The Scratchbuild Spider Bot project is finally finished! It took me almost 3 months of hard work to get this one done in record time (for it's size and complexity I mean), and I'm really happy with how it came out. Please let me know in the comments what you think :)

The level of detail on this guy’s builds is something to be admired. Keep up the good work.
Thank you so much!
Spider-Bot, Spider-Bot
Does things Spider-Man just cannot.
It has wheels, it has guns.
If you see it, you should run.
Look out, here comes the Spider-Bot!
Thinking about it; this bot, crouching and reaching up and turning 360* etc at high-speed is actually terrifying! It must move like an ice-skater on steroids and speed!
Sir, you are god! beyond perfection!
Amazing Work as always!
Thank you!
this is wild
Thank you so much!!
Such talent and skill. Nice work as always 👍👍
Thank you!
your work is great
Thanks :D
not only is it a really wicked design, but also an absolutely incredible attention to detail and highest standards of craft
Thank you so much!
Any spider type of build and craft's are really cool looking
How the HELL do you not have at least a million subs? Keep 'em coming bro!!
Thank you :)
You make the coolest robots !!! Another awesome result 😊😊😊
Wow, this little contraption looks like the bit that was used to steal the “protomolecule” in the series The Expanse! Very cool
Thank you :)
I adore your work CTG and (as a modeller myself) I love your, 'if you can''t find the right greeblies then just print your own'. The hours spent 'shopping' through my junk boxes, fun though that can be is disappointing when you can't find 'just the right piece'. The paint job is superb too.
In my Mind Palace there is a Library and in the 'inspiration' section there is a whole section devoted to your technique. Cheers my friend.
Thank you so much for your words, means a lot!
Was looking forward to seeing that paint video for the legs you hinted at last week.
That is an amazing skill and the end result is 🔥🔥. Glad YT suggested a video worth watching. I subscribed and gotta check the rest of your vids now.
Thank you!
очень круто!!!!
I really like the turret cannon barrel(not sure what its called)! Just that part alone has really inspired me to think of doing my own little bot. Thank you for sharing sir.
ooh this is great, you should go for it!!
This project is layers upon layers of awesomeness. O resultado é ótimo, estou sem palavras. Muchas gracias por compartirnos tu arte y tu proceso
Another amazing creation. I love that you use so many found objects in your builds and stay away from dressing your creations using kit parts. Well done on another unique creation.
Thank you so much!
Your robots look like they're about to jump off the table and run off to fight their Boston Dynamics competitors.🤖
Nice one! Have you ever thought about recording your digital process for 3D printing? Would love know about your workflow :).
When gluing a "low-energy" plastic like PP (polypropylene), you can achieve a much stronger bond when "activating" the surface first. In an industrial setting this is done either with a plasma source or very hard UV radiation - which is a bit impractical in a hobby context. Alternatively, you can use the blue part of the flame of a storm lighter: just go over the surface quickly a couple of times until the total time of flame contact is about 1s. After that you have a 20-minute window to apply your quick-setting epoxy, which should be cured around minute 25 from the start of the activation process.
I've heard about that before and haven't really tested, gotta try that cause PP is so common! Thank you :D
I do alot of furniture repair. That epoxy putty can me molded if you wet your fingers in water or a spray bottle. It saves alot of sanding time. hope this helps. Great Video's BTW Let me know if it helps
Thank you for the tip, I sometimes make it smooth using alcohol, but I very much prefer sculpting than molding so usually I just wait for it to cure :)
😀
Came out great! Will you give it a base in the future?
Hopefully, yeah, when I get the chance.. Thanks! :)
Very cool rounded design on this bot, not your usual style, but I love 💙 it!! Though I am having a tough time seeing how those four legs operate with each of the wheels pointing away from the body...🤔🤷🏻♂️
Keep on keeping on good sir! 👍👍
Thank you so much! The idea is that the wheels can swivel 360 degrees, so hopefully it can skate around haha!
Muito foda!
+1
Man, i hope that you are wearing a mask because the amount of micro plastic particals flying in the air cant be healthy for you. Honestly, i wouldn't want to lose such a talented creator.
In this project I sanded and routed a ton of acrylic, so yeah, microplastics all over the place. not ideal :( .. I try to keep the vacuum running while doing it but it's definitely not enough, I should look for some respirators. Thanks buddy
