      I agree these videos are so good my son has DTX minnow 180 and caught a massive king mackerel on it swims amazing and he said it swims so cool at 8.69 knots it has a kind of slow calm swimming action on it.

    Been rocking with you guys for 4 years now in the Bahamas 🇧🇸. The DTX HD series is a game changer, honestly so far the DTX 180 has been catching the most fish so far for me. 30lb yellowfin tuna
    Decent Mahi
    20-30lb wahoo
    Nothing huge yet but it’s just going to be a matter of time!!!

    we test your products weekly here in Puerto Rico. Got a 50 pound wahoo on the DTX 180HD this week and a 42 pound wahoo on the DTX 140 2 weeks ago. Our best wahoo was 70 pounds on the Madmacs 200. Keep up the good work, love the video!

    This is amazing content but I would have LOVED to have a “fish count” for each lure. You expressed very clearly that the whole point was to test the number of fish you could pull in without tweaking the lure and yet only one time did you mention how many fish the lure had caught. In fact, there were a lot of catches on what seemed to be newly tied on lures.
    I’ve been using rapalas my whole life and I’m tempted to add a few DTXs to my tackle box. Throwing on a fish count for each lure would go a long way for me, personally, and I’m guessing for others as well. 👍🏽

    I had a brand new DTX 220 get cut off by a big boat while we were trolling in a panga out of jaco, Costa Rica….. I was pissed. Captains…. Ooooh welll….

    • @Baylessfishes

      Then my pink and clear got cut at gaff. I think the hoo smiled as it shook it head and swam away.

    Do you recommend using some wire for a trace? I would hate to have a bullet proof lure and get bitten off first time by a wahoo

    • @NomadTackle
      @NomadTackle  Місяць тому +2

      Its the never ending question. No wire gets more bites, the DTX lures are not bad for bite offs with the tow point so far forward on the lure. But they do get bitten off from time to time.

    • @marcobento1101
      @marcobento1101 Місяць тому +1

      wire or cable is the way to go with wahoo

  • @colegardner2346
    @colegardner2346 Місяць тому +1

    Do you have any insight on why my dtxs will pop out of the water when trolling? Tend to only do about 7knts.I do have very heavy mainline and I clip them straight to the mainline too. Not too much line out. Amazing product only lures that should be in the water when Ono fishing 🤙🏼

    • @NomadTackle
      @NomadTackle  Місяць тому +2

      Get rid of any large clips, swivels and connections and tie straight on or use a small crimp. These lures are designed to dive 50ft, so they need to be run well back from the boat, at least 60 metres minimum.

  • @redflametech
    @redflametech 22 дні тому

    I am guessing that was roughly 6 to 8 foot sea and I probably would’ve opted to stay in Port personally. I did wonder though do you have a seat keeper on that boat?

    Nice because the original DTXs were one or two fish lure and then they wouldn't swim straight😢

    Awesome lures, but your hooks need a major improvement. I buy your lures and swap out the hooks with Fudo Super Oceans. Great videos and products, except your hooks.

    • @NomadTackle
      @NomadTackle  28 днів тому +1

      Thanks for the feedback. As you can see from our vids we have no issues with BKK hooks. But you can change them out to whatever brand you prefer. No issues doing that at all.

      We mention this in the video and in the description. Wreck reef is 250 nautical miles off the Australian coast beyond the Great Barrier Reef.
