Another great video! I appreciate you spending the extra time making these videos.
Hey. Thanks for tuning in! Just telling my story- Thanks again & Stay Tuned!
dog gone connectors are a pain in an arthurites. cool fish excitement in your voice.
Yeah- they're hitting but the pickings are slim. Thanks again !
I've found a come-a-long is not only for pulling but great for lifting weight too heavy for someone our age and with back conditions. If there's no overhead rafters strong enough to hook to then sting a cable across to post and hook up to them, slide motors over with a pull rope. When done take it down and throw it in the van for later use.
Yeah- should come in handy! Thanks again !
Great job it’s always something if it’s not one thing it’s 4 never fails
Yep- Thanks again !
always a good way to start the weekend with watchin a upload of you💪💪
Thanks for tuning in!
I could hear it gurgling in down in Sebring,,,,lol
That was me! Haha! Thanks !
Tune in next time when we hear TOO say; “I can’t believe I got the 20 running right”!
The struggle is real, stay after it.
Hahaha! Thanks again!
My call is: wider on the outside as it would provide better stabilizing leverage. Hey, I sure hope to see that 20 hp pushing that skiff asap since you invested so much time and effort into it. If it won't run fine ... it's possessed, and you need to call-in the Alaskan exorcist a.k.a. Kodibass. Regards !
Hahaha! Yep! Thanks again !
We had a heatwave today, got up to 46 d.🥵
Hahaha- we were hitting 80! But I don't think Old Man Winter is done yet! Thanks again !
Another great presentation man, thanks for the great content! Also, I got an out board question. I've got a 28spl Johnson. I just picked up a like era 30 horse Johnson. My question is, I think these pwr heads are the same, can they be swapped out? because the 28 does not have a through exhaust hub, but the 30 does. 1980s motors
Hey. Thanks so much! You'll have to go to marineengine.com or boats.net or crowleymarine.com and look up both years/models- if they both use the same exhaust gasket then you can swap them. I think they're gonna be different but check to be sure!
I keep a Dolly in my truck...just for that...moving a motor
Yeah man! Thanks again!
alligators 😮
Yes- could be lurking! Thanks!
Wider on inside
Yeah thats what I'm thinkin too!
Also, I could always fix the 30, and swap out my 28. they are both long shat motors, which i need for my skiff. If you had a choice, between the two tyles of lowers, the older clam shell is what's on the 28, with a splined hub, the 30, has the standard through exhaust. Which do you like better?
I really don't have a preference- My choice would be best overall condition/ compression/ etc... get that one done first and on the boat! - then get the the other one up and running- Then swap them out and see which one you like best- keep one as a backup or sell it or whatever--- The 28 is really a 30- when they started rating the horse power at the prop instead of the powerhead they knocked off a couple horse power and thats where the "Specials" came into play. Good luck! sounds like your going to be busy! Thanks Again!
where there's a will,there's a way (and a relation)HaHa
Yep- Gotta do whatcha gotta do! Thanks again !
Wider on the outside
Thanks for tuning in!
10:23 Careful---you are flirting with disaster♿
Yeah- very careful! Thanks!
Man you do get yourself in some predicaments don't you 😊 and as far as the foot control goes it's pretty damn simple I don't know why he's scared of it that's elementary crap
Yeah he's worried about running into someone's boat- He'll figure it out. Thanks!
You are going to screw your back up
Slow and easy- best I can do! Thanks again !
