side of Pink Floyd you havent seen since On the run from the wall..the sax player is amazing

Sax player named Dick Parry was The sax player from the album Dark Side, and was a childhood friend of Gilmour's.

Pink Floyd always takes you for a journey, in someway or another. Great songs, sometimes deep lyrics and outstanding instrumentation.
