22 Waterfalls Campsite! (Beers, Frogs, Rain & Big Bellied Floppers)

Another awesome double nighter with some spectacular waterfalls. We stayed at 22 Watervalle just outside Porterville, WC. I’ve been here before but didn’t get a proper look at the waterfalls because I was so ill prepared the first time. This time, however, I planned to spend an extra night to explore the spot better. Day 1 we were hit by a heavy thunderstorm and ended up sheltering in the van. Two of my tent tags tore off and I had to do a quick repair on the fly. Always have a needle & thread, trust me! We built a beer weir to keep the brews chilled, cooked some yummy food, hiked a gorge, swam under a waterfall, and had a few visitors in camp. Look Ma! I are famous! :-) Epic episode Jason, epic place. I used a Firefly last evening to ignite a charcoal chimney. Quick and efficient and an even and intense heat. Did I hear you say "Yum"? And by the way, I agree 100% about chocolate flavoured instant oats. I buy those variety packs of instant oats too. But oats just wasn't made to be chocolate flavoured, right? The other flavours just lend themselves much better & more naturally, to it.
