CTG : it may be 100% scientifically inaccurate ...
Also CTG : /making side thrusters , that are forgotten on almost all sci fi spaceships/
Haha S2
A low-gravity racing spaceship, racing on, say, the moon? Completely possible.
Wow!!!! The spaceship is coming together beautifully 😊
Loving all of the details you have added. ❤😊❤
Thanks :)
Awesome work. The plumbing on the outside is fenominal.
Thank you so much!
Im always amazed at each of your builds because of how smooth everything comes together, like the entire piece is basically a normal kit you could get online even though its essentially made of trash and junk parts. If i may suggest, i feel like it needs some sort of fins or spoilers. I know it makes no sense in space, but having those just adds to what we normally perceive as "speed capable" vehicles, and it would add to the shape so it has that slight nod to speedboats and racing cars.
Thank you!! Yeah, I was debating the need for fins and aerodynamic structures.. Even included some on the sketches.. But I'm not sure if I'll add or not, still!
Rule of cool is a great way to work!
That wire really does an excellent job there. Glad to see this piece making progress!
Thank you!!
Glad the solder wire trick was helpful! Absolutely changed wiring details for me when I decided to try it.
Great work! Lookin forward to seeing the project finished.
Thank you!
The engine of a spaceship can make or break, and this one is beautiful!
Thank you so much!
You added RCS trusters, those are used on real life spacecrafts.
It's often forgotten that spaceships need additional trusters to proprely manuver.
WOWZERS! Looking spectacular. The level of detail is awesome... cannot wait to see this one finished/painted. Hoping for stripes and a number to push that racing aesthetic.
Thank you so much!
All of that detail work really takes it to another level! Looks great!
Thanks!!
Even at primer level its look gorgeous! Great work!
Thank you very much!
Primer is a wonderful thing.
It really is :)
Another awesome update 🙂🙏 I really.enjoy watching.your process. Great videos 👌
Thank you!
Amazing work man, and as for your "crazy talk" about the moon and low gravity etc , I've heard film industry effects people call that "Balonium" (baloney)
Interesting, definitely heard it before but had no idea of the meaning!
Great work! I love the wire detailing
Thank you :)
As usual, amazing work.
Thanks :)
Amazing work as always. So inspirational ❤
Thank you!
Always love watching the fine details go on and you can really picture the scale! So awesome
Thanks buddy!!
always kicking ass my guy. love the side thrusters and the detailing you got going on so far.
Thank you!
That'd be fun to get a strong directional light, another regular light of sorts, a black sheet of paper or something similar, then poke a buncha holes in the paper and shine a light through the back, then photograph with the directional light on one side to make like a outer-space background :)
Loved that idea
Try calibrating your flow and layer time on your 3d prints, it’ll make it look better and make it easier to finish well
I'm testing a different printer and switching filaments, didn't had time to properly optimize my profiles :)
Soldering wire is not the best to paint though and some if not most, have a synthetic fat inside that might interfere heavily with your paint! Stick to aluminium. Way safer.
Interesting, haven't thought about that! Thanks for the feedback buddy
Rite Transform Dude, Awesome work! TFS, GB :)
Thanks for being here buddy!
Looks great si far. Thanks for share
Thanks :D
nice one - keep going i cant wait :)
Thanks :)
Very impressive build! Perfect for a movie scene. Its a spaceship podracer, am I right? 😄
Thank you :D
OMG this is going way quicker and more precise than your other projects! Kudos por this amigo. By the way you continue with the idea of selling the parts to build the set of the four legged robot? the drone dog i think it was called
Thank you! I have abandoned that idea, at least for the near future... Kit was too big and complex, couldn't afford all rubber mold/resin for the development.. Not to mention how challenging it is being that big
@@CutTransformGlue 😸the same happen to me building a toy hahahaha, is good to know when to stop, good luck with this new project! Is looking amazing
The only thing I question is the little igniter(?) in the center engine nozzle, I feel like that would get melted off immediately, unless you have some lore to explain it
Yeah, I put it there thinking "igniter", but you're totally right!
Weird! I never caught the second. BRB, gotta catch up.
yeah second one got screwed by the algorithm, remember seeing it 4 hours after posting and it only had around 800 views
@miniops12 That sucks! I use the Subscribed tab and everything and I didn't end up spotting it last week for whatever reason. I love these projects.
Thanks buddy! Yeah, algorithm has been making things very hard
@@CutTransformGlue It's truly unfortunate! I'd like many more people to see how many truly cool things you make from humble parts. You've got the spirit of ILM and the skills to back it up.
What kind of glue are you using, please?
Mostly CA and sometimes epoxy or weld bond similar
@@CutTransformGlue What's CA, please?
