Pal save yourself a buck, get a can of brake clean it doesn’t damage the O-rings it’s been tested. If you read the instructions on the Motul chain lube, it should only be applied to the internal rollers. This is the most backwards procedure I’ve ever seen. We spray and brush at the same time to remove gunk and then a quick spray for rinsing. Or just dip a brush in kerosene and brush on it and then spray kerosene to rinse and wipe it off. Or use brake cleaner and wipe the chain section down with a cloth. But you however sprayed a shit loads of chain cleaner and when the solvent already evaporated off, only then you starts brushing on a dry chain. Like wtf? What is that plastic bristle is going to do on a already dried up chain? Might as well just get a bucket of soap and brush it all and wash it off with water since the beginning than waste half a can of chain cleaner and gain nothing from it. Not to mention the half of can of chain lube 😂 you should have buy a 5L jug of 80w-90 gear oil and just dump it all on the chain, pour it on your motorcycle, gas tank, radiator, tires, brake disc too for maximum lubrication.

Cheaper way to clean your chain is with kerosene in a spray bottle. Use it liberally, then wipe clean. Kerosene will not harm the O rings.

Kerosene will remove the internal grease behind the o rings. Would not reccomend. General degreaser is the cheapest best way to clean it in my opinion.

@@nathanhampf5400 kero does a great job, doesn't damage the O rings, it's cheaper, & I spray lube after I've cleaned the chain. I also have a Scottoiler system that oils my chain as I ride. Works off engine vacuum & has a control regulator for the drip feed oiler. Google search it, definitely recommend it.
