Quick question Mike, the Rodzilla has a size 4 butt, the screws to lock the reel are not long enough. Is there a place where I can get these screws to be longer? Thanks
Special shout out to you cap, your knowledge help me get 2nd in the wine cellar fishing and golf tournament down here in the Turks and Caicos islands. Special thanks
It's funny up off NJ I have adapted to running a hybrid kind of spread. The rig I get the most wahoo on is my shotgun which is usually a pink glo splash bar with a pink glow skirted ballyhoo stinger. Then my next I run a pair of custom tracker bars. One in pink glow and the other green glow both with ballyhoo stinger with skirts. Then off the stern is 2 nomads, usually a dtx and mad mac. That spread can handle that 9 to 10mph perfectly and I still am in the game for everything Else that's cruising like bluefin, mahi, and I have gotten multiple threshers on the plugs. Usually in the tail 😂. I'm solo 99% of the time and I'm in a tiny boat(17ft). They are my favorite fish to target anymore in summer and are way more plentiful then people realize up here
Hi Mike, I’m sure you can help me on this question. I’m fishing a meat tournament next month and I am in for Wahoo and Mahi. I will be trolling for both with my spread so high speed trolling would be out. I want to use a nomad lure like a 200 on my bent rod for wahoo but not sure that. Would work since I would be trolling under 10 mph. What would you recommend to use? Would it be better to use a ballyhoo with a sea witch. I’m open to suggestions. Thanks in advance
Thanks Mike. I used this method on a trip a month ago and hooked up on a wahoo. I used to always high speed. I like the slower troll because I can put a tuna rod on shotgun at 10MPh and still have a shot of 1 bi catch tuna on my shotgun with 4 dtx out. Works well. Thanks for the tip.
Nothing wrong with the LP you have to have one on the boat everyone wants a while in case something happens in case you've got someone on the board I want to go fishing but you have problems using his hands pror any stressful little reason.wahoo ❤️👍💪🤳
Mike do you also use the same VMc hooks on your 165 dtx?
Pro-tip. Use a wind on leader. DO NOT use the Alberto knot. PERIOD.
Watching you harvest makes me appreciate food even more.
Do you have any information regarding the new Nomad DTX 180HD, 200HD, or 220 HD LRS?
Yes same question about the hooks … 9-0 is for which 220/200/165 /180? What hook
Size for the others ?
U miss the February 21 one tuna show up on Facebook not on UA-cam

What size is the split ring. I cannot find the stats on that. Thank you.
What size hook are you replacing with on the Minnow?
I find the factory hooks to be outstanding!
How far back should I troll the lure?

I've tried replacing the hooks as suggested and find it difficult to get them to run correctly.
Are you sure you’re replacing hooks and putting them back in correct orientation with rear hook up and belly hook down?
Thanks for the knowledge!

Man I got aids trying to read your comment
Curious what knot you use from your main line to the swivel on the dtx leader?
Improved clinch knot
Thanks for sharing..
Plus LP beats getting 🦈
