- Is it possible to travel the world for free?
Many people are wondering how we travel for so long. We aren't rich, we don't have much savings and we don't have a steady job but we have found ways to see the world for almost no money while not missing out on amazing adventures.
One of these ways has been volunteering around the world with the helps of various websites such as helpstay.com/
This helped us discover many countries and experience many different cultures while travelling on a small budget.
In this video, we explain how we discovered our love for travelling and how we are able to maintain a lifestyle of constant travel.

Ireland to Alaska without a plane, sounds and amazing adventure.
It is indeed! :)
Awesome seeing Nico + Cynthia back on camera again. Awesome duo and I hope they post again on their channel soon .
Thanks for your kind words Jon :) we'll be back soon!
I love the idea of help stays. I've looked into it several times, i wish it worked a little better for my particular situation... but my schedule can be so irregular with the work I do, that I never felt like I was able to make that kind of commitment. GLad you guys are enjoins it!
Awesome story. It is amazing to see other full time travelers. We have been full time traveling for the last three years with the kids and it is the best experience we have ever had. The kids are having the best experiences.
And they will have so many beautiful memories :)
Really excited for this collaboration!Thank you helpstay for allowing us to share our story here :D
Journal of Nomads awesome collaboration guys! ❤
I love the honesty of this. Have you ever ended up in a scary situation hitchhiking?
Not so far!Hitchhiking has been so much fun and we really felt safe the whole way!
Very inspiring! You make me want to do the same as you!
Thanks Simon :)
Kudos to you for showing that almost all of us can afford to travel! I agree, it's definitely an investment in yourself. Sounds like you two are living the dream!
My favorite way to save on places to stay is house sitting. People look at the life style and assume it's so easy, that you're always on vacation but it takes work.
It does take some work but it's really worth it.
Great message from my favourite Nomad couple :)
pretty cool. i wish i did that when i was younger. that's the best way to live like a local by working at where you travel to.
It's a great way to discover a culture and to make friends at the same time :)
Great tips how to travel around the world on a budget! And your real life examples perfectly prove that it is really possible.
Some great tips in this video. So true travelling doesn't have to be expensive. I did couchsurfing and homeexchange saving lots of money and gaining many nice memories.
Amazing tips. I need to remember sometimes that the experience is worth more than any money. It is hard to remember that when we are brought up believing money runs the world
Exactly!Experience is much more important than money!
Awesome on you for finding such amazing ways to see the world on a budget and let others know that it is attainable!
Traveling doesn't have to cost a lot of money. Thanks for watching :)
That is just awesome advice. I am really gettign into the idea of a workaway and volunteering in exchange for boarding and food. Love that you travel so far without taking a plane.
Thanks, doing volunteering work in exchange for room and board is definitely one of the best ways to travel.
Well we recognise these two! Not seen anything from these guys in a while, so good to see you both again!
Love that there's so many different options when traveling these days! Great video 👍🏻
Haha thanks guys
That's cool collaboration video! We have never heard about helpstay, so far we used only workaway. I think we will consider this option too!
Thank you for such an amazing, well-done and the same time inspiring video. If you would asked me that question few years ago, I would say that it is simply impossible but for last as we have been traveling extensively for last 3 years I start realizing that traveling is not as expensive as most people think. I absolutely agree that you would still need some money for travel because simply to stay alive is not free and requires some resources.
What a brave and fun story you two have! Good ideas....
Thanks for watching :)
so motivational! so cool you can exchange your skills for a bed ... the way you travel! really cool congrats and good luck
Great ideas to travel on a tight budget, and what wonderful experiences you have had. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for stopping by :)
nice content it will be a big help for travelling tips for travellers! Keep up a good work!
Thanks Grefin :)
thanks for you experiences, first you travel then you travel more :)
Yes - people often gloss out plane tickets and visas :) workaway/helpx/ helpstay - it sounds great to exchange services for stay!
I have couchsurfed before but it has a less good reputation now. I don't think I'd be as brave to hitchhike to!
Exchanging services to stay somewhere is really a good way to travel the world for free. It's what we do here at helpstay :)
Good job inspiring others to travel! I guess it's the art of just wanting to travel versus traveling well? Everybody has their own style.
I love your style and philosophy of travel! I wish I could hitchhike but I'm still too terrified!
You must have some amazing stories!
We do, and there's a lot more to come! :) Good luck in central Asia
If you're ever in London or around central europe this summer I would LOVE to interview you for my channel :)
We are in Gori in Georgia at the moment! We would love to meet up with you if you come this way :)
HEY GUYs!! this a new channel? so happy to see you both again. Cool tips, I just heard of the app WWoof yesterday that gives you work in places around the world for a place to stay.
Hi Shawn :) Thanks for stopping by.This is a collaboration video we did with Helpstay :) It's a great platform if you want to travel to the coolest destinations on a small budget.
Journal of Nomads oh ok, very very cool, I'll look into it.
Really good info, guys! So many of these types of videos are click bait, but you're really doing it :)
Thanks for watching :)
Amazing video :)
This is so inspiring, thanks so much for sharing! It is almost more fun traveling like this than saving up and spending money on hotels. I think it's amazing that you can contribute to the communities where you're living on your adventures :) I've subbed!
Being able to help the communities we visit is something we love so much!
Hola soy de colombia y me gustaria ser parte de esto conocer culturas y enseñar de la mia pero pues no cuento con el dinero para viajar 😞 saludos espero algun dia poder hacer realidad esto

You know how to network
Sounds great and it sounds like a challenging and rewarding experience. How long will it take to venture through all six continents? Do you have a definitive planned route?
We think it will take us around seven years :)
Im go to planet
I've had a recent bereavement after 9 years of being a carer. This really appeals to me but I'm worried about safety. Are the hosts vetted as my worry is going as a woman on my own I want to feel safe.
HelpStay is a community that is committed to providing a safe, secure and legitimate environment for helpers and hosts. Full details on how it works and how our vetting process is available at the following link - helpstay.com/pages/how-it-works
But how do you make the money to keep traveling? I assume you have a job but I'm just curious.
How to possible?
I have few things to ask you,So what shoul I do to contact you?

Good to read you're considering a volunteering trip. First, we would suggest that you spend some time looking around our site - helpstay.com/ -- That will give you the best idea of how our platform works and how we facilitate volunteering and helping overseas.
Account are cost
Sounds all great. Just your website search sucks totally! Nothing works. The whole page is moving, when trying to change these already preset choices and the sliders don't work at all.
All waste of time, creating lots of frustrations. Get professional help!
Thank you for your comment. We are working to improve our search functionality and will be launching a new search capability over the coming weeks.
@@SGleeson Thanks for prompt response. Sounds promising. Hopefully it works. I have now joined and gladly paid workaway. Helpx could also need some improvements. I still hesitate to pay for them. A lot of old ads turn up.... So if you are up with a working version of your site, you might still be able to find a lot of members. Good luck! Cheers
How to go work Ngo
